"The hotel is very close to Shaolin Temple. However, it's split into several buildings, which makes getting around quite inconvenient, especially on a rainy, windy, and cold day when you're lugging luggage and trying to get to building #3 with an umbrella. It's really, really inconvenient. You have to walk to building #1 to get in and out, or stand by the roadside in the cold wind waiting for a car. The hygiene was okay, but the room didn't even have a fridge or a smart toilet, which honestly makes it fall short compared to other hotels."

"Mo Shang Yi Su was the perfect base for our Shaolin Temple trip! The location was super convenient, making it easy to travel back and forth to the temple. After returning, we enjoyed tea and conversation in the tea room, and the herbal foot soak was amazing for relieving fatigue. Our child also got to practice calligraphy in the sunroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The laundry room and multi-functional fitness equipment were also a huge convenience. We had a wonderfully comfortable two-day stay here and highly recommend it!"

"It is our first time in China - it was a great stay - owner is very helpful - helped us to organise the tickets to Zen Music Festival, and she showed us the attractions in the area, we enjoyed the food - traditional breakfast, we had traditional hot pot for the dinner - great experience, also she made for us in the evening traditional tea (Pu-erh, and green tea) - unforgettable moments. Thank you very much for the hospitality."

"This hotel offers great value for money. The environment and facilities are good, and I'm very satisfied considering the price. They have a laundry room, charging stations, and a small convenience store downstairs, which is very handy. I'd recommend parking your car here during holidays and taking a taxi to the scenic spots; it's more convenient and saves time. The only reason I didn't give it full marks is because there was a family dispute in the room next door late at night, with a lot of shouting after midnight. It was really noisy. I called the front desk multiple times, and although it was eventually resolved, the hotel didn't offer any apologies or explanation the next day."

"Parking: There's a spacious parking lot right in the hotel courtyard, making it very easy to park. Service: The staff were very attentive. When we checked out, we were holding our down jackets, and they proactively offered us bags for them. The hotel also offers one complimentary pick-up or drop-off service per day. When I made my reservation, the staff member kindly suggested I could choose a further location for the service, which would be more cost-effective. Amenities: The room featured smart home technology, and it was a thoughtful touch that the lights automatically turned on as soon as you opened the door, even without inserting a key card. The toothbrushes were color-coded for easy identification, and there was plenty of storage space, which is great for families. The slippers were also of excellent quality. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was comprehensive, offering both common Chinese and Western options. The spicy soup (Hulatang) was delicious, and they even had savory pancakes (Jiangxiangbing) and steamed red dates, all of which tasted great. Our whole family of three gave it a unanimous thumbs up. Overall: It exceeded our expectations. If we have the chance to visit again, we would definitely choose to stay here."

"It was pretty good. The bed was fine, the cleanliness met standards, and there was plenty of hot water. The bathroom facilities were a bit old and odd, but considering the price, it was acceptable. The breakfast was filling, and the self-service egg-frying machine was quite interesting. The hotel had a washing machine and dryer, which saved me after being soaked for two consecutive days in heavy rain. However, there was only one of each, so you had to be quick to use them."

"The location is amazing and up until the last few hours we were very satisfied with our stay. They gave a free upgrade to their newly refurbished 4th floor and that room really was awesome. We were not aware they cooked dinner well so we are out but should have dined at the Homestay. Breakfast was very simple but satisfying. They provide a transfer to Shaolin in a super nice car and plenty of free water to take with you during the day. So far so good. Now perhaps we are lost in translation but we indicated having a ride to our next stop charging between 260 and 380 through the didi app. Waaayyyy to expensive they said and offered to call a cab. The cab however was 445, a much higher rate. All rates included the toll. We asked about the type of car and were shown a luxury car. That car and that price were similar to didi premier so we said okay. Then they said it would take half an hour. We didn’t want that so said we would just go for the didi. They then said the taxi would be there faster. As you may guess; it was not. We ended up waiting well over half an hour and the taxi was a regular taxi. They ride was good, driver friendly etc but we felt a bit off about the way this went down. Again: could be lost in translation here so if you just arrange your own ride you will have an awesome stay with them. Ask for the nice room on floor 4! Picture is the view from our room."

"I brought my parents to Dengfeng for a weekend trip to Mount Song, and after comparing several options, we chose Zhongzhou Huading Hotel. As soon as we entered, we were captivated by the hotel's traditional Chinese architectural style. It's a garden-style hotel that combines a restaurant and accommodation. Upon entering the lobby, a concierge immediately helped us with our luggage and directed us to the front desk for check-in. Ms. Jiao Luyu at the front desk assisted us, providing smiling service throughout. She answered all our questions, helped coordinate our rooms, and processed everything quickly and with a very friendly attitude. After dinner at the restaurant, we returned to our room, which offered views of the Songshan mountain range. Enjoying tea on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is also very close to Mount Song and Shaolin Temple, making it convenient for driving. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Dengfeng."
