"The decor is nice, the environment is good, and there's a constant-temperature swimming pool and free sauna. They also have a kids' play area, which is great for families with children. I booked this for a friend, and their child absolutely loved it. The room doesn't require a key card to keep the power on, which is a nice touch – if the kids are still sleeping in the morning, the adults can take the card to breakfast and the room still has electricity. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so it's not too noisy. If I have friends visiting again, I'll definitely book here."

"If you want to fully explore the Chengde Mountain Resort, then avoid the summer holidays and stay at the Qi Wang Lou. While a bit pricey, it's truly worth it.
It's only a 292-meter walk to the main gate of the resort, and the hotel itself is a historical site. The Qi Wang Lou was built in 1750 and is the sixth of the thirty-six scenic spots named by Emperor Qianlong within the Mountain Resort. With only 57 rooms, it's like staying directly in Emperor Qianlong's grand study. There are even trees personally planted by Qianlong in the courtyard, along with deer, peacocks, and cats kept by the hotel. In the mornings, the deer roam around.
The key is that there are fewer crowds and the scenery is beautiful; it actually feels more like a scenic spot than the crowded main resort. This time, I was with family, so we chose a two-bedroom suite. To my surprise, it was the same type of suite used by dignitaries – spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant both nights, and it was quite good.
Every staff member was kind, friendly, and attentive."

"The hotel is conveniently located right across a small road from the beach. Parking is easy right outside, which is great for popping back to the hotel to grab things or shower. The front desk staff were patient, attentive, and had excellent service. Housekeeping was prompt. Breakfast offered a good variety to satisfy all ages. There are shops, restaurants, and places to buy things all along the street, which is very convenient. A leisurely walk of about 1 kilometer will take you to the Xianluo Island cable car entrance. Highly recommended for a relaxing trip and excellent value for money."

"After a twenty-day trip through Yunnan, I stopped in Shijiazhuang for a night on my way back to Beijing. I booked the Hilton because I was having dinner with a friend at China House on the second floor of the hotel.
The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, so you have to check in there first, and then take another elevator up to the 40-something floor for your room. This back-and-forth can be a bit inconvenient, especially when ordering takeout. You either have to pick it up yourself or wait for hotel staff to deliver it, as external deliveries aren't allowed in, and there don't seem to be any robots either.
Overall, the hotel environment is quite good. Being on a high floor, you get nice city views.
The toilet in the room isn't automatic.
The shower water pressure was good, and the room was quite spacious.
All the drinks and water in the fridge are chargeable. There's a 600 RMB deposit required per room upon check-in, which is refunded to your original payment method upon checkout. Parking is free in the underground garage.
There's a shopping mall nearby.

The room had fantastic natural light and an unobstructed view. Sitting by the window in the afternoon, watching the autumn breeze rustle the leaves, was so peaceful and therapeutic. "My stay at Jinshi International was absolutely perfect! I especially want to highlight the buffet breakfast and the free shuttle service. The breakfast had a great variety, blending both Chinese and Western options. The local donkey meat pancake and lamb intestine soup were authentic, and they even had low-fat whole grains and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, so I could eat healthily even while on a diet. The dishes were refilled promptly and were clean and fresh. I pre-booked the shuttle to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was waiting on time, actively helping with my luggage. It saved me both hassle and money getting to and from the station. The room was clean, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. All my travel and dining needs were well taken care of. This is my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cangzhou."

The hotel is new, though there's still a slight smell of paint. The rooms are spacious with balconies, and the bedding is comfortable. The layout is smooth. Currently, there's no dedicated breakfast restaurant.
The location is a bit out of the way, more like a development zone. It's very close to the old town; you can drive there for about 10 minutes to get to many restaurants."

"Autumn seaside cycling, checked into Qinhuangdao Marriott Resort! Having vacationed in Qinhuangdao multiple times and compared various well-known hotels, the privacy and sea view from the rooms at Qinhuangdao Marriott Resort are excellent, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Parking is convenient, the infinity pool is very photogenic, and the 'Strawberry Mood' cocktail 🍹 at the bar looks great. The two Ukrainian singers really set the mood.
There's a buffet dinner on weekends, and I must commend the waiter, Li Tianshun. He's handsome and incredibly warm-hearted. When I was lingering at the noodle station, he proactively asked what I wanted and specifically made me a bowl of clear broth noodles. His emotional intelligence is impressive, and his attention to detail is top-notch.

