Mo Shang Yi Su, though called a B&B, has long surpassed the typical 'agritainment' style. Its facilities rival those of a star-rated hotel, but with an added warmth and human touch that high-end hotels often lack. When I wanted to visit the Shaolin Temple scenic area, the proprietress said, ”Wait a moment, I'll drive you there.” Upon getting out, she didn't forget to remind me, ”Remember to call me when you're done, and I'll pick you up.” It was only about 600-700 meters, but it was incredibly heartwarming.
As the sun set, the proprietress had already hosed down the rooftop terrace, suggesting we could go up and sit. After dinner, the entire B&B was filled with the scent of agarwood. Each floor also had an elegant tea room.
After a day of sightseeing, the proprietress asked, ”What would you like to eat? We'll cook for you.” After ordering, she said, ”You can go back to your room first, we'll call you when the food is ready.” It truly felt like being at home.
Before I left, the proprietress thoughtfully gave me a parting gift, allowing me to take some of that warmth home with me.
As I checked out, the second-generation young man who drove me to the station shared some simple yet profound words: ”When we run a B&B, we don't compete with farm stays. We just focus on providing excellent service. We try our best to meet our guests' needs. If there's something we can't do, we find someone to help. And for requests guests haven't even made, we try to be thoughtful and proactive, striving to ensure guests leave with no regrets.”

"It's very clean inside the B&B. There will be small hairs on the sheets, which may be related to the way the sheets are washed. Overall it's still very clean. Cave rooms will smell bad. Because it is one floor, it is relatively airtight. Later I changed to a mountain view room. The situation has greatly improved. The room facilities are relatively old and the bed will creak, but overall it is very quiet. Good for sleeping. It's very close to the scenic spot, just across the road. There was nothing else in the room except two bottles of water. You can make phone calls if required. It is recommended to establish WeChat contact when staying at the hotel, which will be more convenient."

It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. "In the last business with limited rooms, we had no choice but to rent a tent. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that it was cheaper than online and there were rooms available. Because it rains, the tent is thrown directly on the ground and cannot be used without a platform. At night, I was forced to take my tent jacket and sleep on the floor in the suite. When I tried to take my own tent items to my room, I was stopped by the waiter! When we checked out, we asked for compensation because we lost a towel and stained a pillowcase! I said we wouldn't steal one of your recycled towels! The waiter said that the towels are disposable and not recycled, so we shouldn't be compensated, right? About the pillowcase. We're only staying for one night. What can I do with your pillowcase? Did you get any lipstick on it? You don’t have any children, so just clean it if it’s dirty! The waiter said that it costs money for us to clean the place and you have to pay the cleaning fee! I'm really impressed. I booked your hotel to watch the Shaolin performance. Don't you know the location and charges of your hotel? It's so unreasonable for such an expensive hotel! No one will steal the used towels that have been recycled and disinfected! Does your hotel charge separately for cleaning bedding? I won't recommend friends to stay there. It's very convenient to take a taxi to see a show without having to stay in this expensive and deceptive place. He looks like he has never seen the world."

"Parking: There's a spacious parking lot right in the hotel courtyard, making it very easy to park.
Service: The staff were very attentive. When we checked out, we were holding our down jackets, and they proactively offered us bags for them. The hotel also offers one complimentary pick-up or drop-off service per day. When I made my reservation, the staff member kindly suggested I could choose a further location for the service, which would be more cost-effective.
Amenities: The room featured smart home technology, and it was a thoughtful touch that the lights automatically turned on as soon as you opened the door, even without inserting a key card. The toothbrushes were color-coded for easy identification, and there was plenty of storage space, which is great for families. The slippers were also of excellent quality.
Breakfast: The breakfast spread was comprehensive, offering both common Chinese and Western options. The spicy soup (Hulatang) was delicious, and they even had savory pancakes (Jiangxiangbing) and steamed red dates, all of which tasted great. Our whole family of three gave it a unanimous thumbs up.
Overall: It exceeded our expectations. If we have the chance to visit again, we would definitely choose to stay here."

As soon as I enter, family members come out to greet me and help me with my bags. The young men and women at the front desk are lovely and gentle, attentively asking about my needs. The room experience must be praised this time. I recommend it to everyone. I often sleep insomnia. I wake up with a little movement. I walk back at night and make a pot of tea at the boss’s tea table. I feel that my heart is particularly quiet. The quiet cockroaches around at night can hear the birds and frogs. The environment of the homestay is too healing. The courtyard is full of flowers, surrounded by green mountains, full of good scenery, sitting down and drinking a cup of tea is particularly pleasant, especially suitable for emptying solitude, meditation and relaxation.
The location is particularly dominant, very close to Shaolin Temple, and convenient to the visitor center. I thought that the road in the mountains was not easy to walk, but I didn't expect the road conditions to be particularly smooth, and there was no pressure to drive.
Parking is particularly worry-free. The breakfast is simple, the home-cooked taste is simple and delicious, the food is very comfortable, and I drank three bowls.

The location is incredibly convenient for tourists! The bus terminal for Shaolin Temple and Songyang Academy is right nearby, and it's easy to catch a taxi too. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around, and you can even take an evening stroll. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area. They even provide eight bottles of water in the room, and the zero-pressure mattress is super comfortable. It was a very convenient stay.

Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better, especially Wang Jing who could speak English and helped us with translation. They even let us use the hot springs and pool after our checkout. The restaurant served delicious food at a very comfortable price. I stayed in a Mongolian type room and it was a great experience, very clean and confortable. I will definitely come back!

The hotel is nice, cosy, and comfortable. The location is a bit far from the Shaolin scenic area, but it’s easy to get around using DiDi. It really depends on the purpose of your trip—if you’re visiting for business, this would be a great place to stay. The staff are friendly, and there is a wide variety of food options nearby. Recommended!

訂了兩間房，一間已經點評過了，房間和老闆都很不錯沒話説。這條給第一次去少林寺玩的朋友攻略一下，索道一定要坐少林線，不要買來回，可以三皇寨下山，不走回頭路，不然坐索道要返回，三皇寨下來兩個接駁車回到遊客中心，再坐遊客中心接駁車就可以又回到少林入口了。三皇寨下已然累死真佩服三皇寨上山的，尤其是長者感覺不是很適合。
