We booked for 2nights in April and it came with breakfast, first run of minibar, Single Tang Dynasty themed travel photography & Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours Experience. As our room has its own hot bath that fills up every night at 7.30pm to 12.30am, we did not go to the Imperial hot spring which is at located in another building.
Hotel:
It is located in the Hua Qing Palace scenic area and for hotel guests, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely. In the scenic area, there are other eateries like KFC and coffee joints but they operate only during scenic area opening hours. The Hua Qing Palace consists of many cultural sites like Tang Dynasty Imperial Hot Spring Relics Museum, Xi’an Incident site, Five Rooms Hall, Jiulonghu Lake and Furonghu Lake scenic spot, Tang Dynasty Pear Garden Relics Museum and many landmark buildings, such as Feishuang Hall Wanshou Hall, Longevity Hall, Huan Garden and Emperor Yu Palace.
Service:
The staff in the hotel are helpful to assist and answers all my questions in a clear manner. They came with buggy as soon as I dial for them and also assisted us to purchase the tickets for the show.
Photography:
I enjoyed the Tang Dynasty themed travel photography and I find that both make-up artist (Ms Dian Dian) and photographer (Mr Wang Jie) are very professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This photography is conducted by a third-party vendor that is stationed in the hotel. We went to the Hua Qing Palace for the photography. It is a convenient location to take photo with beautiful backgrounds. A day after the photo taking, we went online to choose the photos that I wanted to keep. Customer Service Ms Liang Yanping conducted a live session via a link in wechat, somewhat similar to zoom meeting to showcase all the photos that were taken. The complimentary digital photos given by the hotel are for 3 high quality digital photos and if one wants more than 3 pictures, there will be an extra charge for the purchase.
Food:
The restaurant is located in another building which is about 8minute walk away. Alternatively, we can call the buggy to send us there and back. The food is really yummy and I must say the Chang-an Roasted Whole Chicken is a must try. Also.... the desserts are so good too. With a love for sweet food, I tried the almond lotus paste and also the lychee and redberry cold dessert. They are both gooooood...
Show:
At night, there is a large-scale live-action historical dance drama “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” that is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group Company. The theme of this dance drama is the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Consort Yang. This is a must see as the performance is top notch. Separate tickets must be purchased for the show.
Summary:
For those who want to be in a historical site that offers a hot spa right in your bedroom, this is an ideal place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who are visiting Xi-an and to use this as a last stop in Xi-an before heading to your next destination.
This stay was absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was incredibly gentle and efficient during check-in, and her attitude was warm and patient. From guiding us in, helping with luggage, and getting us settled in the room, the whole process was so thoughtful. Knowing we were planning to hike Mount Hua, she even meticulously explained the best routes and precautions. The housekeeping auntie kept our room spotless and was quick to respond to our requests. Overall, the service was excellent, making our stay incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose this place again when we come back to Mount Hua! ✨
The hotel is on the rooftop of a building that has mainly food stalls. It was a bit tricky to get in, but once you find the elevator its easy. Else use the escalator two times and you‘re directly there. Behind the hotel is a hairdresser(for your orientation in case you don‘t see the little building immediately) The view is really nice! Inside you‘re greeted by not only one but three kitties.
The host was welcoming and stored my luggage because it was not check in time yet. I went to see the terracotta army. I recieved my passcode via Wechat and when i got into my room, my bag was already inside.
I enjoyed the night view and there is a play you can listen to from afar. The afternoon tea and breakfast was nice. It wasn‘t like a gourmet experience, but tasted simple and made me appreciate the little things in life. The place is nicely decorated.
I had the room with the sky view. The bed was soft. I almost went for the tatami room, but I realized the bed wouldn‘t be soft. So if you book think about what kind of experience you want. I think this place has 4 double bed rooms (2 soft bed, 2 tatami) and a family room.
Overall I definitely recommend this place. It‘s just so lovely pet and play with the cats. Luckily all of them love getting pet. Orange is just a little more shy, but is willing to with patience.
The reason I chose this is because it‘s close to the terracotta army. And I specifically chose this because Iike the interior. I always have a hard time picking hotels because I want it looking nice from the inside. I didn‘t with this one and it was worth it!

I highly recommend this hotel; the front desk staff and everyone else provided excellent service. Especially the night shift front desk team – I saw how hard they were working, so I gave them two bottles of drinks. There was a small detail when I checked in that I really appreciated: they put my ID in a plastic sleeve. That shows great attention to detail. The room's cleanliness was also quite good, and the internet connection was excellent. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I hope I have a great time in Xi'an.
This time we stayed at Angsana Lintong for my baby's birthday. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful; they decorated the room and even prepared a birthday cake for the baby. Our whole family was so happy, they really are very considerate. A special thank you to our butler Wen Nuan. Furthermore, every staff member we encountered throughout the hotel greeted us warmly, which is something many hotels struggle with. Although the hotel has been around for many years, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and all facilities are very well-maintained. For the price, it truly offers excellent value for money. It's definitely Xi'an people's 'secret garden' for a reason!

