Slightly rustic by North American standards, but clean and comfortable. Elevators were very small and very slow based on the capacity of the hotel. A bit isolated from shopping and other amenities. You definitely need a car or arrange your transportation if staying there. Nice beach nearby within walking distance. Good breakfast and facilities like pool, spa and massage. Staff were polite, but when we complained about a noisy heater fan in our room, their solution was to simply turn if off instead of fixing it. Not a bad experience overall. It is a very quiet and relaxing area.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and fresh with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was soft, so I slept very soundly. The soundproofing was excellent too. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and their service was quick to respond. The location is convenient for getting around, and it offers superb value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended!

VIP Hotel is an absolute gem for value for money. For 800 yuan, you get a room that accommodates four people, and it's spacious! It even has a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, and plates. We even made delicious dumplings here. It would have been perfect if there was also a kettle. We stayed for three nights, and the front desk kindly agreed to a 1.5-hour late check-out, which was very accommodating, unlike hotels in Madrid that would charge extra. There are two Japanese ramen restaurants and two small supermarkets within a 2-minute walk, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Avenida da Liberdade. Taxis in Lisbon are relatively inexpensive; it cost 30 Euros by taxi to Cabo da Roca (I highly recommend this attraction, it's the westernmost point of continental Europe, where the land ends and the sea begins). It's 10-15 Euros by taxi from Terminal 1 at the airport. Bolt or Uber work great (try to avoid regular taxis, as they tend to overcharge and not use meters; I was overcharged by 15 Euros on my ride from the airport to the hotel. I later realized that the Uber pick-up point at Lisbon Airport is closer and more convenient than the taxi stand, which makes sense to reduce the chances of foreign tourists being scammed by taxis). Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
The hotel was clean and the service was nice.
However, I leave two recommendations that could improve the experience considerably: the application of blackout curtains in the rooms, because those currently in place leave a lot of light; and the addition of more channels in TV, Because it has only the normal channels at this moment.

The hotel is a little over a kilometer downhill from the old town. While it's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, both the bus and metro stations aren't too far, and the surrounding area is very quiet. Taxis are also cheap and convenient.
The young front desk staff were all very warm and welcoming; anything we needed was brought up right away.
Every night at 10 PM, the hotel has a 15-minute light show featuring many of Lisbon's sights. I missed it the first night, but I made an effort to watch it the second night, and it was quite interesting.

I liked the Czar Lisbon Hotel. There are several eateries and supermarkets near the hotel. I could stock up on water and other essential stuff.
It is also easy to hire Uber. Burger King and pharmacy is just opposite the hotel. Hotel also provided the travel adapter upon request.
Hotel has a restaurant on the same level as the reception with a wide variety of food in the menu.
The toilet is nice and huge for two.

I stayed in an executive room for four days, then switched to this standard king room, which felt like a better fit. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the school and shopping street, and the surrounding amenities are also great.
The hotel was nice and clean but the furniture and interiors seemed a bit old. The location was near the airport but a bit far from the city centre. I liked the amenities but they didn't have tissues for hand and face, only toilet paper mother than the noise of occasional airplanes the building and the surroundings were quiet. The only problem we had was that we were not given the code to the apartment building and the reception desk was located inside. Fortunately a guest came and opened it for us before we had to contact the owner.

This is my second stay here, and the rooms, beds, and amenities are all quite comfortable and well-sized. The location is absolutely fantastic, right on Avenida da Liberdade with its numerous brand-name stores. The breakfast is also superb, plentiful and delicious.

The hotel is in a great location and was easy to find, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was comfortable, though not very spacious, and it was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was great, had several options. We were also grateful for the 12 p.m. check-out, as it suited our later departure for the next leg of our trip.

Amazing
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean, of good quality, the staff were nice and helpful. It was in a very good location as well in Lisbon with easy access to the city. There are a variety of food options for breakfast. There is a lot of amenities as well to use all in good condition including a gym, pool, etc. And I really enjoy the Lisbon light show @Lumen Hotel.
This hotel is in a very good location near the airport you could take the metro red line from the airport then the yellow or green line to the closets metro stop to the hotel or take the bus number 783 from/to the airport. The hotel is 4 star luxury comfortable beds and very good breakfast. I recommend for airport stays or even for longuer stays to visit Lisbon as very convenient to public transport
Location, 6 metro stops to central. Metro station is 300m away, close enough. Parking is 12Eur a day, unlimited in and out. Super We booked an executive suite, with is huge. The only complain is the bathroom 1.the designer needs to be fired 2.the tap for bidet, the ass cleaner, is 90 degree pointing downward, in fact is the same tap use for hand washing... Who has an asshole facing outward? 3. The bathtub is high, with a slope, and super slippery, luckily there is a handle, wonder anyone fell and injured in the bathtub. 4. The bathtub comes with a clear glass facing the bed outside, and the curtains is outside.. If you have a sexy partner, that would be a good design, for families... Hmm. 5. The washing basin is took high, wrong product Please fire the bathroom designer.
The hotel us just right in front of the Olaias Metro Station. It is very convenience to travel from the Airport and in town. It is very fast by the Metro. The room is in good size for traveling and visiting. The breakfast is good and enough for us with good coffee. Things are well attended。 If we found the air conditioner was not working properly, the night receptionist will come to our room immediately to help us. When we checked in the receptionist is not very presented, she said you have booked city view room, the room is like that. When.we went in the first room it was on the 6th.floor, there was no view at all. I then returned to request changing room, the a room on 11th floor was given. She said if you want to change for higher floor, you have to said to my manager, she is off today. So the next morning, I asked the manager, she was so helpful and immediately gave me a room on higher floor to get rid of the two sided walls. To what I believe us that if the young receptionist presented in a more friendly way, and offer her services to request her manager rather than asking the customer to approach her manager directly. So far we are happy with our stay and hopefully the hotel could improve the customer services with the young lady receptionist.
