Onomo Hotel is great for those were on transit and have a late or early flight arrival into Casablanca. The hotel provide shuttle service from the airport which is helpful. There are not much eating places around the hotel, the nearest ones is about 30 to 40 minutes walk away.
Hotel is cleaned bed, comfortable and staff are super in their service.
Honestly, it's not a hotel, but its design is very excellent.
The staff are a bit strange, especially the girl in the morning shift. She seems a bit self-absorbed and deliberately delays people's check-ins just to satisfy her ego and feel important.
As for Mohammed, who is in the afternoon shift, he should be an advisor at the Ministry of Tourism (he is the epitome of humility and morals, and very cheerful. I hope the hotel management rewards him with a double salary, or at least half a salary). As for Othman, he is cheerful but afraid. I asked him for a bottle of water that didn't cost more than one dirham, and he ignored me.
So, I will be very frank.
And don't forget the dark-skinned cleaning lady. She is a princess with her morals and smile, and she tries to help and meet everyone's needs.
And don't forget the security guard, Ahmed. Honestly, he is worth his weight in gold.
Such a lovely experience! The team went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing.
The hotel room door was unlocked, and someone opened it multiple times in the morning. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear conversations from next door and in the hallway very clearly. The breakfast was mediocre, with very few options. It was super crowded, and you had to fight with a lot of people for food because many tour groups were staying there. The location is good, close to the train station and the old town.
The hotel is organised and clean, but there is only one problem, the lack of slippers and toothbrushes. I come from China, and there in all the hotels they have all the necessary equipment.
This hotel has very clear pros and cons.
Let's start with the downsides: it's incredibly noisy! If you're a light sleeper, I'd strongly advise against it. The hotel is in the same building as a mall and supermarket. Right outside the hotel window are the commercial facilities, probably air conditioning or refrigerator compressors. They kick on every 10 minutes or so at night, creating a huge amount of noise. It's like sleeping with your head on a refrigerator, and the sound is so penetrating that even with earplugs, you can clearly hear it. It goes on 24/7, from day to night, significantly impacting sleep. Half the hotel rooms face these commercial equipment floors.
Now for the upsides: there's a mall and supermarket downstairs, along with Domino's Pizza and McDonald's, making shopping and dining very convenient. The train station is just a 6-minute walk across the street, which is great for getting around. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and the service is excellent – nothing to complain about there.
The location is excellent. It is just 5 mins walk to the train station and about 10 mins walk to the Central Market. Many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff is very friendly. The room is basic but enough for a stay.
The whole breakfast arrangement here was hopeless. The breakfast room was not set up, there was little food, It was of poor quailty, The few staff that were there were all focus on empty VIP room not for normal guests.Simple request were met with curt responses. No cleaning table, No forks, No Tissue, The binding tape is still on the rock melon skin. Wait a half hour to get juice. Only 4 table less 10 people at that time. The wall mounted AC controls do nothing and the instructions on the panel dont help. The real AC control panel is near the ceiling! The hotel was a 5 min walk to corniche and Mosque.
View from hotel room was amazing. Booked the deluxe room and was very satisfied with size of room and storage compartments. There was a separate fully-equipped shower/bathroom and separate toilet with bidet. Only problem is that wi-fi is very weak where we were (14th floor), unable to do some work that needed to be finished but in the communal areas in the lobby/ground floor it worked amazingly. Cleaners only speak french however they’re very nice and always restocked mini bar/bathroom whenever needed. Location isn’t very accessible, there’s only a mini grocery store (bim) about a 3 minute walk away.

TTOBISThis was my first time flying Royal Air Maroc, and I had an overnight layover in Casablanca. Based on reviews, I chose this hotel because it mentioned train access to the city center. Even though navigation didn't show the route, I found the train station a short walk to the left after exiting arrivals. I bought a ticket to Casa Port from the vending machine for 60 local currency. The last train was supposed to be at 9:55 PM, with one transfer. However, the train didn't show up by 10:20 PM. Staff arranged for us to take a bus to the transfer station. From there, it would have been over an hour's walk back to the hotel, so we waited another 40 minutes on the bus before it finally took us to Casa Port. It was then a 30-minute walk back to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend walking that far at night, especially alone or for women, as I felt the area might not be very safe. So, I opted for an Uber to the airport the next day, which cost 330 local currency, avoiding any haggling with taxis. The hotel itself was nice, and breakfast was good. The next morning, I walked to see the Hassan II Mosque and some nearby attractions. I think more information about transportation options would be helpful.
