Courtyard by Marriott Nanjing Jiangning
4.7/5495 Reviews
Yuhuatai Nanjing South Railway Station Area
It was my first time staying at this hotel. As a Marriott brand, it was pretty good overall. I experienced the lounge dinner with my friends. It was very warm and the service was good. They specially prepared a welcome card, which was a little surprise. Thanks to the lounge team Sheila Alan Ling and Yuriy for their hard work. I recommend staying here!
Yiman Hotel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Scenic Area)
4.7/51289 Reviews
Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street
Pros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didn’t finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.
Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town

Science and Technology City/High-tech Zone Sports
Now, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here. Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around. In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room. When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture? Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc. Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us. These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.
Zhouzhuang Life Inn

In Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
The inn is located in the ancient town's cultural street, with complete surrounding facilities and convenient transportation. The room is clean and well-lit, the service is thoughtful, the latex mattress is neither soft nor hard, and it is very comfortable to sleep
Novotel Nanjing Central Suning
4.6/57214 Reviews
Xinjiekou Area/Presidential Palace
Stayed here 4 times in 2024. Everything is good. Front desk staff need to improve. We were urgent to check in the rooms and they were chatting while processing. During this stay there were some minor renovations on our floor outside our rooms. To be fair the hotel should close off the floor. Otherwise all is very good.

Amazing stay for 3 nights! Extremely clean, tidy and well maintained. Well mannered, attentive to detail and respectful conceige & house keeping staff. Especially Zhang Wei & Han Wen who helped us greatly. They made our stay feel safe & secured. Will recommend anyone coming to Nanjing to stay here. A short 7-10 mins stroll to the main area of xinkiekou. 5 stars!
Baijin Hanjue Hotel
4.7/56924 Reviews
Xu Zhuang Software Park/Xianlin University City
Hotel was very good for the area and good value for money. Key benefit was the all day dining cooked fresh in front of you. Only disappointment was that room had no window despite me booking a city view. Hotel had a kind of Las Vegas feel to it.
Orange Hotel (Kunshan Vientiane Hui Branch)
4.8/51314 Reviews
Downtown Kunshan
The room has floor-to-ceiling windows, which is a bit amazing. It is a brand new hotel. Compared with other orange hotels, it is very good. The facilities and hygiene are in good condition and smart. There are many TV choices. The restaurant has a great view.
Suzhou Citadines Xinghai Apartment Hotel
4.6/5445 Reviews
West of Suzhou Industrial Park/Suchow Center
This was my go to hotel in Suzhou for location and price. The room facilities are excellent - with a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are not modern but have a dated charm - there is also a window in the bathroom and a bathtub for those that like a soak. The breakfast is above average. My one complaint AND IT'S A BIG ONE! In the executive studios the bathroom doors have been wedged open - this is clearly a privacy issue but also the kitchen is next to the bathroom. No-one wants to stare at a toilet while they are cooking lunch. What were the management thinking - ruining a perfectly good room! A couple of stars knocked off until that issue is sorted!
