The hotel is very close to the red and white striped lighthouse. The front desk isn't staffed at night, but the room was very clean and had a sea view. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and a GU store which is convenient for shopping.

Facilities: There's not much around here. Getting a taxi is difficult. Hygiene: The room was clean. Service: It's good enough that there was no discrimination. Environment: The smoking area door in the lobby stinks terribly. I couldn't stand it every time I passed by. There's not much to do in winter. Wouldn't really recommend it.

The hotel is in a strategically convenient location near the Black Pork Street and Dongmun Traditional Market within walking distance. It also has a parking lot, pretty convenient for drivers. The receptionist is also friendly and forthcoming. The room is spacious and clean even though it is not new but well-renovated and well-maintained. If I come back to this area again in the future, I will stay here again.

The hotel was generally clean. However, I can't say for sure if the bathtub in the room was properly cleaned. There is an ocean-view pool on the rooftop. It is only open from 11:00 to 18:00, so it would be even better if it was open later.

This is my second time staying at Shin Shin Hotel Seogwipo. It's very well-located, near the bus stop, has many convenience stores within a 150m distance, close to cafes, restaurants, and Seogwipo Olle Market. I also love that there is a washing machine in every room. 🙌🏼 Moreover, they let me checkin a day late since I was stranded in Udo as ferry services between Udon and Jeju were suspended due to strong winds. I'd stay here again and again. 😃

I can't praise this hotel enough! The sea view room is absolutely stunning!! Waking up to that view every day was so therapeutic. The hotel environment is great, and there's a heated pool downstairs, a convenience store, and more. The service was excellent too! The only minor drawback is that there aren't many dining options nearby, but it's only a 15-minute taxi ride to the city center for food.

The hotel itself was decent, and the location was good – the largest local market in Seogwipo was just a short walk away! However, first and foremost, the lack of a front desk upon check-in was incredibly inconvenient. It's a hotel, not a guesthouse! Secondly, while I can overlook the small room size, what I absolutely couldn't stand was that all the lights were touch-activated and would automatically turn off in less than ten minutes! I tend to shower slowly, and this became really awkward; halfway through my shower, the lights went out, and the touch panel wasn't even in the bathroom, but outside! It was also inconvenient when using the toilet. Honestly, I just don't understand this design! You can strive for energy efficiency, but not at the expense of guest experience and convenience, right?! The hotel staff seemed unaware of this design flaw, and perhaps Koreans aren't as vocal about feedback (unlike the Japanese, haha). In the morning, the hotel seemingly responsibly sent someone to inspect it, but after all that, they told me they found no problems! Yet, I felt like they didn't even understand the issues I was reporting, which sounds a bit ridiculous! The dining area was right there in front of me, but then I was told they weren't serving breakfast. I found that quite incomprehensible as well!

If you're staying in Hamdeok, you definitely need to book a room with an ocean view. This place is conveniently located and really offers great value for money. However, the windows were a bit dirty and the facilities are a bit old; I hope they can improve that.

The room is huge for 2a2c. It's actually two rooms that merged into one so we actually have two doors. One side of the room is the bed area and the other side is the living area with sofa and TV. There are two bathrooms as well and one comes with a bathtub. Parking lots are a little limited but no issues with parking our car here at the end of the day. I guess its first come first serve. They are very generous with their in room snacks and its for free. Breakfast could be better I feel and with more varieties. But other than that all is good. Appreciate the steam dryer feature in the room.

The room was pretty good. The decor is a bit dated, but: 1. It was clean and tidy. 2. The soundproofing was decent. Even though it's on a main street, I slept well and wasn't disturbed by noise at night. 3. It's very close to the duty-free shop, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Food delivery can also be sent to the front desk. 4. The front desk staff effortlessly switched between English, Chinese, and Korean, making communication smooth. The cleaning lady always greeted me with a smile, and the doorman warmly said goodbye when I left. 5. Check-out is at 11 AM, but you can store your luggage for free downstairs. 6. Korean duty-free shops are just too good! I'll definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time I visit!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great. Right outside, there's a bus stop for the 600 bus to the airport, and 7-Eleven, CU, and GS25 convenience stores are just by the entrance. It's also a short walk to Baojian Street. The room cleanliness was just so-so, probably on par with a 3-star hotel in China, but they cleaned it daily. If you opted out of cleaning, they'd still leave towels and water outside your door. For just over 200, the price for this location is excellent. The self-check-in and check-out are very convenient for introverts, and there's also luggage storage. However, I booked a double room but got a twin room upon check-in. When I scanned the QR code to contact staff, they said my original booking was for a twin room and that this was actually an upgrade. I'm not sure where the mix-up happened, but the room was spacious, which was nice.

