"Upon arrival, we found out that the Ricardo Hotel was fully booked, so we had to stay in a half-empty building next door. Overall, the room wasn't bad. It had a balcony and hot water. However, there was no shower kit provided. The room description mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn't one at all. The sink drained very slowly! On our last day, there was no water in the toilet. Tom, a staff member, was very helpful and tried his best to assist us with everything we asked for. Big thanks to him 🙏. And that rooster crowing at midnight – that's a special kind of crazy! 😂 I think he's ready for the soup pot! 🙈 The hotel's location isn't ideal, but there's a 24-hour McDonald's nearby. Getting from the hotel to the town center and the pier (where boats depart for tours) costs 50-60 Philippine pesos for two people on a tricycle. The hotel staff booked a tricycle transfer for us to the pier in the morning, for our boat to El Nido. However, the driver quoted an excessively high price, comparable to what we paid for a minivan from the airport. Considering it's not a long ride at all, it was quite unpleasant. All in all, it's livable, especially considering the cost. We booked our stay not long before check-in, so we didn't have many other options."

"Good hotel with nice facilities, pool makes a difference as not much to do in local area other than tours. Room was big with good aircon. WiFi worked intermittently. However, I utilised the hotel laundry service in which they lost an item of clothing and had 2 other items mixed in which weren’t mine, staff did not do much to rectify the issue. Also booked an airport transfer with the hotel which was late, getting us to the airport an hour before our flight which was stressful. Overall nice hotel but wouldn’t recommend services offered."

"It is cheap. But cool. I liked it. There is no hot water. Just the very very basic amenities. But I liked my stay. It was chill. And the staff to be honest I didn't even see them hhh I talked with them when I checked in once and that's it. When checking out I left the key at desk. If you're broke and don't care that much. It'll be fine"
