There is a dedicated passage leading to the airport departure hall, and right outside is a row of Delta Airline check-in counters. Apart from the convenience of connecting flights, there are no special advantages for the time being. The facilities and services are not worth the price.

I spent one night at the Hollywood Casino at Greektown. I did not visit the casino. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line. I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs. I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the casino, or go out.

The hotel is relatively close to the airport and the car rental company. The signs of other companies on the airport shuttle bus are probably shared by several companies, and there is no breakfast. Print a piece of paper for one dollar

Overall, the hotel is clean and well maintained. However When we arrived to check in, our room was not ready until around 3:25 PM which was very disappointing, as we were very tired from driving long hours. During the night, the cleaning guy at the lobby was very noisy, speaking loudly on his phone speaker, while we were trying to relax and have coffee, thus we left the whole lobby for him and went to our rooms.

Facility was very clean and smelled good. The front desk ladies were quick and very communicative. The room was clean, nice and spacious even for a solo traveler. The view I had of the lake was beautiful. I definitely would recommend this place and will be staying there more when I come up for trips

I only spent 1 night here, and I was kinda prepping for a typical sort of crappy motel. Is it a luxury hotel? No, no one is gonna confuse it for that. But the room was comfortable, the wifi worked, the shower was fine, AC worked well and maybe most importantly for an airport hotel, the price was reasonable and there was a shuttle available. I really couldn't have asked for anything more in an airport hotel, frankly every major city should have this as an option and sadly that's just not the case, far too often you're in over $100 for the same room or worse. Of note, I clicked ”yes” an outdoor pool is available, but in reality their pool is totally out of commission. Didn't bother me, and in the upcoming months it won't matter, but if you wanted to take a dip, you can't.

Rooms smelled of sewage the entire night. It was awful and terrible. Bathroom towel holder just fell off. The building is dilapidated.

Brand new. This hotel is conveniently located. Close to I-75 but doesn’t have road noise. So nice to have a good nights sleep. Those checking us in were very friendly. Also the manager Mark even came up and mentioned if there is anything that can make our stay better to just let him know. We were very impressed with all that we experienced at this hotel. Will definitely stay again. Very clean.

We stayed overnight on January, 6/23 in Room 203 at the Holiday Inn Express- Detroit Metro Airport 7680 Merriman Road Romulus, MI 48174 Upon entering our room we noticed a soiled cleaning cloth on the floor in the bathroom. We also noticed the sink did not drain properly, there were no glasses for water and the TV and Remote did not work properly. The remote did not control the TV and the TV audio and video kept pausing repeatedly making it impossible to watch anything. We called down to the front desk, but the girl was busy with check-ins, and said she would come up later. She did not come up but we assumed she had either just been too busy or forgotten, which is understandable. The USB ports to charge our phones underneath the TV did not work as they were too loose and the cords kept falling out. I also was never asked if I was an IHG Member upon check-in or check-out, and received no points for my stay. This is just a personal preference, but one other thing we didn’t care for were the toiletries not being individual samples as it seems unsanitary because of COVID. I reached out to IHG on Twitter on January 7 and received a response right away. They reached out to the Hotel Manager to investigate and said I would hear from her. I received an email from the Hotel Manager January 10 stating she knew nothing about my concerns, so I forwarded her a list of issues we experienced. Finally, on Monday, January 16 after receiving no response from the Manager, I called the Hotel and asked for the Manger, who maintains she did not receive my email, which was a direct reply to hers. She offered me 8000 points, which I did not receive. This Hotel stay was the first night of our 2 week vacation. The first since COVID. I am not impressed by the apparent disregard for patrons by the Hotel Management. January 18, twelve days after our stay, and there was still no resolution, which is completely unacceptable Customer Service. No one should have had to deal with this while vacationing. Just to follow up, IHG Twitter added 10,000 points to my account, and I received 1,468 points for the stay. It appears 5,000 points were added as well, from the Hotel Management? Unsure? I do not enjoy leaving a bad review but also do not appreciate having concerns/issues seemingly dismissed as unimportant, and for that reason alone we WILL NOT be staying in this location again. P.S. Very nice place so friendly staff Clean and nice room air conditioning very good very reasonable prices at the snack shop No front desk employee supper nice we arrived so late at night front desk was very nice made the check in very fast and easy we were so tired from driving 10 hours Morning breakfast if I remember right Suzan was also so friendly and helpful decent breakfast Overall very good place to go for the price

The room is large, clean and breakfast is OK. However, there is nothing near the hotel. There is a mall in the place where you can walk. There are also many restaurants nearby. It’s only from the Detroit airport that it’s only for rent.

However, the room is not big, clean and tidy, the breakfast variety is not very rich, the breakfast on the next day of the stay has cold bread, no hot eggs or bacon. I don't know if the waiter is late, or what is the reason, in short, it should not be.

It was a nice stay for me and brothers, we came for family party, it was spacious, neat and clean, quiet neighborhood, my eldest brother was staying at best Western, he came to our room and said it was better than where he was staying by far, you guys should keep it up

The service in the hotel is very good. They can also help with printing. There is 24-hour free hot water and coffee and other small drinks. It is very suitable for Asians on business trips. The breakfast is also delicious and there are many choices. The waffles are great. The hotel is also newly opened. The environment Very good. The only drawback is that it is very close to the road and it will be a little noisy, but overall it is still very good and the service is very good!

