"The location is fantastic, right by the lake, which is the most beautiful spot in Zhengzhou. It's lively at night with stunning views. I loved the lobby; it's stylish and cozy. The JW Marriott brand really delivers. The room was spacious with a great view, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including delicious Hu La Tang (spicy soup) and Rou Jia Mo (meat burger), as well as various noodles. You can even take coffee to go – Marriott is quite generous. The Executive Lounge food was also very good, and the staff were well-trained; we ended up not going out for dinner. Xiao Luo from housekeeping left a handwritten welcome card and folded a heart, which was a lovely touch, thank you. The express service was very prompt, and I appreciated the weather forecast displayed inside the elevator – a thoughtful detail. Lucky at the front desk checked us in quickly; she was efficient and her warm smile was truly welcoming. Ms. Men Jingxue was also very enthusiastic, proactively greeting guests, guiding them to the front desk, and providing information about the hotel facilities and surrounding area. Thank you!"

"I had a very satisfying stay here, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb; Gulou (Drum Tower) is right across the street, and it's incredibly convenient for shopping and visiting the ancient city. The subway station is also close by. I booked a room with a mahjong/card room because I wanted a king-sized bed, and since it was too hot to go out during the day, we spent our time indoors – it even saved us the cost of renting a mahjong room elsewhere. The butler service was also very attentive and responsive to all our requests. The entire guesthouse offers a quiet escape in a bustling area, and it's quite spacious. The decor perfectly embodies a traditional Chinese aesthetic."

"Overall, it was decent. It's located next to the City of David. The reception is on the 7th floor. The first room I was given had a constant noise. After calling the front desk, they sent someone to fix the issue and then moved me to a different room. Breakfast: There was a good variety of food, but I didn't really eat much of it. The pan-fried dumplings were really good, but also incredibly hard; I only ate one. Breakfast only had drinks, 5 types of fruit, pastries, bread, meat, and Hulatang (spicy soup). While it looked like a lot, when it came to eating, it was just okay. It felt like a lot of it was pre-made rather than freshly prepared."

"Came to Xuchang with the kids, and everyone highly recommended this hotel when we were looking for a place to stay. We stayed for two nights, and it was indeed very good. The transportation isn't great; you'll need to take a taxi to get around, or it's more convenient if you're driving. The hotel is very large, and the service is absolutely fantastic – it feels like everyone is really striving to be as good as Pang Dong Lai! If you need anything for your room, a quick call and it's delivered right away. They also bring fresh fruit daily. The staff genuinely treats guests well, not just going through the motions. The only drawback is that the hotel breakfast is just average, and the restaurant is a bit small. During holidays, their capacity seems a bit stretched. Hope they can continue to improve!"

When the window is opened, it is a green tree canopy. I feel very good when I look at it. The children in the hotel room are super large slide room. They like it very much, and they are also intimately equipped with a small tent for children to play. The room is fully equipped with intelligent systems and direct drinking fountains. "This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel."

This hotel was the best choice for our May Day trip to Luoyang! It's right in the heart of the old town, making it convenient to go anywhere. The attentive service was incredibly satisfying! This is truly the 'Pang Dong Lai' (a well-known, high-quality department store) of high-end hotels – the experience was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend all hotels across the country learn from and emulate this one! First off, they offer free pick-up and drop-off from the station! Even if the driver was temporarily unavailable, the hotel would help arrange a taxi and cover the cost. These little details really won me over! The room was super spacious, bright, and didn't feel cramped. The bedding was thoughtfully chosen, and you could even select your own pillow to suit different sleeping preferences – I relaxed instantly as soon as I lay down! Although the facilities are a little old, it didn't affect the experience at all. It was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. Any minor flaws were completely negligible. The breakfast was truly eye-opening, a proper Luoyang food feast! Authentic beef soup was available to our heart's content, and all local specialty snacks were covered. They even had fresh salmon of good quality. It was a perfect blend of Chinese and Western cuisine, offering incredible value for money – you could spend hours just enjoying breakfast! During our stay, we could also order complimentary snacks, pastries, and drinks. They provided warm hospitality and food throughout the day, so we could eat to our heart's content without even leaving the hotel! The staff were gentle and patient, always responsive, and we felt completely pampered throughout our stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Luoyang! I sincerely recommend it!

The room was very nice and matched the pictures very well. The large wardrobe and sofa in the room are very useful. The TV can be projected and can watch many programs. I like it very much! The room is clean and tidy. The hotel staff are very kind and have a great service attitude! The location of the hotel is very good. There is a big park right outside the door and the air is very good. There are subways and buses nearby, and transportation is convenient. The stay experience is perfect, recommended to stay!

Although Dongshan Longyue isn't officially star-rated, my overall stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes. Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

Our stay at Luoyang Banshan Siji Hot Spring Hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Luoyang. The hotel corridors are brand new, and the rooms are fully equipped, offering an extremely high level of comfort. The butler service was exceptionally attentive and responsive, even arranging car services for us, so we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. The infinity pool was the absolute highlight. The views were completely unobstructed, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. Watching the sunset paint the sky crimson in the evening was breathtaking. If you're looking for attentive service and a chance to truly relax amidst nature, this is definitely the top choice in Luoyang. We'll be back!

During your stay, the hotel staff are always smiling and ready to help, making you feel right at home. It is particularly worth mentioning that the hotel's room service is very attentive, the rooms are neat and clean, and the bedding is comfortable and soft. The transportation is also relatively convenient, it is very close to the subway entrance, and there are many restaurants around, which makes me very satisfied. Coming for Zhou Shen's concert, the hotel arranged a concert shuttle service, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel, as an established star-rated property, offered excellent service quality from check-in onward, making the overall experience very comfortable. Of course, the concert shuttle service was the best part; Miss Coco even reminded us to order takeout in advance, and sure enough, when we got back, everyone was eating takeout, hahahaha.

Hygiene: The hygiene was exceptionally poor. I arrived quite late and went straight to bed. The next morning, I woke up with my whole body itching. When I pulled back the covers, I saw a lot of skin flakes at the foot of the bed! It was incredibly dirty. Beneath the scent of the detergent on the sheets, there was a strange, acrid smell. The other bed in the twin room didn't have this issue. The picture shows one large skin flake; I cleaned up the smaller ones myself. I was shocked when I saw it. My exposed skin has been itching for days, even after applying medicine. Two of the complimentary bottled water bottles provided by the hotel were placed on the sink in the bathroom. Given that there were already two bottles on the minibar, why put another two in the bathroom sink? I personally found that a bit unhygienic. I hope the hotel changes the bedsheets for each guest. Service: The front desk staff and other services were quite good. Breakfast: The breakfast selection was rich and varied.
