"Choosing this hotel for our trip to Changbai Mountain was an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we felt a warm welcome. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, proactively telling us about local attractions and reminding us to dress warmly. Our room was clean and spacious, with excellent heating, and the snowy landscape outside the window was incredibly therapeutic to watch from bed. The soundproofing was great; we had a peaceful night's sleep. The location is super convenient, close to both the scenic area and the ski resort, and the shuttle service was always on time. Coming here in winter to enjoy the hot springs and snow views really elevated our experience. It's great value for money with attentive service. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Changbai Mountain; I highly recommend it!"

"The rooms were relatively clean and well-equipped, though the 'deluxe' room type didn't have a bathtub – only the 'luxury' rooms did. The hot springs are located within the hotel and weren't crowded, but there also weren't many pools. They're divided into bathing area pools, public area pools, and outdoor pools. Sometimes the water temperature wasn't very high in the evenings, occasionally only reaching 36.5°C. Be aware that face wash isn't provided at the hot springs, so bring your own. The dining was quite average. The breakfast buffet didn't offer a wide variety of dishes, and there wasn't much change over our two-day stay. For lunch, only the BBQ restaurant on the second floor was open. The food was pricey, there were few staff members, and the service felt a bit stiff. We had no choice but to dine at the nearby Holiday Inn, where we found the Chinese restaurant to be excellent. We ordered a sauerkraut hot pot, stir-fried asparagus with beef tripe and mushrooms, stir-fried sliced beef, a hot spring egg with lettuce and perilla leaves, sea urchin tofu, and steamed coarse grain buns. We were very satisfied with our meal, and the price was reasonable. They even had a lion dance performance. There's a scheduled shuttle bus for skiing, and a coach service for transfers to and from the high-speed rail station. The hotel isn't far from the high-speed rail station, about a 40-minute drive. A special shout-out to the cookies gifted by the hotel front desk – they were absolutely delicious!"

"The room facilities are complete and spacious enough, and the bedding is very clean and odor-free. The service is warm and attentive! The breakfast is plentiful, and every dish is worth trying. Unlike other star hotels where the food is bland, the dishes here taste absolutely amazing! The hot spring area deserves a huge thumbs-up; there are all sorts of pools, and the water quality is top-notch. There are outdoor pools of various sizes, and there's even a pool where you can swim. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, I definitely have to stay here again."

"When I was planning my trip, I looked at a lot of hotels. Honestly, we rarely choose hotels that have been operating for a very long time when we travel. However, after seeing many bloggers' recommendations and explanations, I ultimately chose the Crown Plaza 👑. **Facilities:** The decor is indeed an older style, but I have to say, the hotel's facilities were incredibly detailed and sophisticated for their time. This hotel must have been considered super luxurious when it first opened. First, it has a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which many new hotels and even five-star establishments don't necessarily offer. Second, the sink faucets are positioned high, which saves most of us from back strain. Third, there are hooks outside the shower for hanging clothes – such a simple amenity, yet many hotels lack a place for clean clothes while showering. Finally, the shower stall has a built-in seat, the water pressure is strong, the water is hot and comfortable, and the showerhead isn't wobbly from long-term use. **Environment:** It's located mid-slope on Changbai Mountain. I asked the driver, and he said the Crown Plaza is already one of the highest hotels on the mountain in the vicinity, surrounded by pristine forests. It's the closest hotel to the North Slope scenic area and even offers an exclusive VIP transfer channel. There's also a shuttle bus that circulates within the scenic area to pick up and drop off guests at the hotel. What I loved most is that Julong Hot Springs is right inside the hotel, offering unlimited free access to natural volcanic springs, which washes away a day's fatigue. It's incredibly pleasant to soak in the warm, comfortable hot spring while watching the snowy world outside. **Service:** Super-duper VIP! Even before I checked in, various butler services contacted me to arrange everything before and after my stay, including hotel transfers, booking my itinerary for the next day, and VIP transfers to the North Slope. Whatever difficulties I encountered, they were immediately handled. A huge thank you to hotel butlers Shanqiu and Songyue, and travel butler Smile, for making guests feel at home and alleviating the anxiety of arriving in an unfamiliar city. 🙏 To all the hotel staff, everyone shines in their role! 👍👍"