Water pressure good hot water..room ok after I lysoled and air freshner in room sprayed hall musty smell..no room service while there not even cllean towels had to ask. Sack breakfast not what was advertised take what you get a muffin,apple,granola bar and water. Very sad will not stay again!

I love this hotel! We get the room with 2 tvs and it works Great! It keeps the peace, lol. Also the kitchen is awesome! The decor and patio too is awesome and gorgeous! I'm curious how it would be during normal times but right now I'm lovin them. peaceful.

Great hotel excellent room and is located in a safe and convenient location. Rooms are large clean and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is excellent and coffee is served 7x24. We stayed three nights and found the place to be quiet and safe. Housekeeping does a super job.

Everything is great, especially with hot springs and gym, the breakfast is great, the reception is very nice, and it would be better if you could have toiletries. I couldn't use the elevator, but the room was on the second floor. 😊😊 Going out to see the little squirrel, surprise

We chose this hotel over a different less expensive hotel down the street because of the highly reviewed restaurant and the beautiful interior photos on the website. We paid around $400 for this room. When we arrived, we discovered that the hotel was hosting a Classic Cars event. All of the parking spaces at the front entrance and along the sides were taken up by Classic Cars and parade tents filled with partying people. There was a very loud band blocking the hotel entrance as well, and it was raining. This all might have been fun if we were Classic Car enthusiasts, but we are not. We're just regular family people and we were there for a baptism at the church down the road. The hotel bar and restaurant were completely filled with event guests. We discovered we had been booked into an Accessible room, meaning that it was outfitted for wheelchairs, but we are young(ish) and not disabled. Other than that, the room was pretty......until we opened the curtains and were staring at what must have been the entire HVAC system for the hotel. Possibly worst of all, there was a piped-in scent throughout the hotel - even in our room - that reminded me of cheap 1980's men's musk cologne. It was awful. It permeated our clothes, and my hair. All night, cars were revving their engines. However, the front desk staff was very nice. What we experienced was definitely not what was advertised by this hotel.

The location is a little off, but the hotel facilities are good, basically matching the domestic five-star hotels, the service is also very good, and the price is reasonable. It is not far from the city center, highly recommended

The room was ok. The location is also very good. The gym is huge and has a lot of equipment. Downstairs is the General Motors showroom. The breakfast was a bit poor. I was a bit annoyed at the long queue when I checked out. Since I had to catch a plane, I threw down my room card and left.

We chose the Siren due to its excellent location on Broadway - in the middle of downtown with lots of good bars and restaurants a few minutes’ walk away. It is in a unique building which makes imaginative use of the limited space available, given how narrow it is. We were aware the rooms were very small and so booked a Parlor room which was on the 8th floor. It was still on the small side but had 3 big windows with a great view of the Detroit Athletic Club building, Opera House and Tigers stadium. There was the usual city noise but this didn’t bother us at all. The room had nice bedding, a slim sofa, table and chair. There was no storage or hanging space for clothes due to space but a couple of hooks on the wall with hangers. There was no safe which was disappointing, and also no fridge. There was a cupboard under the TV with ironing board and fan/heater which we felt would have been better used for the above items. Quirky bathroom with nice but limited toiletries. Unfortunately there was no dine-in breakfast option available at this hotel - at our time of booking, they had this in the Ash Bar as well as a weekend brunch, but these were stopped a few weeks before our stay. You can get coffee and a pastry in the lobby. Also no happy hour which was previously listed. It seems like they don’t have much demand for this bar as it was closed at random times. Hopefully these will come back. We did have a drink at the Candy Bar which was fun. There was no coffee in the room, and no complimentary water anywhere. The corridors and communal areas are extremely dark which takes some getting used to, but not really a problem as you aren’t in them for long. Staff interaction is minimal but courteous. Would recommend.

' The service is 1st rate. where the staff anticipates your every need and efficiently seques the transitions of luggage transport, on-the-spot valet parking, friendly 24 hour shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. ' ' The hotel is in the heart of Greektown offerings, and within minutes of all the arenas and sports stadiums, as well as the performing arts snd stage houses. ' The Athenium will delight and pamper you!

Colleagues went to the United States for a business trip and helped him choose a hotel. The service was quite good, the facilities were ok, the price was not expensive, and the basics were not bad. Mainly interested in parking free, haha

It's average, especially soundproofing. I was basically able to hear what was said on the roof. And parking costs $ 33. But I didn't ask too much in Detroit.

The staff was rude from the very first phone call. Refused to take our reservation over the phone. When we arrived we found out there was a $100 deposit that was required-talked to others in our group-they were not charged that fee. I tried to talk to the girl at the front desk she wanted no part of listening to me. Our entire group ( we were there for state wrestling finals) and our keys were all uncoded for our 2nd night. So after a long day we ALL had to go to the office and get new keys. The rooms were dirty-very dirty. Hair in the shower, our friends room had glass on the flower and messages left from Valentines Day on the counter. Almost no hot water-the front desk person had no way to get extra towels. Rooms had 2 towels with a 4 person occupancy. We tried to book somewhere else but due to the wrestling finals we couldn’t find any other place with availability. This is not a Baymont standard hotel and we are very dissatisfied. I will be disputing these charges with my bank.

We stayed here for one night on July 27, 2024 to go to a Detroit Tigers baseball game. The valet, front desk clerk and another staffer Jay were all so friendly and helpful. Our check in was quick and efficient. The room was very nice with comfortable beds and nice clean, comfortable sheets. Jay helped to give us advice to take the free People Mover to the baseball game. We would definitely stay here again.
