This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is.
The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews.
The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk.
Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan.
This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Harbin, and I must say the facilities and service were top-notch. The bed, as always, was incredibly comfortable – I slept wonderfully. The rooftop bar at night had a great ambiance, offering fantastic views of Harbin's night cityscape and the river. The breakfast was a rich mix of Chinese and Western options, with plenty of variety. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, often striking up conversations with me. My holiday experience was excellent! I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Excellent! Great location, right on Central Street. The service was fantastic, and the hotel environment and design are beautiful. We arrived early, and they let us check in ahead of time. They offer afternoon tea and breakfast, both of which were great. They even gave us a souvenir when we left! If I get the chance to visit Harbin again, I'll definitely stay here! ✌

The room facilities are top-notch and impeccably clean, which put me at ease. The front desk staff were professional, escorting guests to their rooms and meticulously demonstrating how to use various amenities – truly thoughtful and attentive. Service was prompt whenever called upon, and the parking attendant outside proactively helped with luggage, all with a friendly demeanor. The hotel's afternoon tea was exquisite, and the ambiance was cozy (as pictured). The location is superb, making it very convenient to get around by taxi, subway, or even walk to Central Street. Overall, the hotel genuinely felt like a home away from home. I'll definitely be back.

Honestly, I'm a bit reluctant to give a good review because the Executive Lounge here is just so subpar right now. And the loud noise in the morning was really annoying, though the duty manager did apologize and offered juice, a small gift, and a cute little tiger plushie, so I guess I'll let it go. Maybe it's the off-season, or they're cutting costs and boosting efficiency. But frankly, the Executive Lounge in Shenyang, also in the Northeast, was much better. I hope Harbin can really step up its game.

After staying here, I feel it's worth writing a few words. Before choosing this hotel, I actually hesitated a bit. A five-diamond rating paired with a relatively low price made me a little unsure. After one night, I realized my worries were unfounded. This hotel fully lives up to its five-diamond standard, paying extreme attention to customer privacy and etiquette. It's truly a luxurious yet cost-effective choice.
The room was thoughtfully arranged; I was particularly impressed by the vase on the table. My first impression upon entering was cleanliness and brightness. A front desk attendant helped introduce the room and carry my luggage. The central air conditioning and central boiler system operated quietly, maintaining a comfortable room temperature. The shower pressure was stable, without the common hot-and-cold fluctuations found in older hotels. On the nightstand, there was a capsule coffee machine. Waking up in the morning, I'd press a button and leisurely stand by the window while waiting for the coffee – a truly relaxing moment. The bathroom was equipped with a smart bidet toilet, which was a pleasant surprise at this price point. The heated seat was very friendly for those with hemorrhoids, showing great attention to detail.
Regarding dining, the room rate included a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea. The breakfast variety wasn't extravagant, but it had everything necessary – a choice of Chinese or Western set meal, fried rice, bread, fruit, salad, and beverages. The quality of vegetables and fruits was guaranteed, as shown in picture one, indicating excellent quality control. It was a satisfying meal. The afternoon tea was complimentary; enjoying a cup of tea with a couple of pastries and cookies during a break was neither perfunctory nor half-hearted. Overall, the price, including these two meals, offered genuine value for money.
Service was a major highlight, especially for a five-diamond hotel. The front desk staff left a deep impression. From check-in to asking questions later, their demeanor was consistently gentle and patient. They kindly inquired about your needs; it wasn't a standard, trained smile, but rather a feeling that they were genuinely listening to you. They helped carry luggage all the way to the room and then thoroughly introduced the room's furnishings, explaining everything meticulously. While I don't know the staff member's name, I believe most of the service personnel exhibit such excellent attitudes.
Solid hardware, warm service, and reasonable prices. There weren't any over-the-top experiences, but every detail made you feel that the money was well spent. If your budget falls within this range, it offers excellent value for money. This hotel is also not far from the exhibition center, making it worth a try.

My stay at the Wanda Realm Qiqihar was absolutely fantastic! The butler service was incredibly attentive, and my room was spacious, clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. The hygiene was top-notch, and I even loved the robot delivery service for items. Being right next to Wanda Plaza made getting around super convenient. The pool and gym facilities were excellent, and the breakfast spread was delicious. I felt right at home throughout my entire stay. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I'm in Qiqihar!

