Stayed here to go to Joshua Tree Park. The hotel is located close to the roadside, with various fast food and supermarkets nearby. I always walk 7 minutes to the nearby McDonald's for breakfast. The room is relatively large, but the decoration is very simple, and the balcony sliding door is difficult to push. The yard has palm trees, pool cacti.

This is a better hotel than more expensive hotels. I suggest to book a deluxe room which has kitchen because the hotel doesn't have restaurants, so self-cooking might be a good idea rather than finding restaurants outside. The town has only several restaurants. I note that the hotel doesn't have sauna, just a FYI.

The room is very different from the pictures on the website. The pictures on the website are not real pictures and the room is very small. When I checked in at the front desk, a room was not available until 4 o'clock. It was recommended to upgrade the room for an extra fee. Normally, the room should be given at 2 o'clock. Because I was tired from the long distance, I was not willing to wait for the extra fee to change rooms! They did not proactively provide the bill when checking out, and did not allow confirmation. After asking for a printout, they discovered that they had been charged a parking fee, and there was no car at all! After questioning, the fee will be refunded after confirmation of reply. There are other miscellaneous charges, so I won’t go into details about various taxes! The overall standard of the hotel is no more than 4 stars, and there is nothing superior except for its location on Sunset Boulevard!