I was really surprised by the hotel I stayed in, and I have to give it a five-star rating! I was shocked as soon as I arrived there. It is the only century-old ancient building of the Yuan family, and it is full of ancient charm. The location is absolutely perfect, being in the very center of the village. There is a lively snack street right outside your door, so you can eat whenever you want. There is also a Starbucks nearby, so it is very convenient to have a cup of coffee. The courtyard behind the hotel is even more beautiful, with a new view at every step, full of Chinese style. The service is also very good. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone is warm and considerate, and the stay experience is perfect. Next time I come to Yuanjia Village, I will definitely stay here again!

I went to Yuanjia Village with my friends and kids for a two-day trip on the weekend and stayed at Swisstouches Yuanjia Village. I checked the guide before coming and found that the hotel has hot springs, swimming, and steaming facilities. The kids had a lot of fun just in the hotel.
I have to praise the noodle area for breakfast. The clear soup noodles, wontons, and spicy rice noodles are all very special! Special! Good! Delicious!
Traveling on the weekend, the overall feeling is average. I booked a duplex for parents and children. The room is on the top floor. The air conditioner is always broken. , the largest feature pool is not open for maintenance. There aren’t many breakfast options, so it’s better to go to Taibai.
This time I brought my wife and child to Xi'an, and our last stop was Lintong. After a long search online, I booked the Haitang Yuya, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Huaqing Palace. It was so convenient to walk over to watch 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' (Changhen Ge) in the evening. After the show, we didn't have to fight for a taxi; we just strolled back to our room. The entire hotel is designed in a traditional Chinese Tang-style courtyard, with a very serene environment and excellent greenery. Walking around felt very much like being on a vacation.
I have to commend the service. The staff were very attentive. Seeing that we had a child, they proactively provided extra kids' slippers and toiletries, and always greeted us warmly whenever we met them. The breakfast was decent; not a huge variety, but good enough, and the freshly made noodles were quite tasty.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, perfect for families with kids or just for a relaxing weekend getaway. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Lintong.
”Located in the serene district of Lintong in Xi'an, the Yue Liu Hotel, affiliated with Singapore's Banyan Tree Group, is a wellness haven. Excellent
Huaqing Palace resort service staff quality is excellent. The front desk staff provided excellent service as she provided her personal WeChat number to us as we do not have a domestic China mobile number in case we need any help during our stay. She also help us to book the appointment for the free photo shoot experience as we are unable to book due to the domestic mobile number issue. The resort also provided a free birthday cake for us as my wife’s birthday falls on the same day as the resort stay. The janitor staff, transport, restaurant, and other service staff are also courteous and provided excellent service and advice. We truly enjoy our magical stay there. Additional point just for further improvement is to explain the procedures for the guests to use the public hot spring bath as some guests are first time users.
Highly recommended. It’s directly opposite.Huaqing Palace, and not far from historic site Terra Cotta Warriors and Emperor tomb. Most importantly it’s located above mall with eatery and same level as Hai Di Lao. Subway station line 9 is just opposite to return to Xi’an only cost RMB$7. The outdoor lounge was cozy and lady boss was super friendly.
I liked the fresh air I felt in the forest. You can use an electric cart if you ask the staff on your way to and from Wangfujing Outlet. When the weather gets cool, I will definitely bring my swimsuit and revisit. The ceramic dispenser in the bathroom is cute.
Everything is new, started operation 2023. Bed was very comfortable, clean, room service was excellent. Within walking distance to entrance of tai bai shan. Good for family.
The hotel environment is great, clean and tidy, and the facilities are excellent. There's even a tennis court and a large lawn. The rooms are spacious with private hot spring baths, which is very convenient, offering multi-mineral spring water. It's also very close to Mount Taibai, making it ideal for hiking.
Best location to have a visit to the terracotta army and have no big crowds around. You live in your own small house and garden and your direct neighbour is the mausoleum. The accommodation is clean and high quality. The service is very helpful and friendly.
We were in this hotel 2 days. Breakfast was very tasty, Chinese and European food and drinks. The staff is very friendly. They helped me with all the requests we had. We visited the hot springs and were very pleased, the temperature was from 30 to 50 degrees, with various additives inside: herbs, fruits and even wine. I also visited gym, its simple but functional. I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit this city and enjoy good service.
I was immediately impressed by the excellent service as soon as I stepped into the hotel. The staff greeted me warmly, made me feel welcome, and ensured my check-in was smooth and efficient. They even went out of their way to help carry my luggage to my room, which allowed me to focus on taking care of my kids. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic time during our stay, especially enjoying the indoor hot spring in our room – it was such a relaxing experience. The only downside was that we didn’t get to try the outdoor hot spring due to the rain, which is a bit of a missed opportunity. Hopefully, we’ll get to experience that next time. Overall, the hotel provided an unforgettable and relaxing stay!
The service was excellent, and every employee was even more friendly. The room was clean, the hot spring water was fresh, and the facilities were all new and clean. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall, the value for money was excellent!
