I stayed at Tianyuan Jingyi Hotel during my layover to my trip to Almaty. In general, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated right inside the airport. There is no need to exit the airport at all. After arrivals you can see the signs, walking around 10 min you are at the hotel.
The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities.
Breakfast is included mostly Chinese and a few western options.
Overall, it is great value for money and a good hotel for a layover.
Upon check-in, we received complimentary souvenirs and milk tea. The room was very clean and hygienic. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions, with a park right across the street. It's also within walking distance of the old town night market, where the evening performances are lively and plentiful. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly, and they even offer free airport shuttle service! Thumbs up!

Overall, the hotel experience was fantastic! 🎉 The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was super comfortable, especially the latex pillow which made for a really sound sleep. The electric curtains were a nice touch for convenience. The front desk also thoughtfully provided breakfast, which had a great variety and delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the local yogurt and dried fruits, they were very unique. Compared to guesthouses, chain hotels definitely have a much higher standard when it comes to cleanliness and facilities.

The hotel is located right on Minjie Street, incredibly close to Jinquan Shopping Mall – just a 2-minute walk. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar pedestrian street. You can't park directly in front of the hotel, but there's a convenient underground parking garage. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast is plentiful. It might be due to the May Day holiday rush, but the service during my stay on May 4th felt a bit less attentive than when I stayed on April 25th, over a week prior. For instance, they didn't contact me beforehand to guide me to the underground parking, and there were no soft drinks in the room. However, overall service quality is still quite good. It's understandable that they were busy and fully booked during the holiday.
Environment: The exterior view is stunning, giving off a distinct Silk Road vibe. It looks especially beautiful from the outside.
Facilities: Everything is well-equipped, including a free laundry room, a tea house, and a cafe.
Hygiene: The cleanliness is excellent. It's one of the cleanest guesthouses in Turpan.
Service: The front desk ladies provide great service, and the staff are all wonderful. Definitely worth a visit!
The Hampton by Hilton boasts excellent facilities and is incredibly clean. The environment is elegant and the hotel is centrally located in Gaochang, Turpan, making it very convenient to get around. What truly sets this hotel apart is their outstanding service. Every day, small gifts are delivered to the room, and the room itself is meticulously cleaned. From the moment we stepped in, all the staff greeted us warmly. A special shout-out to Gulimirana at the front desk, who even gave us a special May Day gift from the hotel. I must also emphasize how fantastic the breakfast at Hampton by Hilton is! There's a wide variety of dishes, truly something for everyone. All in all, this trip left us with a deep impression, and we'll definitely be staying at the Hampton by Hilton again on our next visit to Turpan.
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It's right in front of the snowy mountains and grasslands, an absolutely fantastic location super close to the scenic area. The room was clean, the details were thoughtfully taken care of, and the service was attentive and thorough. A perfect experience, highly recommend!
Hotel Don Brashuberis Experience
The experience of staying at the Tangbra Shuboris Hotel is great! The room is clean and tidy as a whole, the layout is warm and comfortable, and the living is particularly relaxing. The exclusive butler service is intimate and thoughtful, and you can respond in time if you need it, meticulous and warm. The scenery outside the window of the room is excellent, and you can see the vast grassland and the continuous snow-capped mountains by pushing the window. Between the Baili Gallery, the eyes are full of natural scenery of healing. The environment is quiet and beautiful, the service is intimate, and the accommodation is comfortable. It is a great choice for travel and accommodation in Tangbula. It is very recommended!

I usually expect a certain standard from Hyatt hotels, but this one was quite a letdown. Let's start with the positives: the design is great, and the staff were genuinely nice. They even gave me several drink vouchers due to an issue with my room. The coffee was decent, and impressively, they still honored my unused coffee vouchers two days later – that's a nice touch. However, good service isn't just about good attitudes, as I experienced firsthand.
Here are a few examples:
1) My reserved room wasn't available. They claimed to upgrade me to a suite (room 306?), but after waiting nearly an hour and a half, the 'suite' turned out to have only a narrow window squeezed between two buildings. Whether or not it was a genuine upgrade, they should have at least informed me about the room's specifics upfront.
2) I then moved to a room in building 6. It seemed freshly renovated. The small, broken window was one thing, but the smell was incredibly strong, and the bathroom had a terrible sewer odor. The combination of these smells was truly awful. I was in a hurry to get out, so I just put up with it, not wanting more hassle.
3) I turned on the humidifier, and when I returned, the room was enveloped in a dense mist. I actually thought something was burning... I have no idea why this happened; I've never encountered anything like it with humidifiers at home or in other hotels.
4) The electrical outlet on the right-hand bedside table was completely broken. Neither plugs nor charging cables would go in! This was ridiculous.
I'm usually quite lazy and rarely write such detailed reviews. I typically give five stars if a place is even remotely acceptable, but this experience was truly intolerable. I hope the hotel makes significant improvements. P.S. Kashgar itself is a lot of fun!