The hotel's location is a major advantage for travelers. Situated in the heart of Changbaishan Avenue, it's just 1 kilometer from the North Slope Distribution Center, a pleasant ten-minute walk. This saved me from the hassle of rushing for an early morning bus. Right across the street is the tranquil Alkaline Water River National Wetland Park, perfect for a relaxing stroll and some fresh air during downtime. The Cloud Top Market is also only about a ten-minute walk away, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. For those driving, the hotel offers ample free parking and charging stations, completely removing any worries about transportation. As a hotel brand centered around a humanistic approach, every design detail here showcases clever touches. The lobby features an atrium layout, adorned with reading and humanistic photography themes. Its simplicity exudes elegance, making you feel as if you've stepped into a peaceful study far from the hustle and bustle. The Bamboo House library in the public area boasts a rich collection of books; you can simply pick one up and immerse yourself. Coupled with complimentary coffee, orange juice, or lemonade, the fatigue of travel instantly melts away. The 'Late Night Congee Station' in the evening is even more heartwarming, serving hot congee and pastries from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, allowing late-returning travelers to feel the warmth of home."

"This hotel is incredibly comfortable! I'd highly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Changbai Mountain. The atmosphere and environment are fantastic, and all the facilities are brand new. Our butler, Xiao Yu, was super attentive, making sure our drinking water was always replenished promptly. They even contacted us in advance to arrange high-speed train pick-up. The hotel's breakfast spread is also incredibly rich and delicious – I loved it! I originally planned to stay another night, but my schedule was too tight, so I had to rush off. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The accommodation and dining at Mei Ju were quite good, located in an independent building next to a small park. We chose a deluxe twin room with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the park, offering a nice view. The TV was large, but watching movies required a membership. The location was a bit far from the main street, so the front desk staff helped us contact the hotel driver to take us to the main street for 10 yuan, which was about the same price as a taxi and more convenient. However, the hotel's travel butler was a bit arrogant. We had called the front desk in advance to book a ride to the high-speed rail station. The next day, when we came down on time, the butler, with his nose in the air, said there was no such service. I showed him the ”hotel confirmation letter,” and he claimed it was a platform service and had nothing to do with the hotel. After some argument, and fearing we'd be late, we decided to call a taxi. Then he said that even though there was no such service, he could arrange for someone to take us. We didn't want this 'charity,' but we couldn't get a taxi on short notice, so we ended up taking his arranged ride. When booking a hotel, make sure to confirm whether the services listed on the hotel confirmation letter are actually valid, so your travel mood isn't ruined like ours."

"The hotel is huge with a great environment and a convenient location, just ten minutes from the high-speed train station when you leave. The shuttle service to and from the station is very convenient, and the driver was punctual. The front desk staff were warm and attentive in their service. It's also close to Enduli and various activities. The Guardian Hot Spring is very unique. The security guard and a lovely lady from Shandong working at the bathhouse were both very enthusiastic. The breakfast selection is abundant, and the late-night noodles were delicious. They even have robots deliver takeout, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a very satisfying stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the North Slope."

"Normally, when I book a B&B, I always check how the owner responds to negative reviews. If they put a lot of effort into addressing and resolving issues, the experience is usually pretty good. The hotel's breakfast quality was on point, with fruit, salad, and pastries available in the mornings. It got a bit repetitive after three days, but the taste was still good. The shuttle service for getting around was super convenient, and they proactively helped with luggage. Despite temperatures of -20 to -30 degrees Celsius, the water in the hot tub was around 40 degrees, but my head was freezing and aching! The B&B's hot spring pool isn't really suitable for photos, and it was just too cold to actually enjoy a soak. They really tried their best to meet all our requests though!"
