We arrived after 10 PM. I was a bit hesitant about taking a taxi, as I'd seen previous guest comments mentioning safety concerns. However, the area around the airport metro station was quite lively, and the hotel was just a short walk, a few hundred meters, off the main road. The front desk staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Once we got into our room and saw the Acropolis lit up at night, all my worries completely melted away.

very cheap and i am satisfied for what they provide with this money. room has a sink and a terrace that is a plus for cheapest public bathroom dorm. great city center location for everywhere.

The location is incredibly convenient! We could walk to the Acropolis easily, and during our entire stay we didn’t spend any money on transportation at all. Right downstairs from the apartment was a lively neighborhood filled with everything you could need: breakfast spots, wine bars, seafood restaurants, grocery stores, self-service laundromats, and souvenir shops. We even got our hair done at a fantastic salon nearby. Although the check-in and check-out process was self-service, the hotel provided very detailed and helpful local information. The restaurant recommendations were excellent, the Wi-Fi connection was very easy to use, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The facilities were also thoughtfully prepared, with all kinds of plates, bowls, and wine glasses available. There was even a walk-in closet and a first-aid kit, which made the stay feel especially well-equipped and comfortable.

1. Get off the plane and exit from Exit 3, go over the overpass, and then go to the subway station and buy at Monastiraki Station. I spent 9 euros. The price should be different in off-season and peak season. This should be similar to the airport express line in Beijing. It is different from the price of ordinary subways. It will be more expensive, but it is more cost-effective than taking a taxi. It takes about 40 euros to take a taxi here. 2. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the subway station. Be sure to pay attention to the small doorplate of this hotel, please observe carefully. 3. I am a girl traveling alone, and my English is very poor. I rely on mobile phone translation and body language to express. The front desk here will patiently tell you the answer. In general, I am very satisfied. 4. The hygiene is very clean, and I think the room should be newly renovated, which is still good, but there is no kettle. If you want to drink hot water, you still have to bring a folding kettle yourself. I brought it in China. There is no toothbrush and toothpaste, so you have to bring your own. No free mineral water is provided. 5. I think the public security is still good, but I have never gone out at night, so I am not sure at night! It was pretty good during the day. I stayed for 3 days and it was pretty good. The front desk will get off work at 10pm, start working at 6am, and lock the door at 12pm. 6. This is actually the city center. The central square is right outside the subway station. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the Acropolis. I walk very slowly, and it’s only 1.6 kilometers away from Constitution Square. So I don’t think it makes much difference to book a hotel near Constitution Square. It’s just a matter of the left and right sides of the city center.

I had a great stay at this hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the food was genuinely impressive with good variety and taste. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The only thing I missed was having Type‑C charging ports in the room, which would have made things more convenient. However, the team provided a charger immediately when I requested one, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. Would happily stay again.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. I checked in at 6:00 in the morning because my flight didn't arrive until 3:00. Then I went to see the sunrise. After that, the lady didn't let me sleep in the city and kept my luggage for free.

The Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok. It has the most amazing rooftop with Athens’ best kept secret bar and view of the acropolis that you won’t ever forget. Rooms are good, (we stayed in 507 & 506), not too big, however Athens is old so it’s ok for what you need and I am picky. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean and fresh towels, the bathroom is small but water is hot and water pressure perfect. Great location, just off a small street and so close to Monastiraki Square in Athens which is less than 100 meters away. Close to a supermarket, cafe’s everywhere (you have to get yourself a real Greek coffee- now that’s a caffeine hit you will need after travelling 😉) and there is amazing authentic Greek Food all around. I recommend Nikos Tavern just pass the church in the square and left up the alley. It one of the oldest, and I was there 32 years ago. You will see all the tables and chairs!! Attalos is walking distance to all the sights you need to see, like the acropolis and museums and train station are right nearby. I will definitely stay here again ever time I visit Athens on my way to the Peloponnese. What a great memory, Thanks guys!!

The location of the hotel is not too bad, quite near to the train station and about 15 minutes away from the Acropolis. Check-in and check-out were easy and the facilities were good. However, a major issue was that there were 2 blackouts throughout the evening, with the 2nd blackout lasting more than 7 hours from 2130H to 0500H the next morning. I had no choice but to sleep in my cold room as there was no heating, no lights and no electricity available. Overall, a rough night of sleep but if they can ensure that there are no blackouts, then this is easily a decent 4 star hotel.
