The location is excellent, the self-help traveler has to be able to pull the luggage uphill through four to five blocks. After booking on trip.com, there are some minor mistakes, because we booked the 6th floor view room, but we gave it to the hotel. The common law on the 1st floor has been changed to the original 6th floor view room after contact. The room is comfortable and it is a high-level and safe area. Next door is a well-known nightclub restaurant.

Double bed room is ok. The two large suitcases also opened completely, and the stay including breakfast was very pleasant, anyway, I was full. I'm near the side of the road, and I would feel a bit noisy if I slept early at night. Stayed three nights in total, only the first night was given free water, and the next two nights were not. Although it was not expensive, the details didn't feel good, and other accommodations in Greece gave it.

Excellent location as there are many restaurants close by. The service staff were above excellent especially Nellie and Anastasia. They make one feel welcome and like home. Always anticipating our needs and extremely helpful. If anything, the rooms were a touch on the small side but the service made up for it. Will definitely come back.

The rooms are very good, the location is extremely convenient, and there is a convenience store at the door. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation of the floors is not good, and it is very noisy when people walk around.

Breakfast: not very rich, but there are many types of bread, and canned yellow peaches Location: Not in the city center, about 1.5km to the east of the National Museum. Specifically, Syntagma Square in the city center is a bit farther, 3km, but on the airport line, walk to the airport line subway entrance 950 meters Parking: It looks like you can park at the door 🌟Highlights🌟: The service is very good! ! ! ! My luggage landed in Crete and sent it directly from Crete to this hotel, but I had not checked in at the hotel at the time. After contacting the hotel, I directly signed for the courier for me, paid the courier fee in advance, and then I supplied it to the front desk when I arrived. Touching

The hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.   The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.  The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.  The breakfast buffet was varied. The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.

GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's. Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels. The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild. They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc. MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world. The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

GGuest UserThe rooms at this hotel are nice for the price and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is near tourist hotspots like the Acropolis, Plaka and Monastiraki areas and despite this our room was quite quiet. The room had a large TV, a small closet, a work station, mini fridge, tea/coffee station and had good WiFi. The lighting was good and not too bright and the window let in a lot of natural daylight during the day. We wish the balcony had a couple of chairs on it because it is a nice area but the rooftop bar makes up for what the room balcony lacks. The bathroom had great water pressure and I felt this was one of the best showers I had during my time in Greece. The shampoo, shower gel and handsoap all smelled nice and had a touch of sea salt during our stay. The towels were clean and soft. We felt the shower could use improvement as it is a little small and it leaked water through the doors so we had to put a towel down to help with the water. The rooftop bar is fantastic and they had a good variety of well made cocktails and some non-alcoholic options. It is absolutely worth checking out and is open 24/7 but the bar is open from 6 pm to midnight. They had some good options too for food but we felt you would pay a premium here for the drinks and food compared to other restaurants in the area. We thought the view justified it as it gives one of the best views of the Acropolis and we enjoyed a very nice sunset here as well. The breakfast was decent and had enough variety. There were breakfast staples like bread, cereals, sausages, scrambled eggs and hard-boiled eggs. They also had a couple of salads, vegetables, fruit slices and some preserved fruits. They had a good selection of Greek breakfast items like yoghurt, honey, cheese and spinach pies and some desserts. The beverage station included a coffee making machine, juice and water. The staff we interacted with were welcoming and efficient. We paid the city tax on arrival and were quickly handed out room keys. At breakfast a lady came to check in on us and other guests to ask us about our stay and spoke to other guests in other languages. The hotel has a laundry service and baggage storage and had we stayed longer here we would consider trying these out. This was a good stay in Athens and we were happy with the price in March. We enjoyed being surrounded but cafes, restaurants and shops and being very close to the major sights of Athens. There are also quite a few convenience and grocerg stores nearby but many closed around 9 pm during our stay. The Monastiraki metro station is very close too and it takes about an hour to get here from the airport. You can keep using metro to get around the area too but we found it quite walkable for the activities we wanted to do.

LLdesierra Inma Von ParkerI had an excellent stay at this hotel! The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Although the room was not as large as some other hotels, it was very comfortable and well-maintained. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the Metaxourghio metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around. It’s only a few stops to Syntagma Square, where you can enjoy a lovely walk through the pedestrian street to Monastiraki. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were exceptionally helpful and even assisted us in arranging a taxi to the bus station. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, great service, and excellent breakfast!

This hotel is really good, not rare in Europe! The hotel is located at the end of the Zeus Temple, at the end of the food street. Walking to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square are 1 km away. The way to the Acropolis is full of restaurants and shops, very convenient. The hotel's facilities are complete with slippers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving foam and lotion. Just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. A kettle and tea bags are provided, and a small fridge can store the food you buy. The decoration of the hotel is also very delicate and clean, and the service is very good. The overall feeling is that there are four-star standards in China. It is really rare in Europe! It’s hoping to write a lot of useful information for my friends, because I also like the travellers who leave detailed and true comments.

GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around.

GGuest UserVery good experience! The front desk is friendly. She upgraded me to a double bed, even though I live alone. There's a bar and jacuzzi on the roof. Bath supplies are complete. Eye masks and earplugs are also provided. The decor is vintage and tasteful, with a record and a record player in the room. Breakfast dishes are extensive, with Greek yogurt and honey as well as Greek salad and feta, which are delicious.
