Amenities: Slippers and toothbrushes were provided, which was great. They also offered drinks and water, which was a real bonus. The elevator was a bit small, but that can't be helped. On the downside, there was no free luggage storage. Cleanliness: Our room on the 7th floor was fine, but the room on the 5th floor had a lot of ants. Location: The location was excellent, very convenient for getting around and also easy to reach from the airport. Plenty of dining options nearby too. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions.

The hotel breakfast included Turkish coffee, which you could brew yourself. My single room was quite quiet, but the twin room with a balcony faced the main road and park, so it could still get noisy at night. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and they even had fresh orange juice. The hotel also thoughtfully provided us with a packed breakfast for our early morning flight, which was a very nice touch. Thank you!

The room is small and the living room is large. The air conditioner on the top of the bed we sleep on is a bit leaky, so the squat can turn around and sleep. Our arrival time is more than 12 o'clock in the middle of the night and we have to walk for eight minutes to pay the tax of 1.5 Euro. It is a bit tired, all self-service

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the main street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Syntagma Square metro station. The older gentleman at the front desk initially seemed a bit discriminatory, assigning us a room right next to the elevator which also had an unpleasant odor. After we requested a change, he gave us a balcony room. The hotel features a rooftop bar where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning night views of the Acropolis. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount there.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! I was initially hesitant to book it because there was only one review. However, its location is excellent, very close to the airport bus station, so I decided to stay here. Check-in was smooth sailing – the login code was sent via email. The front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel is very new and modern, with a large table for storage and plenty of space to pack luggage. The bedding was excellent and comfortable. Although it's near the pedestrian street, the windows don't face the street, making it very quiet at night. There are many shops nearby, and a bakery opens early in the morning. The X95 bus to the airport takes only an hour, much better than squeezing onto the subway. It's also close to attractions, and there's a bar and restaurant nearby with amazing food. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel room was fine, and the service at the 7th-floor restaurant during breakfast hours was acceptable, but the service was poor in the evening. Since my friend said the Acropolis looked beautiful from the restaurant in the evening, we went to Elysium Rooftop dining & cocktails for dinner on our first day. After finishing the salad, my friend wanted to change the plates, but the waitress asked if we had ordered a main course. She said if so, a plate would be provided shortly (referring to the main course plate). However, we had ordered more than one main course and needed extra plates to share, but she only said that a plate would be provided for the main course and refused to provide extra plates. We also ordered bread, which normally arrives first, but we hadn't received any even though we were almost finished with the main course. My friend asked the waitress to check if we had missed ordering, but the waitress didn't even finish her sentence before replying ”Of course” and leaving! Very rude! Finally, the bread arrived, and it looked the way we wanted. We didn't bother changing it, worried about what it would look like if we changed it again. My friend reluctantly ate two pieces. When it came time to pay, the waiter just brought over a credit card machine without any receipt. My friend asked to see the receipt, and the waiter paused for a few seconds before saying the receipt would be provided after payment. It was ridiculous; what kind of logic is that? And I remember that in Greece, many menus state that customers do not need to pay before seeing the bill. Anyway, the service at this restaurant was terrible, but perhaps because we're Asian, other customers at other tables didn't experience this problem!

A very last-minute booking, but communication with the owner was good. The location to Syntagma square along with metro/bus links was perfect. The apartment was clean, well equipped and suited my requirements perfectly. I would stay at this property again when staying in Athens.

Highly recommended! It's very clean and cozy, and surprisingly affordable. I didn't have high expectations, but it definitely exceeded them. I'm not a shill, just a happy customer! Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own toiletries as they don't provide disposables. The bedding was comfortable and very clean; I actually spilled water on the floor during my stay and when I wiped it up, I noticed how pristine it was, even the paper was white (which is rare!). Definitely recommend for Chinese travelers.

The Hotel Athena is perfectly located for exploring Athens, with professional, attentive and efficient staff. Rooms are immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed for actual use, avoiding common irritations such as unnecessary and unhygienic cushions cluttering the bed or the pointless tucking of the duvet at the sides. The breakfast room on the 10th floor is a real highlight, serving a generous spread of continental and cooked options alongside impressive views of the Acropolis. A perfect choice for visitors prioritising location and unpretentious hospitality.

Nothing to complain about! Great location. Great service. The staffs are super nice! Very nice & clean hotel even the lift is super small. Breakfast is as normal 3 stars hotel serving. You paid for what you get! I definitely will stay here again if got chance to visit Athens.
