The AP Dona Aninhas was a beautiful hotel with all the amenities! The service was exceptional, the food fantastic and accommodations great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Got a great price on the hotel also. They also went above and beyond. They connected with our next nights hotel and made arrangements with them to pick up our swimwear that we forgotten in our rooms. It was at our next hotel when we showed up later that day.
The hotel is located high in the town. You can see the hotel at the bottom of the mountain. The drive there is very easy, and as soon as you enter the door, you can see Santuário do Sagrado Coração de Jesus. The scenery is very good and refreshing!
However, our friend who was traveling with us stayed in a room with a lot of mosquitoes. At first, the receptionist said it was normal and then offered to change rooms. Apart from this one, the other rooms are okay.
Very good hotel, with a magnificent pool. Relatively close to the city center, you can walk.
What I don't understand is that you can't pay by card if you buy less than €5 at the hotel bar. You can't have a beer without metal. One of the people who worked there insisted a lot that you couldn't pay less than €5 with a card, it was also difficult for them to charge it to my room by showing my ID at reception, finally and as an exceptional favor, they charged it to me and I paid it in the checking out. It shouldn't be that difficult.😫
A wonderful place!
From the very first moment, we were greeted with warm smiles that made us feel truly welcome. The room was like a fairytale – with exquisite woodcarving and a magnificent bed that transported us back in time, as if we were characters from the era of sword duels. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel team for their warmth and for making this stay unforgettable!
Hotel with excellent sea view, opposite view (mountain) is an industrial area.
Hotel is near a highly moving road (even night), room with little soundless windows which did not allow rest
A satisfactory buffet breakfast, but nothing special.
The pool and gym belong to the Solinca Group, with internal access to the hotel and can be used several times.
To help, a football team was hosted that last night decided to celebrate in the lobby and in the rooms, to which the hotel staff did not give the proper answer to the problem, preferring discomfort and the complaints of the guests the resolution of the situation.
I will not return to this hotel, there are other quiet and more targeted options for guests in this city.
This was one of the best and most unique hotels we've ever visited. The location is perfect, there are tons of shops, restaurants, and bakeries, plus several historical sites and museums that are must-see. The hotel's chocolate museum is truly an incredible experience, especially in the education of the history of chocolate and the cocoa bean. And the chocolate products themselves are fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel if you are planing to visit this town.
We had a fantastic stay at Axis hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. We especially loved the breakfast and spa. Can’t wait to come back!”
All right in general.
It needs a electric car loader, I don't think the payment for a bathroom towel loan is right, it should have hot water in the bathroom bathrooms.
Good breakfast and careful at the service.

The hotel is on the mountain, follow the navigation, the door is not particularly obvious, it is best to check during the day
in. The service staff is very enthusiastic, the environment is good, quiet and natural. The hotel has its own horse farm, and horseback riding is required.

GGuest UserWe were in awe of this home. So much to explore and so much history! Loved the thick granite walls and original wooden doors/shutters with hardware, antiques and displays everywhere, beautiful view, and even a pool. It is situated in a quaint little area by a church and you can easily walk down to the river. The area around Ponte da Barca is absolutely beautiful and fun to explore. The hosts are very friendly and offered a lovely breakfast.

GGuest UserAt the hotel, our experience was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided us with exceptional treatment, making us feel welcome and cared for at all times. The outdoor pool was a true oasis of tranquility, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the good weather. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing everything needed for a 10 stay. Additionally, we decided to have a massage at the hotel spa, and the quality of service exceeded our expectations, leaving us completely revitalized.

NNick DewhirstHad the room all to myself. It's a really modern property overlooking the sea /river. The breakfast was excellent as ever. Great stop off between Porto and Santiago de Compostela. Sadly only two trains per day!
