This is a hotel right in front of the ocean!!
The sound of the waves was so relaxing, and my time at the hotel was wonderful. 🥰
The lounge was filled with books, games, and drinks, so I was able to relax while gazing at the beautiful Nittsu Island right in front of me.
The food was also delicious, and I was very satisfied both in the evening and in the morning!!
The rooftop open-air bath is my top recommendation!!
The view and the quality of the spring water were both amazing!!
This is a hotel I'd love to visit again! ✨
Like other Dormy Inns, it features well-maintained guest rooms and baths. Yonaki Soba is also served in the evening. Regarding the baths, the open-air bath was very popular, and while the space was somewhat cramped compared to its popularity, I made good use of it during my stay. There is also a manga room and massage chairs on the bath floor. The location is about a 15-minute walk from Mito Station, so it is a bit far from Mito's tourist attractions such as Kairakuen Garden.
A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.
It was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the large windows offered a great view. We also got free access to the hot springs next door, so it was great value for money.
It's just the old Japanese ryokan itself! It's right in front of the station. It's close to Seven. If you speak Japanese. Convenient transportation to anywhere! The staff are also friendly! Inconvenience to use a shared refrigerator. You have to bring a personal dryer
This time I stayed at Daikumachi for a drinking party with friends. I've stayed here a few times and it's always been great. Unfortunately I couldn't take a bath this time, but the breakfast was delicious and I ate a lot. Thank you.
This is one of the inns I'd like to stay at again if I have the opportunity.
The hotel location inside is very beautiful. You can take photos from many angles in the hotel and outside the hotel. Recommended for anyone who wants to stay here. Affordable price, good value. Late night meals, free ramen until 9:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Breakfast is a buffet.
Very Japanese-style hotel
Quiet location, 13 minutes walk from the station, is a good choice to stay away from the hustle and bustle
Self-driving tour/Additional shuttle service is recommended
Toilet and bathroom need to be shared with other guests
There is a sink in the room for washing
Large room with tatami and terrace
A good choice to feel Japanese rural life
Japanese-style rooms, few people, cost-effective summer in Japan is very high. As a traditional Japanese hotel, I received welcome from locals. Most tourists are Japanese. The downside is that the rooms are small, the facilities are old, and the TV can't be seen.

Amazing
GGuest UserGorgeous views and fantastic food! A great spot! Also very close to the waterfalls and an easy hike up. Great for relaxing and enjoying seasonal foods! Was a lovely break from my typically packed itineraries. Everyone was super friendly and they had multilingual staff.

GGuest UserI used it for business. It was helpful to use a large parking lot for free. It was good because restaurants and convenience stores are close to the area (walking distance) around here.
GGuest UserI enjoyed the river fish dishes for dinner and breakfast. The shochu of sweet potatoes from where was also good.
Enter Kuroyu twice in the evening and morning, and the skin is smooth and comfortable. The difficulty was that there was no water facility in the room I booked and the toilet was far away.
On the shore of Lake Kitaura, harvesting lotus roots and fishing white fish were seen, and I was able to enjoy the walk.
