The hotel staff provided excellent service, even offering a hand-drawn map for reference. The location is incredibly convenient; whether you're coming from Gotemba Premium Outlets or taking a bus to Tokyo, you can board right at the hotel entrance. We were lucky enough to have a view of Mount Fuji from our room, which my friends absolutely loved for taking photos. The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication was seamless. The 150 JPY per person hot spring bath was an amazing value! On a weekday evening, it wasn't crowded at all, and it even had an outdoor bath. I imagine it would be absolutely beautiful if it were snowing.

The shuttle service ryokan provides after 1430 comes very handy especially with luggages and kids standing in the cold. Saves the hassle of taking the red bus line. Every room has a view of fuji-san which is just amazing. U can catch the breathtaking sunrise and sunset view right in the room. Food is perhaps the other major highlight of staying at ryokans, and the food at Fuji Ginkei are mostly hits. The kaiseki dinner is so satisfying even though they are serving in small portions. And they tasted amazing. The ryokan also included small snacks for guests to enjoy in room with sencha. They even put together a small celebration platter for us! Highly recommended. 🙌🏻

An absolutely wonderful stay! It was the perfect cozy companion for my solo trip to Mount Fuji. The location is super convenient. I took a bus from Kawaguchiko, and it was just a five-minute walk from the bus stop. Getting to the lake is also just a few minutes on foot. The service was outstanding! One of the ladies working there was incredibly attentive and caring. She even gave me a small gift and thoughtfully arranged for my e-bike to be charged, which made my 15km bike ride around the lake possible. The room was very spacious, with a small coffee table perfect for enjoying the mountain view, and another small table for eating snacks and catching up on shows. The two futons were very comfortable and offered plenty of space. The hot spring bath on the first floor was clean and relaxing. The room photos I took truly show how close it is to Mount Fuji. Breakfast isn't provided, but you can buy food at a convenience store and prepare it yourself in the dining area. I will definitely come back next time! It's a great value for money choice.

The room was clean. Amenities were provided. The breakfast was varied and delicious. It was a wonderful hotel with a Japanese feel throughout. I also used the large public bath, but there was visible dust on the fan in the changing room. The ice cream and lemon water after the bath was very good. I would like to use it again.

This is the best hotel that I ever stay!! Enjoying the Mount Fuji View early in the morning! Especially their breakfast spot you can enjoy the whole Mount Fuji View there! Only one things is staying in Grand Executive Room should be entitled the Bvlagari amenity end up they forget to put inside our room:(( A bit disappointed but lucky they bring it up for us. Others that this I really enjoy my stay here. Definitely will come back again:)))

The location is easy for travellers with cars. Otherwise shuttle bus to town is not available all the time. Breakfast is good, dinner not so much. Wet and foggy during our star so couldn’t see much views. Staff don’t speak much English which makes the stay not pleasant. Hotel facility is great, and clean, nice resort when you have car and speak Japanese.

A very lovely hotel that is a heaven for kids. They have all the necessities you might need for babies to preschooler. Great staff, all friendly and helpful and really great amenities. Located in a peaceful lovely town with very kind and friendly locals. Only gripe is that the soundproofing of the rooms are non existent! We could hear the entire conversation of the guest next door. 90% local Japanese guests but surprisingly they are not the usual polite and considerate guests. They allow their kids to run and scream down the hallways outside the rooms as early as 6am and late as 11pm, the adults themselves are talking loudly too. So, if you're a light sleeper who goes to bed early, this hotel is not for you.

While the facilities are a bit dated, the service is impeccable – attentive yet discreet. Public transport access isn't very convenient, but the location itself is absolutely superb. It's an ideal choice for self-drivers or those on a private tour, offering unbeatable value for money. Watching Mount Fuji from the room's balcony, from sunrise to moonrise, was a truly unforgettable experience!

I stayed here on a solo trip. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations beforehand. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to relax and enjoy the large public bath and sauna. Before my bath, I had curry and boiled dumplings at the restaurant on the second floor. I still felt a bit hungry after my bath, so I went to an izakaya on the second floor. The portions were good and tasty for the price, and they're open until midnight, so I had the luxurious experience of eating and drinking to my heart's content and then going straight to bed in my room. It's a facility I'd definitely like to return to.
