"I'm a clean freak, so I stayed at the Hanting Hotel. Haha, Hanting's hygiene is definitely top-notch; it was spotless inside and out. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and in addition to the two bottles of drinking water in the room, they also gave me two complimentary bottles of hot water every day. Very convenient, it's a six-minute walk from the bus station, and taxis to several attractions are quick. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, I was too tired from hiking and forgot to take pictures when I got back. Oh, and the breakfast was very plentiful! Spicy soup, porridge, eggs, milk, cold dishes, hot dishes, fried eggs—lots of choices."

"This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it."

"Location was great for getting to hiking trails on Songshan, transportation was convenient and easy for Xiaolin Temple as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was also quite good. The room itself was a little worn and clearly a bit old. Sheets had small holes but were clean. I think it was all fine considering the cheap price. My only real complaint is that there’s an odor that sometimes comes from the bathroom drain. Since there’s no door separating the bathroom and the bedroom (just a curtain) the odor also comes into the main room."

"It's in an alley, but the sign is clear and can be seen from the opposite side of Shaolin Avenue. We arrived before dawn, and the boss came out from his sleep to open the door for us and let us store our luggage. He was such a nice guy. We came back after climbing the mountain in the afternoon and checked in at around 5 o'clock. They also helped us upgrade the room. The room was so beautiful and clean. Thank you again, Jiayun Ruishe gave me wonderful memories of this trip."

The owner of the homestay is very friendly and helpful, willing to provide information and suggestions on tours and transportations. Definitely will choose this homestay if I visit the city again."

The receptionist was extremely helpful and helped us book taxis to the various tourist attractions and a bus to the high speed train station at the end of our stay. We also got these cards and a note to show the taxi driver so they would know how to find the hotel. Worked perfectly!"

We arrived at Songshan in the evening and wanted to rest in the hotel before climbing Songshan at night. The boss came out to pick me up late at night and even took me to the foot of the mountain! ! ! After the climb in the morning, they took me back to the hotel, which was really awesome! ! The lady boss came into the hotel and said ”treat this place like home” and I burst into tears Another small tip is, remember to turn on the water heater before going ~ otherwise you may not be able to take a warm bath in time hahaha

Very close to Sanhuangzhai, at the foot of the mountain, after climbing the mountain, I just stayed tired. A family of four lived in a parent-child room. The room was clean, the whole house was smart, the boss was very enthusiastic, the dinner boss personally cooked, the price was fair, the taste of the dishes was good and the weight was large. After dinner, you can take a walk nearby. There are mountains on both sides, the air is very good and cool, the breakfast boss will also fried two side dishes, with eggs, soy milk, corn porridge, eating very comfortable, the experience is very good

Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

I came to Dengfeng to play during the holiday and found this homestay hotel by chance. The check-in experience was directly full. It was quite good in all aspects and the price was special! The hotel is a simple and cured Chinese decoration style. The tea room reading room laundry room is all available. The soft decoration is exquisite and warm. The room is spacious and bright, with good lighting. The details are full of care. There is no smell at all. The sanitation is spotless. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Living is more comfortable than at home. The most surprising thing is the hotel's robot service, which is simply a lazy gospel! Intimate and cute! I want to order takeaway at night, it is convenient and efficient to pick up meals, there is no contact throughout the whole process, both hygienic and ritual, and children like to turn around the robot! In addition to robot service, the staff's attitude is also very good, warm and patient, when you check in, take the initiative to introduce Dengfeng play guide, there is no perfunctory feeling. The location of the hotel is also very good, there is a gas station opposite, it is convenient to travel, it takes ten minutes to drive to Shaolin Temple. As a newly opened B&B hotel, it is really rare to be so perfect, and the environment, health and service are impeccable. Next time I come to Dengfeng, I will definitely choose here! The village is very quiet at night. It’s good to go to the Shaolin Temple early in the morning after a good night’s sleep. There aren’t many people there. The boss is very enthusiastic. The B&B is only more than 800 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot, so I must pick him up. After we had fun the next day, we went to Zhengzhou, and the boss even rode a small electric donkey to deliver our luggage to us.

Booked it to be closer to Shaolin Temple. It's very close to the mountain gate and you can walk to the mountain gate. But you still need to buy a sightseeing bus to the Shaolin Temple Permanent Hospital and Pagoda Forest, otherwise it takes a long time to walk. The hotel has its own restaurant, which is quite convenient.