GGuest UserAbout 15 minutes by car from airport. A quieter part of Jeju city but enough restaurants within walking distance plus on-site convenience shop. Clean and well-maintained with superb housekeeping crew. Breakfast buffet was average. On-site cafe has reasonably priced food and dribks. No dental kit or shaving kit in room and so bring your own!

GGuest UserWe stayed in a double plus single bed room facing the airport/ocean. It was a lovely view. Check in and check were both pretty smooth. Room size is okay for small family. Bathroom comes air heated bidet which is appreciative during cold months. The bed were very comfortable and we have a very restful night. Location is seems to be surrounded by lots of restaurants catered to PRC tourists. Even walking on the street feels like we are in China. Shops like Innisfree and Olive Young are just steps away from the entrance. It makes a good airport hotel as the drive is only 15mins. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle stating from 7am.

DDangchizhuchangThe hotel is located in downtown Jeju Island, directly opposite the Shilla Duty Free Shop. There are plenty of food and shopping options nearby, as well as a shuttle bus, but be sure to check the operating hours. The hotel lobby offers luggage storage, but you can only check in after 3 PM – that's an important point! The room size is decent, though the facilities are a bit old. Overall, it offers good value for money! They offer Chinese service at check-in and provide Olive Young discount coupons! Around the hotel, you can find local Jeju delicacies like black pork, fried chicken, pork backbone soup, and abalone porridge. However, don't expect too much from the taste; none of it was particularly outstanding. A barbecue meal for two usually costs over 300 (Korean Won/Chinese Yuan, please specify if you know). There are several Olive Young stores nearby where you can get immediate tax refunds, which is quite convenient! If you arrive at Jeju Airport on an early flight and don't know what to do, I suggest heading directly to Dongmun Market near the airport to kill some time. Seven Stars Street is also close by, with many sports brand stores!

EExpatI really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax. There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast. The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on. I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best. Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise.. It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though. What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning. I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel. I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.

GGuest UserGreat Location, But Key Issues Need Attention. **The Bad:**   Unfortunately, several issues impacted our comfort:   1. Construction Noise: Our room faced an active construction site. Work started very early in the morning, which severely disturbed our sleep. 2. Poor Cleanliness: The wardrobe had not been properly cleaned– we found layers of dust and leftover items from previous guests. 3. Damp Towels: Bathroom towels felt damp and had a musty  smell, likely from not being dried thoroughly after washing.   4. Uncomfortable Bed: The pillows were overly thick, while the mattress was too soft. This combination caused back and neck pain after few nights sleep.  **The Good:**   1. The location is excellent– very close to the city center, bus stops, and the airport, making it extremely convenient for travelers. 2. Self check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated.

DDayuangeFive-star review all around! The hotel's facilities are perfect. Even though the standard rooms aren't huge, they are clean and well-maintained. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and the outdoor one is heated, so you can swim even in winter. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but it's really good.

GGuest UserWhen we checked in, we were told breakfast was from 6-10 AM. On the first morning, we arrived at the restaurant at 9:35 AM, only to be told by a male staff member that the last entry time was 9:30 AM. He was very firm and wouldn't let us in for breakfast, no matter what we said. Talking to the front desk staff also yielded no results... The next morning, we were having breakfast in the restaurant, and at 9:42 AM, there were still plenty of people coming in to eat. The restaurant's dining management standards are inconsistent and not at all customer-friendly. In over twenty trips both domestically and internationally, I've never encountered something like this. I'm speechless.

JJulietteLI had such a wonderful stay at Mir’s! First time in Korea so wanted to familiarize myself with locals by starting off staying at a shared dorm. Eventually chose Mir’s over other hotels! First night at the place was greeted by Kevin, a very sweet boy who’s been so helpful and kind. The owner of the place is also very welcoming and polite. The whole building is well designed and very clean, smelling good. Rooms are quiet and people are respectful! Very happy with the stay. The location is so amazing as it’s close to the ocean and many cute coffee shops and delicious restaurants. Thank you!

GGuest UserCheck in was seamless, there’s a self check in machine! Room was clean, came with all basic amenities. We had shower leak issue and it was quickly resolved after calling the front desk and they sent someone up immediately to replace the shower head. 👍🏻 The only downside is their parking lots are limited (& tight), and some nights we ended up parking at the nearby public multistorey carpark, they did offer to reimburse the fees but it was still a hassle.