PpowerQiuIt was already noon when we arrived, and the front desk kindly allowed us to check in early. They also prepared the extra bed rail and mineral water we requested. The chaise lounge in the room was incredibly useful for me; my child could play, sleep, and watch TV on it easily.
🍚 Breakfast: For children over 1.2m, there's an extra charge of 40 yuan. The variety was decent, mostly cold cuts or processed sausages for meat, with plenty of carbs, vegetables, and fruits. They also offered a savory milk tea, which was quite good.
🛝 The hotel has a small game room with a mini slide and trampoline, suitable for toddlers. It's a nice touch.
🏊 The pool costs 10 yuan per person for guests, and it's also open to the public. We participated in a promotional event that waived the fee. The changing rooms were clean. The pool isn't huge but sufficient, and there's a small mushroom pool with a higher temperature than the main pool, which was great. My little one had a lot of fun, and you can see the mountains and cable car from outside the pool area, offering nice views.
Areas for improvement:
We stayed on the 3rd floor. There might have been an odor from the sink, and the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, so the air felt stuffy. We kept the windows and doors open, but thankfully, there were no mosquitoes.
Overall, I feel we chose the right hotel. After looking around, it seems much better than the Crowne Plaza.

🏨 This time, we stayed with our child in Block D of Nanshanli Hotel. The 2.4-meter king-size bed was spacious enough. It also came with a sofa, coffee table, and a balcony. The washing machine with a drying function was very practical!
🍴 The hotel has several restaurants, offering a variety of choices from noodle soup, dumplings, stir-fries, to a buffet. The seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday, priced at 298 RMB for a buy-one-get-one-free deal, is worth trying. 🍔 If you don't want to include hotel breakfast or prefer to sleep in, McDonald's on the first floor opens at 9 AM. Also, after 9 PM, the tea restaurant on the first floor offers a special instant noodle supper!
🚠 Just outside the hotel's back door is Cable Car No. 9. Taking it will lead you up the mountain to see the autumn scenery of the ancient Great Wall. 🥾 You can also choose to hike up the mountain via the trail, which is friendly and easy even for beginners, allowing you to leisurely immerse yourself in the autumn colors of the forest. For the descent, you can opt for the unpowered slide car for 150 RMB per person, which is fun!
🚌 The hotel offers a free shuttle bus directly to the town center, though it's only about a ten-minute walk. You can take Cable Car No. 4 up to Thaiwoo Peak to overlook the entire autumn mountain. The town also has a grand circus to watch. ✨ When night falls, there's also a traditional iron-flower performance.
💡 Oh, and the hotel's Deer Island Park ticket is valid for two days after purchase. ”Hi Sen Qi Bing” is available all day, and both support multiple entries, which is super for kids!

The children loved the room's decorations and toys, and anything they needed was promptly delivered after a phone call to the front desk. There were also picture books and building blocks on the first floor for play. One night, I left my phone in the toy area, and as soon as I returned to the room, the front desk called to ask if I had left it behind – a truly thoughtful touch.

YYangRRThis is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

IirukaI almost always stay here when I'm in town. A few times before, I couldn't get into the underground parking because it was full, but this time I finally could. There aren't many spots, and they're separated from the owner's parking by a fence. There are charging stations available. If you park above ground, you'll find charging stations across the street near the restaurants. The hotel service is consistently good, friendly, and attentive. The bedding is on the firmer side; I'm not sure if that's a room type thing or if I just haven't noticed it before. The Lobby Bar coffee included in the Trip.com package only offers iced or hot Americano.

It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

However, there's no air conditioning. When we mentioned it was cold, they promptly brought an electric heater. The breakfast seemed to be shared among several hotels, leading to a crowded environment and difficulty finding a seat, which was a bit disappointing. But the breakfast taste was good. All in all, it's worth the price, and I hope they'll add air conditioning in the future!

GGuest UserDuring the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. When she heard this, Ms. Park comforted me by saying, ”Don't worry, I'll find a way,” grabbing the keys to her electric car and running out. She returned 20 minutes later, sweating and panting, saying, ”The sorting officers had the wrong zoning area. I went halfway through the warehouse with them to find it!” She thought she could get it now, but she frowned again and said, ”The box is too big to fit in the electric car basket. I'm afraid it will be broken on the road. BblablaThe hotel room was clean, and its location within Thaiwoo Ski Town was excellent. The price was also quite good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. The only drawback was that the room was very hot in the summer; it was cold outside but hot inside, and the AC wasn't cooling. Opening the window was an issue because it was noisy at night, and I have severe allergies. Also, the breakfast wasn't great; the fried dough sticks and bread were rock hard, like baguettes. The variety was average for a 4-star hotel. The connecting rooms that Hyatt has an agreement for with Trip.com are quite unique and perfect for a family of three adults and one child, or four adults and one child. It's very suitable for families with kids. My grandpa's room had a problem with the bathroom ventilation system; he could always smell smoke, probably from someone smoking in a room upstairs or downstairs. I'm sure the hotel can improve this. I'd give it a 4-star rating.

PpingguopingThe hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!