This hotel, over a century old, boasts a rich historical ambiance with its Tsarist Russian court design. The lobby is resplendent and dazzling, featuring crystal chandeliers, oil paintings, wine cabinets, and an ornate wrought-iron garden, all showcasing the luxury of the Russian aristocracy. I even donned a 19th-century outfit to experience what it felt like to be a Countess.
The hotel service was impeccable. Upon check-in, someone immediately guided us on a tour and provided explanations, including a ride in the century-old elevator. Our luggage was delivered directly to our room, and they were incredibly accommodating, helping us take photos in the court costumes without any hesitation. When we checked out, they even brought our bags to the car – truly doorstep service, highly commendable!
This is a highly recommended hotel that is well worth experiencing.

All-day soft drinks and snacks buffet for two: Didn't get to use it. Renovations started at 5:30 PM.
Light meal starting at 5 PM.
Happy Hour exquisite light meal buffet for two: It was pretty good, the service staff were genuinely excellent and attentive. They were always on the lookout for guests' needs.
Service: All the service staff were very thoughtful. Housekeeping even did a simple room setup for us. I'm very grateful for their attentive help. The housekeeping department and the two dignified and elegant ladies on the 15th floor provided a lot of thoughtful assistance, for which I am very thankful. The room they arranged also had a great view. Very satisfied with the service.
Facilities: It's a family-friendly hotel, but none of the kids' facilities were available. I originally brought my child precisely because I wanted them to have a place to go. Turns out, none of it was accessible.
I was looking for an executive lounge so adults could work, but it was also unavailable/closed.
If I had known, I would have just booked a family room.
The service was great. It's just a shame so many things weren't available for use.

Staying at New Paris Hotel was a perfect experience [strong]! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by a subway station, making it super convenient to get to Central Street, nearby shopping areas, and really, anywhere you want to go 🚗. The hotel's decor is European retro, giving off a grand and elegant vibe, and the crystal chandeliers in the lobby create an amazing atmosphere [sun]. Our room was clean and spacious. The buffet restaurant had a rich variety of options, from barbecue and seafood to crayfish – it felt like a feast 🦞. Plus, there were plenty of desserts, all fresh and delicious, and the dining environment was very comfortable 🍰. The service was thoughtful and attentive. It truly was a one-stop, worry-free experience for travel, dining, and accommodation. This is definitely my top choice for staying in Harbin!

NNiutou™The Yabuli Yabuluoni Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the ski resort, offering incredibly convenient ski-in/ski-out access directly to the slopes and lifts. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer expansive views; you can enjoy the snow scenery right from your window. The facilities are comprehensive, with ski rental and dining all available in one spot. The service is enthusiastic and responsive, and it offers great value for money. It's truly the top choice for a ski holiday; we had a comfortable and worry-free stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!
MMiwa627Among the 5-star hotels in Harbin, I chose this one, which is the newest, and I wasn't disappointed upon arrival. The facilities are new and very clean, and the hotel staff are very enthusiastic. If you order takeout, a robot delivers it to your room. It's quite close to the airport, only a 30-minute ride. The only thing to consider is that the location is a bit out of the way, a little further from the main tourist attractions.

HHKESKENThe concierge was very helpful with our luggage. The staff we met in the hallways were also very friendly and greeted us warmly. They have freshly ground coffee for both breakfast and afternoon tea. The hotel doesn't require a deposit, and check-out was super quick. The location is absolutely fantastic (YYDS)! It's really close to all the popular tourist spots and attractions. The hotel environment is also great. Thumbs up!

AAnonymous UserThe ground floor greeter was very friendly and proactively helped with my luggage. The breakfast was excellent, offering Evenki milk tea and freshly made dumplings, a better experience than what I had at the Ritz-Carlton Fuli. The hotel lobby is on the 42nd floor, so you have to transfer elevators at the 42nd floor to get to and from the rooms. The hotel is located in a commercial area, which makes dining and getting around a bit inconvenient. It's fine if you're on a business trip and don't plan on going out much. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

QQiqipengpengThe room was spacious and generally clean. It was very soundproof with good ventilation, and there were no strange odors. The breakfast selection was rich, comparable to Wanda Vista. The hot springs offered a good variety of pools, and the water quality was excellent with no unpleasant smells. On Children's Day, kids under 1.5 meters were free, which was a fantastic bonus! The staff were very enthusiastic, and both check-in and check-out were quick.
