Hotels in Syntagma Square, Athens

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the bustling commercial street in front of Constitution Square. My flight was delayed, so I arrived quite late, around midnight, but the self-check-in with a password was super convenient! The terrace room on the top floor was very clean and well-equipped with water, coffee/tea bags, and even disposable toothbrushes and toiletries, which is quite comprehensive for a European hotel. The large terrace was incredibly comfortable! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance to return!

The room is small and the living room is large. The air conditioner on the top of the bed we sleep on is a bit leaky, so the squat can turn around and sleep. Our arrival time is more than 12 o'clock in the middle of the night and we have to walk for eight minutes to pay the tax of 1.5 Euro. It is a bit tired, all self-service

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city's main commercial district, which is a fantastic spot. The facilities are brand new, and the service is great. It's directly opposite Syntagma Square, and you can easily walk to the Acropolis, the nearby Attica department store, or the luxury shopping street. It's incredibly convenient! Plus, the breakfast restaurant offers an amazing view of the Parthenon on the Acropolis, which is even better than seeing it from the base of the hill. 🏛️

There's a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant right across from the guesthouse, which is rare in Greece, and a bar. It's within walking distance of Syntagma Square, but the guesthouse has three keys to get in, which is a bit of a hassle.

The room has a lot of character, and it seems like a movie was filmed here. Breakfast is pretty standard. The location is excellent, right on the pedestrian street. The rooftop viewing platform is just okay, nothing special with the glass.

The hotel is in a very good location, which is near the Syntagma Square and Plaka old town and is in walking distance to Athens Acropolis and other major attractions. The room is large and also let you feel very comfortable, equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee maker. More importantly, the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, who give detailed instructions and support promptly at all times. In fact, we have been staying at the same hotel after the first stay.

Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, especially the super sweet fruit – the kiwi and mango were already peeled, which was a nice touch. The desserts were delicious too. The bathroom counter was huge, perfect for women. My room had a small desk right by the window, from which I could watch the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed sitting there and reading. Being so close to Syntagma Square, the X95 airport bus stop is just a 2-3 minute walk away, about 200 meters. The path is flat with no inclines or declines, making it easy to manage with luggage. All the major attractions are within walking distance. Across the street is the National Garden, and there's a metro station nearby – incredibly convenient! The rooftop cafe and balcony offer stunning views of the Acropolis, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Parliament building. I even spent New Year's Eve on the rooftop watching the fireworks. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location is fantastic! The hotel is right around Syntagma Square, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. The Acropolis is also within walking distance. The room was clean, tidy, and a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !

It’s a three-minute walk from Syntagma metro station, or X95 bus stop. A lots of good restaurants nearby. We walked to Acropolis and other major attractions. Check-in process was excellent and easy. The room is large with a lounge, a kitchen and a balcony with a view to the Acropolis. The only issue was that the air-conditioning unit in the apartment wasn’t working properly. It was very difficult to operate.
