We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

The hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!

This hotel is right next to the beautiful Songhua River, so the location is fantastic. Subway Lines 2 and 3 are directly downstairs, making it super convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were really welcoming; they upgraded us to a king-size room for free and gave us detailed information about local tours and things to watch out for. The concierge ladies were always smiling and patiently helped guests adjust dresses and take photos. There's a free afternoon tea with a good variety of options. The security staff, who charmingly announced 'Princess, your carriage awaits,' were very proactive in assisting guests, offering thoughtful care and help. Overall, our stay was a truly wonderful experience.

The Grand Mercure Harbin Sophia Church is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the rooms are really comfortable. It's an excellent choice for business travelers and families on vacation. Thumbs up for the great service! I highly recommend staying here!

I stayed for 3 nights, and I definitely picked the right hotel. It's less than a 10-minute walk to Central Street. Since it was off-season, there weren't many people, and the room rate was quite appealing. They even upgraded us for free. The hotel looks pretty new, and the cleanliness is spot on. Soundproofing was also decent. Our room had an inner window overlooking a nicely designed landscape, which was a lovely touch and added to the ambiance. The hotel hallways also had pleasant and cozy landscaping. We didn't book breakfast with our room, but later found out their breakfast area also had a good atmosphere. Extremely satisfied with our stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Central Street and Metro Line 3, making it easy to get to the high-speed rail station and other places. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. They also offer afternoon tea, coffee, and lemon water – it was so refreshing to have a drink after coming back to the hotel. They even provide special slippers and toothbrushes for children. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit!

This time, I visited Harbin with my mother and chose the Ocean Ritz Hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied. The location is excellent; we could walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street, which made sightseeing very convenient. The room was clean, and the decor had a great Russian ambiance. The service was warm and attentive, and the facilities were complete. It's a perfect place to stay when traveling with your mother, offering peace of mind and comfort. Highly recommended!

Let's start with the positives: The hotel's decor is very unique, and the rooms are spacious. There's a hotel cable car that goes directly across the river, making it very close to Central Street, and the cable car views are fantastic. The hotel is right by the river, with a small sandy beach where you can play in the water. The hotel is located within Sun Island Scenic Area, so it's very close to the Panda House. Now for the negatives: The heating is very poor; there's no underfloor heating, and the air conditioning doesn't produce heat. The front desk provided a space heater, but the room is quite large, so it couldn't warm it up at all. Hot water also takes a long time to come through; you have to run the water for several minutes before it gets hot, which essentially makes showering impossible. The breakfast is very basic, and the dining area is even colder than the rooms. I'd recommend not having breakfast at the hotel. The hotel requires entry through a mall entrance, and the mall closes at 9 PM. So, if you want to go out or return after 9 PM, you need to call the front desk to open the door. Since the hotel is inside the Sun Island Scenic Area, when taking a taxi into the area, you have to shout to the park security, ”I'm a guest at [hotel name]” to be allowed in. Also, when ordering a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the hotel, you need to register the Didi car's license plate number at the front desk for the car to be able to drive from the park entrance to the hotel. The above is for your reference. The front desk service was very attentive, and even though there were some issues with the facilities, the front desk staff were helpful in resolving them. I believe the experience would be better during peak tourist season.

The hotel has some pros and cons. The pros: 1. The location of the hotel is superb, Right on the Northern side of zhongyangdajie. 2. The gym is adequate, it has good strength training options. Unfortunately the AC doesn't work in the room itself. 3. The staff was happy to allow us a late checkout. The cons: 1. The entrance to the hotel does not have a ramp to go up with the luggage so one must lift it over the stairs into the lobby. I didn't expect that in a 4 star hotel. 2. I've made a reservation for a non smoking room, away from the elevator but got a room with smoke smell, close to the elevator. The staff showed me 3 more rooms but the first two also had smoke smell. Finally we got a room without smell and far from the elevator. 3. The breakfast, in my humble opinion, was subpar. Not too many western options. 4. The hotel doesn't look clean. The surroundings of the elevator need more work. All in all I was a bit disappointed, considering the price.

Carved solid wood furniture and velvet curtains add to the charm, while amenities like underfloor heating, capsule coffee machines, and high-end bathroom products ensure a superb stay. The hotel skillfully blends the historical essence of the old building with excellent living comfort, making for a wonderful resting experience. The hotel service was attentive and thoughtful, with butler-style reception making us feel exceptionally welcome. They also offer a complimentary Russian costume experience, perfect for taking great photos. The breakfast at the underground wine cellar restaurant was of high quality, offering both authentic Russian delicacies and Chinese dishes, with a rich variety and a stylish dining environment. Overall, this is not just a hotel, but more like a small historical museum. It allows you to experience the hundred-year history and charm of Harbin while offering an excellent location and meticulous service. It's highly recommended for anyone visiting Harbin.
