Guest UserThe Room was good clean and comfortable, the attached bathroom was very small, felt uncomfortable when credit card details were asked along with the expiry date, even though full payment was done. Aminities wise it was lacking as there was no provision of hot water, or any one for immediate response as there's no reception for this hostel. Felt safe. Close to the tourist attractions.

The hotel is an antique, located in the Plaza del Sol in the center of Madrid. You can experience what it's like to live in a house with a history of hundreds of years. The facilities are a bit old, there is no air conditioning, and it's a bit hot in the summer.

We arrived at an address where we were told to go elsewhere. Once there, the sound of running water greeted us and remained throughout our stay. At our first complaint, the manager asked where the noise was coming from, then heard nothing more. Opaque glass separated us from a pretty patio with dim, permanent lighting. But when someone enters, the light turns on automatically. Curtains would have improved the situation. The room was clean, but completely charmless. White tiles, white walls, two large beds, a small table with a chair, a shelf hanging from the wall, and below it, a bar with hangers. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with curtains, which splashed water into the room every time we showered.

I was very surprised by this accommodation, as it was not what I expected. Such a pleasant stay. 1 night en route to the south of Spain so location was great for the travelling, just a few kilometres off the main autoroute but also in a small, peaceful town. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was clean and well run. The breakfast was standard but included in the room rate. The accommodation is really good value for money and the pool is a lovely extra added bonus.
My only suggestions for improvements would be that it would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The biggest attraction to this place appears to be the restaurant and when I arrived that was very busy and I would have liked to eat here as there are not many restaurants around, but being vegetarian, I didn’t find much option on the menu, however there is a pizza take away on site just to the rear so that was very handy for us

PATRICIACCLocation is the best point about this hotel, really near to the city center (old city) and lot of turistics points such as the cathedral, Giralda and Real Alcazar (around 7min by foot) and Plaza de España is 20 min by foot. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is not available but there is a coffee shop at the first floor and also cafeterias surrounding the hotel. The bedroom was comfortable ans celan. The size of the room is ok for 2 nights. The only point is the bathroom, the walls are made of glass and it is transparent...as a suggestion, I would like recommend to put some material not transparent to allow more privacy (when you are travelling with someone else).

I only needed to stay for one night for the Balearia ferry, as my train from Madrid had been cancelled due to the train crash and I took the bus a day early.
So I arrived in the evening having booked a single room while on the bus. The owner very kindly upgraded me to a studio with a kitchenette which was much appreciated. I could spread out and once the heating was working I was warm and cosy.
The room was missing a kettle but I could use the microwave to heat water.
The shower was fully adjustable and lovely and warm.
The location is great, not too far from the bus station and not too far from the ferry terminal; via the market if you so wish!
My Balearia ferry was at 17:00 so I left my case for free at the hotel. But they changed it free at the terminal to 15:00. so I went back to pick up my case and got to Tangier early. So all good.
The hotel is a little run down as other guests have said but “cheap and cheerful” is a pretty good description!

This is the most perfect place to stay in Nerja - could not fault a thing. The location is excellent you are 2 minutes away from all the main restaurants without having the noise element disturb you - it is extremely peaceful and quiet around the pool and within the rooms. The staff are brilliant and are well accommodating. Rooms are cleaned everyday. There is no food, but this is not a problem as you want to be going out trying all the restaurants anyway - but there are plenty of shops nearby and the hotel are happy to give you cutlery to make sandwiches etc if needed. Must stay - would recommend this to anyone. We got engaged whilst we were in Nerja and I could not have picked a more perfect hotel to be staying in.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located in a small alley, but its location is very convenient, within walking distance of all the old town attractions. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but for the price, it's acceptable. The shared bathrooms are very clean. It's a great place for a solo trip.

Great stay in a perfect location
Patios del Orfebre is a lovely place to stay right in the heart of the historic area. The location is excellent—close to all the main tourist attractions, surrounded by beautiful old streets and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel itself was very clean, cozy, and full of charm. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. It’s a great choice if you want to experience the character of the old city while staying somewhere comfortable and quiet.
Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, charm, and cleanliness.
Loved the little patio.

I stayed in Marbella for 1 night which was perfect. When I arrived I called reception and Renee arrived shortly. She was very friendly, answered all my questions and was very helpful. I stayed in a single room with a balcony and a fridge. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hostel is right in the middle of Old Town and a short 6 minute walk to the bus stop Marbella Canter and local beach. From there i caught a ferry boat to Puerto Banus beach and had a magnificent time.
An excellent experience. There was night time dining, a friendly atmosphere, short distance to Parque dela Alameda.
