"The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen."

1. Service: All the staff at the hotel provided very thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive service. Everyone had a sunny smile on their face and was able to respond to our needs immediately at any time.
2. Facilities: The hotel room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries in the bathroom were also of good quality. The TV had many channels, and the KTV added another layer of fun for us.
3. Breakfast: It was incredibly rich and very delicious; we still can't stop thinking about it.

"The constant temperature detector flashes red once every 20 seconds. The screen displaying the temperature on the air conditioner is too bright. Guests should be provided with a thick cardboard cover that they can cover with thick paper or thick sticky notes. The small refrigerator motor is also quite loud when running, which will affect guests' sleep. Thank you!"

"The B&B offers excellent pier and airport transfer services! As soon as I booked the room, I contacted them to arrange the pick-up time, and the owner replied very quickly, which was a great relief for us traveling with large luggage. The beds and pillows at the B&B were just right – not too soft, not too firm – making for a comfortable sleep. Breakfast included steamed buns, soy milk, fresh milk, and steamed eggs; it was simple yet nutritious, and the meat buns were delicious. We mentioned wanting to rent a scooter, and after we checked in, the owner thoughtfully waited downstairs to drive us to the scooter rental shop, saving us a considerable amount on taxi fares. If we ever visit Kinmen again, we'll definitely choose to stay here. Highly, highly recommend!"

"The room was very clean and tidy. Health is also very good. The price is also right. The location is 10 minutes away from the city. Carrefour is next to the homestay, which is very convenient. In general, the price is very high, to play in Golden Gate, it is highly recommended.
What I want to say is that the boss is better. We temporarily changed the itinerary the next afternoon, so we didn't book this homestay and booked another one. Luggage is sent at the homestay and went out to play during the day. We went back to pick up our luggage late at night. The boss heard us go back to pick up our luggage and quickly came out to say hello. Since the electric car can't get off the luggage, the suitcase is very big, and it rains again. The boss quickly rode his own motorcycle to see if it could be stuffed. Very enthusiastic to help us find a way. In the end, his car stuffed our suitcase. It was raining all the way to help us carry our luggage to another homestay. Going back in the rain again. I am really touched. Thank you for going out and meeting such a good person. 🙏 Otherwise, I don't know how to bring my luggage back that night. Because I can't get a taxi at night. May the boss's business be booming. Thank you for your help this night. Next time I go to Jinmen, I will definitely stay at your home. 👍"

"Stayed at Dongdianhong B&B for two nights, and now I think back, my heart is still warm. The boss and the proprietress are like the elders of the neighboring family. They don't talk much but they are thoughtful everywhere. Every day they go out, they will carefully tell us to bring water and pay attention to sun protection.
What touched me most was the day before I left, because the weather was too hot and I accidentally had heatstroke, and the whole person was dizzy. The boss didn't say anything, personally drove me to deal with it, and he always cared about my state along the way. It is really unforgettable to encounter such kindness in a foreign country.
The room was clean and comfortable and the location was quiet. If you come to Golden Gate, what you want is not a room, but a humane place to stay. It is right to choose here. Thanks for taking care, I will definitely come again next time!"

The homestay is very clean, it can be said to be spotless, the bedding is very skin-friendly and super comfortable, I feel that it has been dried, it is not the kind of quilt that has a musty smell and is difficult to cover, the service attitude is also very good, what problems are encountered after check-in are instant reply, That night, a big flying insect suddenly appeared in the room. I told the hotel that the hotel immediately sent someone to help me catch the insects and let me sleep well. I will stay in this room next time I come to Golden Gate.

Very exquisite and warm homestay ～ The beautiful environment makes people feel happy. The service is also quite intimate. The plants in the homestay are carefully designed and planted by the boss himself. The breakfast provided is also quite exquisite and rich in local characteristics. A wonderful stay experience! Guest UserOur 1st trip to Kinmen, so happy that we picked this place to stay. The B&B is only a bit more than a year old. Nicely decorated. Modern. The hostess helped us arrange the scooter rental and taxi/tour driver, better price than book direct. The room is spacious, the bed is huge (M3), the location is mins walk to restaurants and attractions in town. Definitely would recommend this place.

Guest UserThe B&B is in a great location, very close to Kinmen University and the Huxia Seawall. Plus, downstairs they even have bread, snacks, and coffee available! That's incredibly thoughtful. My stay was excellent; the bed was big and the bedding very clean. It completely surpasses any hostel I've stayed at in mainland China – truly friendly and comfortable for a solo traveler. My three days in Kinmen were so relaxing. Next time, I'll pick a sunny day to come again! And I'll definitely stay here again; this place is genuinely great!! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)

Guest UserThe homestay is in a great location. It is very convenient with a 7-11, a Family Mart, and a supermarket nearby. About 10 minutes walk to the town center and bus terminal. Many restaurant choices in town. The owner of the homestay provided a free ride to the Kinmen-Xiamen ferry pier, which was wonderful as there are only taxi services available on the island. Uber does not operate in Kinmen

小民1號This trip to Xiamen was arranged via the ”Mini Three Links” from Kinmen. The Kinmen itinerary included 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation at the Kinmen Shimei Resort. The facilities and services were excellent (a triple room had 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen). A special commendable aspect was the breakfast service; the chefs and staff provided detailed explanations on how to heat the food to enhance its flavor. It showed a genuine dedication to serving guests (this embodies the spirit of Kinmen – hospitality and treating tourists like family and friends) – truly admirable! The only drawback was the resort's remote location (far from Kinmen city, the airport, and Shuitou Wharf). Improvements in facilities and services are needed – such as free airport shuttle service and discounted taxi/motorcycle rentals. These are just my personal opinions, suggestions, and thoughts; I hope they are helpful. Finally, I wish everyone a happy, safe, and enjoyable trip!

The owner went above and beyond by personally driving me to a money changer, as Kinmen is not yet fully cashless—most merchants and taxis still rely on cash transactions, with limited card payment options. The property itself is spotless, well-maintained, and offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a comfortable and restful stay. I strongly recommend this place for visitors who need a quiet n clean place to stay on your vacation here in Kinmen.

Nice little hotel not too far from the city and right next to the beach. The room is simple but cozy and has a balcony (that is shared with the neighbours room). The walls are very thin so you can hear everything that is happening in the hotel. Wifi wasn't reaching our room very well - not suitable for work or streaming.
The owner is kind and helpful.

Martin Anthony MiszerakAn extremely comfortable, albeit not luxury hotel. Extremely clean and managed by a very friendly and helpful staff. For me, it was a great place to get away from the nearby Xiamen and enjoy free internet. Maybe the choice of dining in the vicinity is not exceptional, but I managed to find a cozy noodle place, managed by some local Kinmen residents who nevertheless spoke some English. Finally, a great value for money. Highly recommended.