MManfred JamesCheck-in was a nightmare. First they couldn't find my booking so sent me to the sister hotel saying I must be booked there. I wasn't but at least that chap was helpful, found the booking and accompanied me back to the first hotel where he explained to the first recptionist how to do his job. A rather disgruntled fellow finally issued my key but need to charge me local tax. Didn't want to take local money - had no change, and tried to make me use a card for a couple of £ , hence incurring charges, exchange rate discrepancies etc. In the end I lost my cool and just started to walk away - they suddenly found change!
But the hotel itself was clean, comfortable and quiet, much better than the Odomo I used last time. Shuttle bus every half hour compared to the every hour at the other place. I will use it again.
IIsmailThe room was decent and really appreciated the Shower amenities. There was construction work nearby so it wasn’t very convenient to park.
What we didn’t appreciate is that the hotel gave us a Studio instead of the apartment we initially booked without informing us. We asked many times but we never had a solution offered.
Also, You should ask to get towels and toilet paper. They were not provided.
Yyana unoWe arrive after midnight. The front desk was so nice and they gave us free upgrade to suite. The hotel is actually quite far. We'll, to he honest kinda my fault for not checking the location before we book it. 35 minutes walk from casa port, 25 minutes with the tram to casa voyageurs, and 40 minutes walk to hasan mosque. Good things is the hotel is not very far from the tram stop. The hotel room itself looks really nice, but not clean. The drainage to the shower was clog. So when we took shower, it started to flooding to all over the bathroom. We told the front desk about it. Bit nothing really don't with it. Also first day was there. I saw blood stain on one of the pillow case. Luckily they have lots of pillow inside the room. So I did not use it. The next night I saw they change the pillow case, but this time I saw blood stain on the blanket which was not there the night before. I thunk they should check them properly and clean it. From the picture u can see it is an old stain.
JjhjqThis hotel and restaurant is run by three Chinese women. We booked a deluxe double room, which was quite spacious, very new, and clean. Their Chinese restaurant is supposedly the best in Casablanca, and it really lives up to its reputation. Our Chinese friends working locally treated us to a meal there, and it was incredibly authentic – it didn't feel like eating Chinese food abroad at all. They have three chefs: one from Guangdong, one from Sichuan, and I forget where the third one is from. There are Chinese staff at the front desk, so communication was seamless. You can also directly scan WeChat to exchange RMB for Dirhams, which is something other hotels don't offer. Breakfast is a Chinese buffet, quite rich, with congee, soy milk, steamed buns, twisted rolls, and tea eggs. The hotel is very close to Mohammed V Square and the Old Medina, within walking distance, and there's a tram stop nearby, making transportation convenient. There are also many coffee shops and juice bars in the vicinity. Perhaps what needs improvement is the enthusiasm of the staff; when Chinese people meet other Chinese people, not even a basic 'hello' is offered.
AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent. It is just 5 mins walk to the train station and about 10 mins walk to the Central Market. Many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff is very friendly. The room is basic but enough for a stay.
MM308132****The biggest advantage is that it is close to the beach and the sunset is super beautiful. The room is super big, it may have been there for many years, and it even looks a bit empty. The overall location is good, it is worth living.
GGuest UserThere are total 4 of us staying in the Riad for 3 nights.
Myself and my boyfriend room is at the 2nd floor
2 of our friends are at the ground floor next to the “living” area.
The Riad is located near the Main Street and it is very easy to find and navigate. Great location !
Inside the Riad it is nicely decorated too.
1. The room is huge and nicely decorated , clean
2. Staffs are very friendly and with minimal charges they will get the clothes washed too
3. Heater works very well
4. The breakfast was nothing special usually it comes with eggs and multiple choices of local breads and sweets with coffee and tea
5. They are very accommodating to our friends’ request to change to another room too
Point to note :
The shower and toilet are combined so the floor get wet after each shower
Overall we had a great experience here and would recommend it to other travellers too.
