5-Star Hotels in Hong Kong, China

The location is excellent as it is linked to MTR and several shopping malls. We have no lack of food choices. There is a direct bus service (A31) from the airport that terminates next to the hotel. However, there are a few drawbacks 1. There is no ramp from the rear door from the bus terminal to the hotel. There are a few steps. This could be replaced by a gentle ramp. I believe that the ramp was in the original plan but not properly constructed. This could easily be rectified. 2. For the room type that I picked, there is a large glass that divides the bathroom from the room. However, when the toilet was used at night, the light shone into the room. 3. There is a motion sensor light outside the toilet, and it can not be turned off. 4. Some unknown insects bit me and my daughter. 5. Some parts of the building need maintenance. See the lift door picture that shows the rust on the doors.

Perfect place to stay for a short trip to Hong Kong. The hotel is very comfortable, with light blocking curtains, good sound proofing and. TheEasy access to and from the airport.

This hotel is old, with walking distance to beaches, supermarkets and a dozen restaurants. Everything else needs transportation. Expect a lot of walking if you want to explore anything other than the hotel. The front desk service is ok. If you want anything done, you need to reach out to the manager. Only stay here if you want to enjoy the hotel and nearby amenities, the location is not convenient.

The hotel located at the Airport. Services from staff are good. The bed is not too comfortable for us and the bathroom is a bit old (I think it's needed to be renovated). At night, Showering sounds and flushing sounds from the next door is annoying LOUD. For breakfast, honestly, I had better in other hotels. I'm wondering why Hotel shuttle bus leave to Tung Chung MTR station every hour instead of every half an hour like other hotels (ex. Marriott or Fourpoint Sheration...). Anyway the best thing for this hotel is you can hardly miss your flight as it is only 5-mins walk to Airport departure hall.

We had a pleasant one-night stay at Royal Plaza Hotel as a family. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located, making it a convenient base for our short trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the high-quality amenities. The beds were comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for us to rest. The location is excellent, being directly connected to the MOKO shopping mall, which offered easy access to shopping and dining. The hotel’s proximity to public transport also made it easy to get around Hong Kong. However, one downside was the noisy air conditioning in our room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at times. The noise was a bit distracting, which took away from an otherwise pleasant stay. Additionally, while the hotel offers a lot of great features, we did feel it might not be the most kid-friendly option, as there weren’t many child-focused amenities or activities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and Royal Plaza Hotel is a solid choice for a family looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel. Just be aware of the aircon noise and consider other options if you're traveling with younger children.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my wife and toddler son. Location was superb, so convenient. The hotel is connected to the famous Popcorn Mall and TKO MTR station. Lots of shopping, food, breakfast, and supermarkets nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate your needs. The communication between front desk and concierge was also efficient. They dealt with room changes in a smooth and fast manner. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was huge by HK standards, and the rain shower was refreshing. I think the housekeeping team could have done a better job cleaning the room and replacing the towels. I could not give their service 5 stars because in my experience staying at 5 star hotels, if your clothes are scattered on the bed for instance, or toothbrush is out, the housekeepers generally fold and put things back in an organized manner. The breakfast had both western and cantonese options, all being decent. The service at breakfast was nothing special at all (considering they were not busy either) so there was no excuse. When you are seated down for breakfast, the waiters should ask weather you would like coffee/tea and bring it to your table. Did not happen. You can order customized eggs, but no one brings it to your table surprisingly. What sets a 5 star hotel apart from others is all about the service. Some departments had better service than the others, so the consistency across the different departments is not aligned. I actually don't mind coming back to this hotel again, however the service should be improved.

Hopewell is a brand new hotel, the view is breathtaking and I love it. Staffs are friendly and helpful, I have 3 large luggages and one staff member helped me from level 17 to level 19. On the day when I check out, it was early morning and the lift was locked, one staff member helped me to take the escalator and went down to level 17 to get my taxi, thanks a lot! Unfortunately the location is bit different to access, and no room service yet and the swimming pool is not ready. Surrounding area is excellent, close to MTR, many local shops around and I believe overtime, all the teething issue will go away!

Very cozy room - a two single-bed room with a sofa bed to accomodate three people. Checked in late but checked out very early in the morning. The fast checkout （leaving key in the room）really saves some time as we don't need to visit the front desk again.
