Hot Springs Hotels in Hainan, China

This hotel is located on Ocean Flower Island, which makes exploring the island quite convenient. The surrounding environment is lovely, and the hotel itself is massive, with many guests. This can make it feel a bit chaotic, and the front desk management could definitely be improved. Breakfast was decent but not very varied. The biggest issue with this hotel, however, is the room size. It's so small that two people can barely move around, and there's only one tiny stool with no other seating. You basically have to get on the bed as soon as you enter the room. There's no space to put clothes or luggage, which really impacted our stay. We originally planned to stay for two nights but ended up checking out after just one.

The hotel is indeed a bit old; some tiles flaked off the walls while I was in the hot springs, which was a minor annoyance. However, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is built within the Seven-仙-Ling tropical rainforest, with varying elevations, a well-arranged layout, and lush vegetation, providing an abundance of negative oxygen ions. The service is also thoughtful and attentive; they are always ready to assist and respond promptly. The hot springs themselves are very comfortable and relaxing.

Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much. I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

The service was exceptional; the butler was incredibly attentive 24/7. The room facilities were absolutely perfect. Waking up to the sea view, enjoying the sunset in the evening, and seeing rows of twinkling lights at night – it was a 360-degree panoramic experience. Plus, the breakfast was delicious! All in all, it was a very pleasant trip, a real escape from the city's hustle and bustle, truly healing for the soul.

Our stay at Sheraton Haikou was fantastic! It's perfect for both family vacations and parents with kids. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Our butler, Sally, was incredibly responsive and warm. The pool and hot springs facilities are excellent, and the beach is just a short walk away. The sea breeze and the sound of the waves were so relaxing. With the coconut trees and the ocean's charm, it really felt like a perfect getaway. We booked this hotel to see Hua Chenyu's Mars Concert, and it was also convenient for reaching Changying Global 100 Fantasy Park. The concert shuttle pick-up point was right at the bus stop outside. We'd definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance! 😊

On our way back from Wenchang after watching the rocket launch with our child, we spotted Mission Hills Hotel, a place we'd stayed at before. Seeing such a great price, we booked it right away! I recall when Mission Hills first opened; it was quite a sensation, and we felt so proud to stay there. This time, with our child in tow, we arrived to find the doorman as friendly and enthusiastic as ever – truly maintaining their high standards. Even though it was almost midnight, the front desk attendant politely and gently handled our check-in, making us feel the hotel's service genuinely exceeds five-star expectations. Our room, while small, was immaculately clean. The thick carpet immediately conveyed its luxury status, and the room smelled wonderfully fresh, completely free of any odors. They thoughtfully provided a children's toiletries and slipper set for our little one. This attention to detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Throughout our one-day stay, every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel completely at home. Mission Hills Hotel truly is a super five-star experience!

This time the room was clean and not smelly. We love this hotel . Maybe it’s time for an upgrade for food delivery as it’s sometimes a burden to walk down to the gate to get food delivery . Maybe a robot as in many other hotels will be a good addition. One more thing that is a bit uncomfortable which is freezing cold bathrooms and showers at the outdoor pool . I fell sick today after leaving the hotel from walking in the freezing cold bathroom to use it when I am swimming outdoor . It is really uncomfortable and not healthy at all. A proper temperature will be much better. It makes the use of the bathrooms in that part painful. Apart from that we always love everything in this hotel. We will stay again .

The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, with an oriental garden architectural style. The rooms are spacious, modern, simple, and elegant, and breakfast is plentiful and served in a quiet, comfortable setting. A highlight is the natural hot spring (water drawn from 1000 meters underground; reportedly drained daily. I saw the hot spring pools just starting to fill with water when I went swimming around 7 AM on December 2nd) and the large swimming pool. It's close to the coast and the China Duty-Free Shopping Complex (about a 10-yuan taxi ride). The Hainan Duty-Free Shopping Complex (the largest in Hainan) has a unique design and is worth a visit. Qilou Old Street is a bit further (online car-hailing costs around 45-75 yuan, depending on whether it's peak hours).

Overall, it was just okay. Facilities: Due to the weather, I didn't get to experience the hot springs, so I can't comment on them. Hygiene: The room was generally quite clean. There was a foreign object in the quilt the first night, but it was handled promptly. Environment: There are delivery options available nearby, but there's no robot to bring food up to the room, so I had to go outside to pick it up every time. In the room: The sink was too low, so water easily splashed out. However, the cleaning lady was very thoughtful and put down a towel for me. I spent one day trying the breakfast and dinner buffets, and I can only say they were very average, with too many pre-made items! The service attitude was good, though. I hope hotel management can make some improvements.
