I booked this hotel for sightseeing in Tucson. The inside was very beautiful and the room was large, so I was able to relax. The next day I went to the national park, but it was convenient to go for about 30 minutes.
Sandia is a beautiful hotel, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Trip.com for providing such a great rate for my husband and I to be able to stay at this hotel for the first time. The whole experience there was wonderful!
It's relatively clean for this price. The pillowcases are a bit damp, but the sheets are OK. The bathroom is clean. After the plane arrived at night, I waited for 30 minutes and made two or three phone calls before the hotel came to pick me up, but the drivers I met were very enthusiastic. Breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, oats, potatoes, etc., and the taste was good. Overall it was OK.
Located in the city center of Roswell, it was good to use major spots and amenities such as UFO museums, spacewalks. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great especially. In addition to yogurt, cereal and bakery sets, synamon rolls, hot bacon, cheese vegetable omelettes and pancakes came together and I was satisfied. Highly recommended as a hostel when you stop at Roswell for a family trip.
Gallup is located in western New Mexico, not far from Arizona. You can consider staying here and arrive at the Grand Canyon at noon the next day. The hotel has complete facilities, clean and tidy, quiet surroundings, and good service. The price is a little bit expensive.
Fabulous experience everything to rave about and nothing to complain. Allowed to check in early, all my requests were accommodated. High floor, pool view, near the office.
Room had coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave, all in good condition. Room was clean and had flooring instead of carpet. Didn't use the pool, but it was sparkling and nice to look at. Thought the TV wasn't working but one call to the front desk and they walked me through how to navigate it. Front door was heavy and had sturdy locks with dead bolt. Breakfast was great. Only saw the unhoused near property once but not actually on it. When leaving I needed ice hadn't noticed ice machine went to the office to inquire. They said no working ice machine on property , but took huge ice bag of ice out of their freezer and gave me enough to fill my ice chest. Above and beyond! Do not hesitate to ask front desk for anything you need.I am confident they will make every attempt to accommodate. My son attends NMSU and I make several trips to Las Cruces every year. Strayed from my old hotel because they changed ownership and doubled their prices, (lucky me!) Because i've now found my new favorite hotel. I plan to return in both November.abd December i won't have to waste time shopping hotels.Thank you Days Inn and your wonderful front desk gals! Wish
I would have gotten thier names, they are doing a wonderful job. Maids seemed to be doing what they're supposed to do and the young man I saw cleaning the pool was working hard every time I saw him. I look forward to seeing all of you again soon. Below are pictures of my actual room. I tried to be nosy when Passing by other rooms that maids were cleaning. They all looked fresh and well taken care of.
This hotel was fantastic. The retro look and attention to detail in the rooms made this hotel an enjoyable experience. The staff was super friendly, the pool was very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The price was also fantastic. If you are on the fence about booking, do it, as you won't be disappointed.
Pros:
-Breakfast decent, plenty of food
-Free bottled water, major plus!!!
-Cookies in the afternoon
-Can borrow free sleds to use for White Sand National Park, major plus!!!

AAecoThe staff at the counter had a good attitude. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom when I checked in. The equipment was replaced after notification. The equipment was a bit old. There were vagrant activities near the hotel. I was worried about the house, but it was still safe.
GGuest UserOur stay at the Econo Lodge in Socorro, New Mexico so far exceeded our expectations that I was compelled to share our experience with others. Located on the main strip, and across the street from a Walmart, it is a slightly rundown area. But the motel is taken care of like it's situated in an oasis. The room offers just what is needed for a restful stay. The bed feels newish and is extremely comfortable. The air-conditioning is user-controlled, so the temperature was cool for us after a long day of driving in high-90s weather. There is a desk to work or write on; a refrigerator and freezer, which we used to store dinner leftovers; a microwave; and a single coffee maker with regular and decaffeinated coffee pods, same for tea, and even hot chocolate. The room has a table and chairs is comfortable to play games, eat dinner, or share a morning coffee for two. The room is extremely clean. And the stay was extremely quiet. The latter two points amazed us, because the price point of the hotel is very economical, and as soon as you open the front door, you hear noise from the main strip, businesses on all sides, and residents talking loudly. It's a well-made hotel, but it is a little older. So, for example, I was challenged in taking a bath since the plug no longer stays shut. The WiFi buffers from time-to-time, when using your computer. And the television (DirectTV) didn't work - it was offline when we turned it on right before bed. The front desk agent was happy to send someone to the room to reset it. It was our decision to forgo it, because we were having a lovely quiet evening and didn't really need to watch TV. If we'd arrived a little early (and next time we stay here) we'll walk to the courtyard and sit on one of the beautifully appointed wrought iron patio loveseats, around a fountain and flowers, and enjoy some reading time. And don't miss the complimentary breakfast. The attendant who has a lovely, welcoming personality makes you eggs, bacon, sausage; there's individual bread wrapped in plastic wrap (so, like the cleanliness of the room, it is made to ensure your safety). There is granola and two other healthy cereal options, waffles, bagels and cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fresh coffee with liquid creamers, etc. It's tasty, convenient, and satisfying, and is included in the low price of the room. We can't recommend a motel more. We've stayed in so many, some as costly as $300 a night, and not had a better overall experience.

GGuest UserAlthough the room is not big, it has all the necessary facilities and is very clean and tidy. The style is also unique to the local area. The accommodation experience exceeded expectations and is highly recommended for travelers visiting Santa Fe.
DDongzeqinzhengIt turned out that I booked the room and paid for it on Ctrip. When I checked in, the hotel charged me the room fee again by swiping my credit card.
I asked Ctrip to verify it, and Ctrip helped me contact the hotel to refund the money.
The next day I explained the situation to the hotel. The hotel said it would refund the money.
After two days, the hotel still did not refund the money, so I told Ctrip, and Ctrip refunded me immediately.
The hotel's service is not as good as Ctrip!
GGuest UserWe have stayed at Best Western Discovery Inn twice now within a months time and we have been extremely pleased with our stays. I particularly love the convenience of the 'old' motel style where you have your own individual entry door. This convenience far outweighs dragging your luggage through the lobby and down the endless hallway. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and varied. But the breakfast area was spotless, so well taken care of by the staff. I'm sorry that I didn't get the woman's name that seemed in charge because she obviously took pride in presenting a clean and well stocked amenity for her customers! Lastly, the price was so fair and reasonable. We will remember this hotel for future trips. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!
