"Very nice hotel with a great breakfast welcoming people at the reception. Amazing cleaning of the room when done. It is a shame that the service is not consistent across the hotel’s employee. Cashier at the Atrium cafe was really slow and awful next to him very friendly pizza guy who did a great pizza. Shuttle to go to the haram with again inconsistent service. As evidence a picture of the driver enjoying chatting with his colleague from double tree hotel while we were waiting in the car."

At the sacred heart of the Muslim world, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah offers a refined retreat shaped around meaning, care, and quiet luxury. Designed to support one of life’s most significant journeys, the hotel provides a sense of ease, privacy, and thoughtful comfort throughout each stay. It features 1,033 rooms and suites, four restaurants and cafés, and a fitness center. Every detail reflects Jumeirah’s commitment to gracious service, calm spaces, and deeply considered hospitality.

"Jumeirah Hotel was excellent in terms of facilities — everything is new, clean, and well-maintained. Credit where it’s due: the staff were genuinely outstanding, extremely attentive, and always eager to help. Service level is easily one of the best. Location-wise, it’s around a 4–6 minute walk to Al Haram, which is acceptable. However, let’s be real — compared to the Clock Tower hotels, they are noticeably closer and more convenient, especially during peak prayer times. Now, about the “Partial Haram View” — this needs honesty. We booked two Deluxe Rooms with Partial Haram View, but the view is technically there… if you really look for it 😅. The Haram is barely visible, and most of the view is dominated by unfinished construction. You’ll spend more time spotting the Haram than enjoying it. Bottom line: Excellent hotel, top-tier service, great facilities — but don’t book it expecting a meaningful Haram view. If proximity and view matter, Clock Tower hotels still win."

Where Spirituality Meets Comfort Just Steps from the Holy Mosque The hotel is located within the King Abdul Aziz Endowment and offers immediate access to Al Masjid Al Haram being steps away from Haram. Designed first and foremost for spiritual retreat, the hotel provides an environment of calm and reverence, ideal for guests visiting Hajj or Umrah. The experience begins with a selection of over 1,301 rooms and suites, many of which have been recently renovated.

"I was with a group of nine, including three small children. The room was quite spacious, and there was even room to cook. The facilities listed '4 beds,' but we only got 3 beds. However, that was okay because we had a great bellboy, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast had many options and could be brought to the room if packed (not on plates). There was a kind attendant who didn't limit our breakfast portions, so all 8-9 of us could eat our fill... this was really helpful, haha! The location is super close, a straight walk directly to the Kaaba entrance."

Enjoy our five versatile dining options: Al Naim, the main dining restaurant; Al Diwan, a tea lounge, three buffet venues Hajar Restaurant, Al Firdaous and Al Naseem restaurant offer a creative and extensive array of international and Swiss specialties.

"Dear Trip.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, which was booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category, nor the information confirmed prior to arrival. 1. Early Check-in Confirmation Not Honored Before my arrival, I received a message from the hotel requesting confirmation of my check-in time if it was before 12:00 PM. I confirmed this accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no room was available and was asked to wait until around 4:00 PM, under the pretext that this is the standard check-in time. This was both disappointing and exhausting, especially after travel, and contradicted the prior communication from the hotel. 2. Bathroom Plumbing Issue On the first day, I encountered a serious issue in the bathroom where water overflowed and accumulated, making it impossible to shower or even use the sink properly. Although the issue was eventually repaired, it significantly affected my comfort during the first day of my stay. 3. Repeated Unfulfilled Requests (Pillow and Blanket) I requested an extra pillow and blanket multiple times (at least four separate requests). Each time, I was assured that they would be delivered shortly, yet they never arrived. This reflects poor service follow-up and lack of coordination. 4. Incorrect Breakfast Restaurant Assignment At check-in, the reception staff encoded my room key with access to a breakfast restaurant that was extremely limited in size, overcrowded, and of noticeably low quality. Often, there were no available tables, forcing guests to wait. Every morning, hotel staff verified my eligibility to enter this restaurant. However, on the last day, a different employee informed me—unexpectedly—that my booking actually entitled me to access a higher-quality, more premium breakfast restaurant, which I immediately visited. This means I was wrongly deprived of the service level included in my booking for the majority of my stay. --- Considering all the above issues—miscommunication, delayed room availability, maintenance problems, poor service responsiveness, and incorrect service allocation—I believe this stay fell far below reasonable expectations. I kindly request that Trip.com review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and service failures I experienced, whether in the form of a partial refund, Trip.com credit, or another suitable resolution. I trust Trip.com’s commitment to customer satisfaction and look forward to your response. Thank you for your time and attention. Kind regards, Ibrahim Ahmed"

Very reasonable price, excellent hotel cleanliness, and away from the noise. There's a complex of restaurants and cafes in the hotel square, and a distinct mosque nearby. There's also a shuttle service to the Haram every hour, as well as a return service, but the return is annoying because you have to take two buses.

The breakfast need improvement by variety and most of the food was cold. Staff are great and hotel was really nice. Additionally the lounge acess timing need to be more flexible specially as we want to pray in Masjid Al Haram its very tight for example snack time that is between 7 PM to 9 PM, also I dont know why they call it snack time that I discovered its dinner. This is the view from the room I booked partial Kaaba view.

Overall the hotel staff & receptionist services was very great. Unfortunately, we had bad experiences with the Majlis Restaurant & Cafe Staff services. They force us as the guest of the Raffles for any order with specific minimum order and payment, even though the time we visit is around 9.30 pm (local time), after the dinner. Please take the act as appropriate for any staff that not provide good service and humble to the Hotel Guest. Appreciated and thanks.

When we pick kaaba view and we see that the picture associated is clear kaaba view, the perception is the room is clear kaaba view without obstruction.
