"I booked this hotel specifically for its hot springs, hoping to relax after a day of hiking at Huangguoshu Waterfall. I got a lake view room, which offered views of Hongshan Lake Park and the hotel's swimming pool. The hot spring area of the hotel is beautifully landscaped, and waking up to the sound of birdsong in the morning was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. The breakfast was quite simple; there was no freshly brewed or ground coffee, though they did offer freshly made rice noodles, but other options were limited. The hotel is close to the ancient town, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The weather in Anshun is truly comfortable; I'm thinking of coming back for a longer stay."

"At the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone! ⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting. ⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions). ⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving). ⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit! ⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July). ⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers! ⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view). ⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss! ⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2'). Tips: ‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes. ‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. ‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly! ‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes. ‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket. Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining! We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!"

"The lake view room offered a stunning view! The double sinks were super convenient for getting ready, and having both a bathtub and a pool was a huge plus. The kids had an absolute blast at the kids' club, digging in the sand, feeding animals, and riding the mini-train – they didn't even want to leave to explore! For breakfast, there was Zunyi beef vermicelli and beef noodles, plus Zunyi Ciba. The dinner buffet had plenty of crawfish, and we also enjoyed steak, lamb chops, oysters, and ice cream. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the Zunyi Conference Site, and ordering takeout was a breeze."

"Booked two rooms! Highly recommend ~ comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a convenient location! We had a lot of luggage from our road trip, and they thoughtfully helped us load it into the car. You should try the tea in the hotel lobby, it's delicious. They even refilled our hot water kettle, which was very much appreciated ~ The location near the scenic area is also super convenient ~ there's a VIP service that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel! Walking to the nearby Zangxiangge restaurant for a meal is also a great option!"

"The butler service was excellent, very responsive, and always ready to help. The cleanliness was top-notch, though there were quite a few mosquitoes, and I got several bites. They helped carry my luggage to the room. When I checked out, they moved my luggage from the room to the door. It would have been absolutely perfect if they could have also helped move the luggage from the door to the car. That would have provided a truly complete and satisfying experience from start to finish."

"This B&B is conveniently located close to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive, even boasting an elevator. The breakfast spread is generous, and there are many dining options nearby. The owner and staff were incredibly thoughtful; they not only upgraded our room for free but also helped us with our luggage. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, featuring a wet/dry separation in the bathroom and a full range of toiletries, including excellent shampoo. There's also a terrace on the 7th floor with a great view. Overall, it was an excellent experience for a family trip."

"So far, this is the 3rd hotel we stayed in Tongren, i would definitely say, this is the best and so far for me and family. This JinJiang hotspring hotel really met international standard in terms of counter service (very polite and good attitude receptionist), and service at hotspring area deserves a thumbs up. The room is very spacious, nice interior and important - clean and neat. The water playground is definitely a good place for kids to have fun during summer holiday. I told the hotel desk that it was my actual birthday yesterday, guess what, they sent me a plate of grapes, so sweet of them. I would definitely come to this hotel next time when i am visiting my niece and nephew again."

It boasts the best warm and attentive service in the entire scenic area, the best viewing platform, the most exquisite afternoon tea, the most abundant and nutritious breakfast, the most youthful and cheerful atmosphere, and the most beautiful photo opportunities. Trust me, every guest at Shanhe Shi will fall in love with it! 🥰🥰🥰 The entire guesthouse is filled with a strong sense of service and is incredibly thoughtful! They contacted me two days before my check-in and created a WeChat service group including six staff members, sending me a travel guide to Zhenyuan with various food, drink, and entertainment options, greatly saving me time in planning. The staff are uniformly dressed, creating a very professional atmosphere! They were online throughout and enthusiastically answered all my questions in Zhenyuan. On the day we arrived in Zhenyuan Ancient Town, the hotel manager greeted us early in the morning at the designated parking lot. He helped us with our luggage the whole time, which was very thoughtful and freed up our hands, allowing us to check into the hotel smoothly. The receptionist also greeted us with a smile. Overall, every staff member was enthusiastic, always treating guests with a positive attitude, and full of energy. ❤️❤️❤️ The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic!!! The most outstanding feature of this guesthouse is its 360-degree infinity rooftop terrace. During the day, surrounded by green mountains, with the Wuyang River winding through the town, the ancient city's blue-tiled roofs are beautifully arranged, and every snapshot is a soothing scene. At sunset, the river is bathed in the glow of the setting sun, and after nightfall, the entire ancient city is ablaze with lights. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying the evening breeze and overlooking the city's night view, is incredibly romantic. The hotel's decor is exquisite, tasteful, and stylish. The entire room features a warm wabi-sabi design, with natural stone floors, wooden furniture, and soft, comfortable bedding. The rooms are filled with charming decorative items and books, and the balcony is perfect for taking photos. In the morning, opening the electric curtains reveals a view of Zhenyuan Ancient City. The guesthouse's rooftop is incredibly photogenic! 😘😘😘 After we checked out, they were incredibly kind and attentive, escorting us to the parking lot, helping us with our luggage, and waving goodbye until we were safely in our car. (So touching! 🥹) The most beautiful part of this trip to Guizhou was the ancient town of Zhenyuan, with its thousand-year history, and the stunning scenery of ”Mountains and Rivers” 🤩🤩🤩"

"convenient location, close to the high spped rail station. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, well lit. The lobby receptionists are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides free laundry facility and free breakfast, but no gym facility. For the price paid, it is a steal. If you need one night good sleep and no need for too much amenities, this hotel is highly recommended."
