Prime spot on Nanbin Road!
The views of Hongyadong, Raffles City, and the Yangtze River Cableway are incredible.
The moment Qiansimen Bridge lights up while you're soaking in the hot spring at night is just pure romance and bliss 💫.
Our room had a private hot spring tub with 24-hour constant temperature carbonated spring water.
Being able to relax in the hot spring while enjoying the river view was amazing, and we could even binge-watch shows on the projector.
Service was excellent, and the cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch.
The Chongqing Eling Art Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Its location is unbeatable, right within the Eling No.2 Factory Cultural and Creative Park. You just step downstairs and you're surrounded by trendy photo spots, making it super convenient for exploring and visiting exhibitions. The hotel's overall design blends industrial style with artistic flair. Paintings and installations are everywhere, from the lobby to the hallways, making it feel like you're staying in an art museum – perfect for photos. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view of the mountain city, and at night, watching the light show was truly atmospheric. The service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and the attention to detail was excellent. The rooftop terrace offers an amazing view too. It's ideal whether you're on vacation or looking for a great photo opportunity, and the value for money is fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent, and you could really feel the staff's enthusiasm. However, the hotel itself had some significant drawbacks. The air conditioning/heating was inconsistent, sometimes hot, sometimes cold, and the hot water had the same issue. The room felt quite cramped. The area displayed on Ctrip might include the balcony and shared living room, because for us, the room was too small and uncomfortable. We couldn't even open two large suitcases at the same time without blocking the walkway. Additionally, the towels were a bit damp, which wasn't pleasant to use. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, being so close to the Fairy Mountain Tourist Center.

The hotel was incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. I slept soundly until morning without any disturbance. It's also very conveniently located for getting around, and parking is free. Right opposite the hotel lobby, you can enjoy hot springs, which was a fantastic experience. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, offering plenty of natural light, and even provided small face towels. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall, a wonderful stay!

This trip to Chongqing with my parents and children was made incredibly comfortable by our four-bedroom private villa. We really chose well; my family all agreed it was much cozier and better value than a hotel. The underfloor heating throughout the house was a huge plus for my elderly parents and children who are sensitive to cold, keeping the indoor temperature perfectly comfortable. The villa was spotlessly clean, and we felt perfectly at ease letting the kids run around barefoot. The biggest surprise was the hotel providing kids' toiletries and toys, which immediately captivated the children and made things much easier for us adults. In the evenings, we enjoyed playing some light music on the Marshall speaker, creating a warm family atmosphere. The mahjong machine also came in handy, keeping my parents entertained. The 24-hour butler service was very responsive and helped us out with many of the little tasks that come with traveling with kids. Plus, the free garage parking was very convenient. I highly recommend this place for families with children!

Pros:
The hotel was clean and near to hongyadong.
The staff helped with parcel delivery and returns.
Extension of a night at the same room (with a new booking) was allowed when we were not well.
Cons:
The lobby is noisy as hongyadong shops are making announcements
The lift to the rooms are shared by other hotels and it is an unusual experience as it is a different building from the lobby too.
Prices were similar as Chengdu 5 diamond hotel but amenities was lacking.
Water pressure was low for few days due to pump issues.
Returning to Jingangbei after a year, it's like a fine wine that gets better with every taste, utterly captivating. Jingangbei Old Village Hot Spring is nestled at the foot of Jinyun Mountain in Beibei District, Chongqing, a hidden wonderland amidst the mountains and rivers. The old village streams, riverbanks, pavilions, courtyards, and hot springs – every corner offers a picturesque view, making it a true urban escape and a haven from the hustle and bustle. I stayed at Guanyin Pavilion; the room was clean and tidy, and the Jialing River was right outside the window. Brewing a pot of fragrant tea there was simply delightful. I tried both hot spring areas, but I particularly loved the one at Jiangyu Wentang, offering an unbeatable view from its elevated position!

The hot springs are great for kids; they can soak in the room however they like, and the water is very clean.
Service: The receptionist, Ms. Jia, was incredibly patient and gentle.
The hotel's decor is also quite nice, and the Chinese restaurant's food is excellent!
I soaked in the hot springs last night, and forgot to take pictures of the room this morning. I'll take them next time.
I needed to catch an early high-speed train the next morning, so I looked for a hotel close to the metro station. Knowing Vienna is a chain, I felt confident about the stay and anticipated good service. Being on floors 18-23 also ensured a quiet environment. Despite booking quite late, a staff member kindly called to give me the address. We arrived well after 10 PM. Because it was so late, there was no queue for the laundry room, making it a breeze to wash and dry my clothes. The next morning, taking the underground passage to the high-speed rail station was incredibly convenient! Half an hour was definitely ample time. The station isn't very large, and the crowds were manageable.

The service at this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were warm and efficient. After checking in, I found the room to be much larger than I expected, with a spacious and comfortable layout. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was spotless, and the bathroom was bright and clean, making me feel completely at ease. The location is absolutely fantastic too—just a few minutes' walk to a bustling commercial street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. My overall experience far exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

11388004****This hot spring hotel, nestled at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, is built harmoniously with the natural terrain. Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.
GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful.
Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off.
Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

GGuest UserThis hotel was very impressive when it opened more than a decade ago. Time has passed and the style remains the same. The hotel facilities are complete and the hardware and software are very good. Anyway, I prefer old hotels without the smell of formaldehyde. The price of 300+ during the May Day holiday is very reasonable. After all, the hotel has more rooms and has this condition. (¬◡¬)✧ However, the basic room rate of more than 300 does not include breakfast, so I didn't experience the dining experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which made access a bit inconvenient. Right outside, there's a small stream where children can play in the water and catch crabs, which they absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of options. For lunch and dinner, we dined at Tianxing Town, right opposite the hotel. Most restaurants there served similar fare. However, I'd strongly advise against a place called 'Nongjia Cai' (Farmer's Dishes). Their ventilation was terrible, making it very smoky and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, they charged a 4 RMB seating fee even for our 3-year-old, a charge that none of the other restaurants in the area imposed.
