"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"

"The hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable."

"This was my second stay here. The first time, I had a room for two people and it was tiny. This time, I booked a triple room and they upgraded us, which made it much more spacious. The location is super convenient; it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nihonbashi subway station. Getting to the airport is easy too, as the airport shuttle stop is just a five-minute walk away. Dotonbori is right across the street, and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. There are also plenty of drugstores nearby for shopping, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk down the street, which is always packed and bustling. The only downside is that the hotel's washing machines are always in use. I tried to use one countless times on my first day, carrying my dirty laundry back and forth, but it was still busy even past 1 AM. I finally managed to use one at 3:30 PM the next day."

"🚎 Commute: Just a 1-minute walk from Ebisucho Station Exit 3 to the hotel! Super convenient! Dotonbori is only two subway stops away, or about a 25-minute walk. Hygiene: I was personally very satisfied, although the air conditioning had a strange smell for the last two days, not sure why. Housekeeping: They bring fresh towels and bottled water every day! Thumbs up! Honestly, I don't use that many towels, haha. They also clean the room and make the bed on the second day of your stay. Bathroom: It's quite compact, but the shower pressure is excellent, making for a refreshing wash. Taller or larger guests might find it a bit inconvenient. 🤓 In summary: The best choice for solo travelers! If I come to Osaka again, I'd recommend staying at this hotel. It's also very quiet at night; I was worried it might be noisy, but it wasn't at all. The guests in the neighboring rooms were all very considerate. 😇 🥹🥹 A wonderful trip to Osaka!"

Dental kit, cotton pads/buds, body towel, mouthwash, body sponge, comb, razor, 'Odashi sachet, tea Spaciousness: 8/10 for the price point of a twin room, thus more than spacious enough for 1, got desk and writing equipment, TV. Room cleanliness: 9.5/10 Only tiny amount of dust on table/remotes, no stains on the walls / furniture (Also, surprisingly the cleanest hotel I've stayed in throughout 2.5 weeks in Japan, across 8 hotels, including Roku Kyoto) Bed: 6.5/10 Old springy kind Toilet: 8/10 Surprisingly spacious and did not compromise on the bathtub Quilt/blanket? 8/10 soft n heat retention good Positives: ++Hotel staff was very kind to help with Yamato luggage forwarding procedures & calling the receiving side for confirmation(info didn't match n got stuck on phone for 30mins) ++Room cleanliness superb (no spots found with UV) ++Got one-piece PJs, easy to wear, legs a bit cold tho, recommended to wear your own socks to sleep ++Humidifier available in room (very important during winter/spring!) ownself topup for hygiene purpose ++Love that the toilet size had piority despite the small room! It was even bigger than my Nagoya's hotel, can stretch legs a bit more in this tub ++Toilet got constantly heated seats!!!! ++Bathtub has armrest ++Electronics street right round the corner, e-earphones! Cons: -- No bath salts -- Some smoke smell lingering in lift / corridors due to smoking room @ first floor? -- *DO NOT try to walk from the major Namba station from KIX in freezing winds n maze w luggage. The location from Namba subway is madness if you have luggage. Only try to bring your luggage from Ebisu station instead! (But was a good walk w shops and food everywhere) Overall: 10/10 for this price point!"

"Used the room for 4 nights, the stuff was polite , they informed about changing towels every day but they will clean it up only once during our stay. Room condition is good, toilets and towels very clean. One minus of our room was that it was noisy because of highway. Overall perfect for price. Zoo is located right backside of the hotel. The zoo is definitely must visit place in Osaka!"

"Good amenities and fair price, but cleanliness and comfort need improvement. I stayed here for a week with my partner. The room was small for two people but manageable, and the bathroom was clean with good amenities. The main issue was housekeeping — they only came once, leaving us with piles of garbage and lots of dust, which was tough since I have allergies. The AC made a loud noise every 10 minutes when on, though the microwave was handy for quick meals. A big plus was the luggage storage — very useful since we arrived before the 3 PM check-in and left after the 11 AM check-out. For the price, it was acceptable, but cleanliness and comfort need improvement."
