The room is located in a relatively quiet and safe area. It's quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's not far from Syntagma Square, and you can easily get there by walking or public transport. You can also take a pleasant walk to the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis. This hotel offers great value for money, and the breakfast is pretty good too.

The hotel is located just a 3-minute walk from the metro station, making it very convenient. It is also easy to take the train to the airport from there. We had an evening flight and arrived at the hotel after midnight, but the self check-in process provided by the hotel was clear and convenient. We were pleasantly welcomed with tasty candies in the room, which was clean and modernly decorated. It also provided all the necessary items we needed. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Excellent location, was within walking distance of the Acropolis and Parthenon.
Only down side was that Acqua Di Parma amenities were advertised but was just olive oil branded amenities when I got there.
Breakfast bar was small and simple but had enough for a light breakfast.
The lobby area is very small and was crowded when I arrived, filled with luggage. Probably not a good hotel if you are disabled. O

This four-star hotel offers excellent value for money. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were impeccable, featuring a bathtub, disposable slippers, and olive oil body lotion. The location is also great, just one metro stop from Syntagma Square. The best part, however, is the breakfast view – you can enjoy your meal with a stunning panoramic view of the Acropolis. The view is absolutely superb! I would definitely choose the Athens Gate Hotel again on my next trip to Athens.

Fantastic hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. Every day, there were dedicated staff members to help with luggage and operate the elevator. The hotel's location is in one of the best areas of Greece, so you don't have to worry about safety. There are plenty of food options nearby, and it's very close to the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient! The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is also good. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Athens.

great staff, they helped in everything and they have been really friendly a we were travelling with an infant. Location is the beast close by to everything you can expect of. Daily cleaning and newly renovated. We asked a room with window to change the air and they suggested us to upgrade, we did on trip.com and it had been a good choice. Some noisy pub next door but it was okay after midnight.

The room was small; what they called a triple occupancy just meant an extra sofa. Luckily, there was plenty of counter space to put our things. Housekeeping came every two days, and we got mineral water upon check-in based on the number of guests, but it wasn't replenished during our stay. However, there's free water available on the first floor.
There's a supermarket on the street behind the hotel, making it easy to buy water for 0.15 Euros. Convenience stores nearby charge 1 Euro. The surroundings aren't particularly scenic, just a regular street, a bit cluttered, like a third-tier city in China. The safety was fine; I was a bit nervous before coming, but there was nothing to worry about. It's close to the Acropolis, which is very convenient for sightseeing. There's a Chinese restaurant not far to the right when you exit, and also one towards the Acropolis.
I just felt the value for money was really low. For this price, you could stay in a five-star hotel in China, but here it's just a budget hotel. It is what it is, I guess.
Hardly needed any cash; credit cards were accepted everywhere.
**Cleanliness:** Decent, clean and tidy.
**Service:** Everyone greeted us upon entering and exiting, very enthusiastic.

Stayed here 2X, before and after our Greece cruise. Front desk staff and bellhops were amazing. Very clean lobby and elevators and hallways. Rooms were absolutely amazing. We were never planning on coming back, but this hotel made the decision to come back in the future easy. Easy walking distance to local restaurants, bars, breweries, cafe's, and the Parthenon. Keep up the great work. Best hotel we stayed at on our 24 day European vacation.
Super invincible, the hotel is very clean and large, the roof is very high and super comfortable! It is very close to the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis. The boss is also very nice, highly recommended!!!
The hotel is located near a busy road. The hotel is located within walking distance of fun neighbourhoods like Plaka and Monastiráki. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was small but had a good assortiment. However not all pastries seemed fresh. Our biggest let down was the room. Our room was located on the ground floor, next to the elevator. The room was quite dark and very noisy.
Relative new and modern hotel, 10 mins walk close to Acropolis, museum and slopes; price for value including nice breakfast, having small gym & sunna though it could be a bit noise if having a room facing the Main Street (provided ear plugs if needed).