Good
The hotel next to the visitor center of Nalati Scenic Area is very convenient for me who don't drive. The room is OK. I thought that the service of this kind of state-owned hotel would not be good, but it exceeded my expectations. The service is very good, and there is also a concierge service. The girl at the front desk, Aria, is very enthusiastic, careful, and polite. It is very pleasant to communicate with her. The cleaning lady is also very good. The room is clean and the items that need to be replenished are delivered in time. There are many hotels and homestays in Nalati. After all, this one is a group hotel with standardized management and other aspects, and the price is moderate, with a high cost performance. You can come back to rest after playing in the scenic area in the morning, and it is very convenient to enter the scenic area in the afternoon. The room can see the scenery.

A Technological Gem in Tashkurgan I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wanda Moment in Tashkurgan, and I can confidently say it’s the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! This hotel truly embraces high technology while providing exceptional comfort and cleanliness. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-equipped facilities. The gym and billiards room were fantastic, and the laundry facilities made my stay even more convenient. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. One standout feature was the attention to guest comfort. The room was equipped with an oxygen machine and a humidifier, which was a thoughtful touch given the dry climate in the area. However, I did notice that there was no air conditioning, just heating. I highly recommend opening the window to let in some fresh air; it made a significant difference in my comfort level. Overall, Wanda Moment is a remarkable hotel that exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return!
The hotel boasts a luxurious exterior design. The lobby is spacious and brightly lit upon entry, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our room had a faint, pleasant aroma. The vanity area was surprisingly stylish, almost like a trendy KTV lounge, which I found quite impressive. Thumbs up! Parking was convenient, thanks to the underground garage. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining options, a supermarket, a museum, and a stadium nearby. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
Although from outside the hotel does not present an attractive face, the room was very nice and the very plain small lobby very friendly and efficient. Hotel location is however excellent being less than ten minutes from metro station and one stop from Grand Bazaar, where there is so much to see, do and eat. I went there every night! Unfortunately the metro does not yet go to the main Urumqi fast train station (I arrived from Turpan) even though station signs point to the metro station it is not yet open. It was though very easy to reach the airport by metro in 45 minutes. I found that the best way to get to the excellent Xinjiang Museum is to take metro four stops to Nanhu Square, and after enjoying Nanhu Lake Park, get a taxi / Didi to the Museum. It takes 15 minutes and costs about ¥20/25. The museum is free and I did not need to queue or pre-book for a ticket. There is no power switch inside the door where usually you place your key card. So not clear how to cut off room electricity when leaving unless firmest switch off in more than ten switches around the room! Bed was very large and comfortable and huge TV had all the channels…once you discover that - among the many light switches on both sides of the bed - there is one labelled TV and without this neither of the two remotes will switch on the TV! The shower was a little out of date but effective, though the hot water was not really that hot. The breakfast on the top floor was a really good Chinese buffet although coffee was from a machine and very average. One morning fresh wanton were prepared by a chef.
The receptionist, Azi, provided excellent service. The hotel's location is superb; it's right across the street from the Uyghur Hospital where you can buy local medicines, and a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, then to Consulate Lane, and finally back to the hotel via Hotan Second Street. There's also a food street next to the hotel, so you won't get hungry in the evening. The cleanliness and room experience were also good; highly recommended.
It's 16km from urumqi town. Good for transit as it's near to airport with free airport transfers. Need to reserve the airport pick-up a day before arrival and clarify regarding the location for pick-up in the airport. Urumqi airport is huge. I was confused with pick-up location, went to arrival gates instead of departure gate where the hotel pick-up was. Otherwise, the breakfast was great with many choices. There are lots of restaurants and small night market around hotel for meals
The hotel is so modern and comfortable 😊 the room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. There is also free laundry facilities. Every night you can order a warm foot bath which was really good after walking around in the cold. The staff are really helpful and professional! The hotel is in a quiet area but is very convenient to the Bazaar and there’s lots of places to eat nearby.
