We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou! The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children. The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property. Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!

Lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very big and comfortable, although the walls are a little thin so can clearly hear people talking. For pet owners: note that the Laomendong pedestrian street is not pet friendly (even though there was no sign at the street that we walked through) but the area behind the hotel was lovely and quiet and great to walk the dog. We could also walk past the old city walls which was beautiful. Parking is nearby and quite convenient.

Exceeded my expectations! This time, I stayed in Building 18, and it truly lives up to its reputation as Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel. I'll definitely be back to try Building 8 next time, or perhaps the newly opened villa area which I've heard good things about. **Environment:** The hotel boasts top-notch scenery within its grounds, making walks very enjoyable. I heard some rooms in Building 18 face the road and a currently under-renovation area, but my room this time had a pretty good view. **Facilities:** The room was well-equipped with premium brands, and everything was well-maintained. It would be even better if there was a bathtub, as I don't necessarily want to go to the complimentary hot springs. The restaurant quality was also excellent. **Service:** Very attentive! They offer 24-hour shuttle service within the grounds. The welcome fruit was of good quality, and they even provided local yogurt. There are also some activities organized by Xiyuan Hotel that you can book and experience, which was a nice touch. **Hygiene:** No issues at all. Even the public restrooms in the lobby were very clean.

The hotel is located right next to the north end of Pingjiang Road, less than 10 minutes walk to the Humble Governor's garden. It's on a bustling street, but once you get in, you don't really hear the noise. It's had to beat the location, unless you prefer to stay in a somewhat quiet area. The manager is very friendly and made me feel welcomed. While I requested a non-smoking room, the first room they gave me had a lingering smell of cigarette - probably from the outside, because all the rooms seem to be non-smoking. I asked for a room change, and he responded immediately without hesitation. The room was basically clean and comfortable. I could see the old roof of the neighbouring buildings, which was an interesting view. Because the rooms are housed in an old building, the facility is not cutting-edge quality: for example, the water pressure is weak, and the air from the A/C had some smell. All in all, the value was good for the price with the substantial discount I had this time through Trip.com.

After getting off the high-speed train, we took the subway to the hotel. I originally planned to take a taxi, but the hotel called and said there would be traffic jams. We chose the nearest subway exit, but there was no elevator, and my friend nearly collapsed carrying a super heavy suitcase. We had to take an elevator up to the hotel lobby, which was on some high floor (20s or 40s, I forget). After checking in, we had to turn a corner and take another elevator to go up further – quite a hassle. When I placed the order, I left a note asking not to have a corner room close to the elevator. Well, we didn't get a corner room, as the hotel is circular, but we ended up with the room furthest from the elevator. The air conditioning in the room was also broken; it blew hot air for ages when set to cool, leaving me sweating. Honestly, I wanted to give three stars based on the experience, but the AC repair technician and the cleaning lady earned you an extra star. At the time, I had bought a lot of fruit, thinking I wouldn't finish it all and it would spoil by the next day, so I set some aside, hoping the repair technician would take it. However, he firmly refused, saying it was his job and they couldn't take anything from guests. It was just a few strawberries, really. He fixed the AC quite quickly, and it worked perfectly afterward. The cleaning lady also did a great job; I really loved the verbena hand soap. I left a note asking if she could give us a few extra bars, and not only was her reply amusing, but she also left us seven or eight bars – I was so happy! The hotel's location is good, very close to Fuguo Street and Golden Eagle Plaza, making shopping very convenient. It's just that the lobby being halfway up the building is really inconvenient. Also, the windows were so dirty, which was a shame for such large windows, as it made taking good photos in the room impossible.

The hotel is located right by the Qinhuai River, on a very quiet street, so it's not noisy at all. It's less than a 10-minute walk to Laomendong, and just 5 minutes in the other direction to the Grand Bao'en Temple. You can even see the temple from the terrace, and it lights up beautifully at night! There's no elevator, but the front desk staff are happy to help with luggage, so no worries there. The toilet is smart, and the shower space is just right. Overall, it offers great value for money.

Facilities: The overall facilities in the room are quite new; it doesn't feel like an old hotel. The bathroom has a separate sliding door and is separated from the bed by a wall, which provides good sound insulation and privacy. There's a full-length mirror. The hairdryer is very powerful. Service: During the May Day holiday, they offered a short fireworks display in the evening, which was very impressive and significantly enhanced our stay. The greeters at the main entrance were very welcoming and helpful with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a buffet with a rich variety of dishes. Environment: The hotel's public areas are very beautiful and upscale. There are also accompanying dining options, which is convenient. The front desk mentioned that Jichangxuan (a restaurant) requires guests to queue in person, but it would be better if in-house guests could make phone reservations. Drawbacks: ① The shower water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. While it didn't cause a major issue, it was definitely present. ② The room doors are quite heavy, and opening and closing them makes a loud noise, so you can hear other rooms' doors. ③ The disposable slippers were of average quality, with thin soles that weren't non-slip. Every time I stepped onto the small ledge in the bathroom, it was uncomfortable.

Came to Suzhou for the 'three-piece beauty treatment' and found this hotel, which is closest to Xiao Jia Xiang A'er Hair Salon. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The room was spotless, facilities were great, and the bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable. While the breakfast selection isn't as extensive as a five-star hotel, it has everything you need and tastes good. The service from Hua Hai was attentive and deserves praise. It's right next to the subway, and there are many local eateries within walking distance. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time – excellent value for money!

If I had to describe this hotel in four words, it would be: “Always Ready to Help.” After checking in, guests are assigned a dedicated WeChat contact, making it easy to communicate any requests or questions directly with the hotel. The customer service manager responds very quickly and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort and overall experience. Any issues, big or small, are handled efficiently, giving you a true sense that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The hotel offers complimentary laundry and drying facilities, a gym, and a modern, stylish design throughout the property. Upon arrival, the staff helped us with our luggage, and after check-in, our bags were delivered directly to our room free of charge. Such thoughtful service made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast mainly consists of Chinese-style dishes, with Suzhou-style noodles being a special highlight. My favorite part of the stay was the complimentary Hanfu experience! There were many beautiful outfits to choose from, and each set could be worn for up to two hours. Guests are even allowed to wear them outside for sightseeing and photos. My mother and I changed into two different Hanfu outfits during our stay, and it was a wonderful experience. A special thank you to the customer service manager for taking such great care of us, for the fruit platter, and for upgrading us to a room with a bathtub. The room was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. Even the television could be adjusted and rotated for better viewing from different angles. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The hotel provides disposable hygiene covers for both the toilet seat and bathtub, giving guests extra peace of mind. The entire property has a charming artistic atmosphere, and there is even a cozy reading corner near the laundry room where guests can relax with a book. The location is another major advantage. There are plenty of restaurants and food options right downstairs, making the area lively and convenient. Most attractions are only about 10 minutes away by car, with Didi rides typically costing just RMB 8–10. The high-speed rail station is also within a 15-minute drive. If you have not planned your itinerary yet, the hotel can recommend local tours and travel packages as well. They also provide parcel collection services, carefully storing your deliveries until you arrive to collect them. ANDU Hotel truly puts guest experience first. Highly recommended! 👍

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service! We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.
