Hot Springs Hotels in Sabah, Malaysia

This hotel is located inside a national park, so you have to buy a 50 MYR national park ticket just to enter. It has multiple rooms, which are quite small, but the common area is very spacious. It feels more like a hostel than a proper hotel. Because it's in the national park, the outdoor environment is beautiful and the air is fresh. You can enter the park as early as 7:30 AM, and the walking trails are open all the way to the waterfall. Due to time constraints (we wanted to go to the hot spring), we only made it to the Bat Cave before turning back. The walk took us 80 minutes. There's an additional 10 MYR fee for the hot spring. Filling a private bath takes about an hour, whereas the foot baths are already filled and ready to use, which is great. The hot spring water is very pure, around 40 degrees Celsius, and very comfortable.

The owner is Chinese, pick-up and drop-off are included, the kids love the swimming pool, and there are cute squirrels. The environment is very good, natural scenery, not recommended for kids who mind mosquitoes and ants, it is hard to avoid them in tropical countries. When I first arrived in Semporna, I stayed in a hotel in town for one night. Compared with the environment and various conditions in the town, this hotel is more comfortable.
