"This is probably one of the best hotels in the area, and it's very conveniently located. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast offers a wide variety, including hot and cold beverages and coffee. There are plenty of staff, and the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk was particularly helpful. He told us about some great local restaurants, and on the day we checked in, it was very foggy and humid. He kindly advised us to wear masks when going out to avoid inhaling too much moisture, which was very thoughtful. My only minor suggestion for the hotel is regarding the gym equipment on the second floor near the entrance. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Perhaps it could be moved to a different spot, as it was quite chilly checking in with the main doors wide open on such a day."

"I can't believe it's 2025, and there are still such wonderful hostels in China: bookstores, music, drinks, courtyards, and incredibly cool owners... a cultural utopia in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It's a haven of cleanliness, a great location, excellent amenities, and a remarkably quiet environment. I hope Luoping 97 Bookstore Hostel stays open for a hundred years! Right now, I'm at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport T3 Terminal, about to board a Xiamen Airlines flight back to Nanjing. Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan are a hub of delicious food and a gathering place for all kinds of culinary experts. This isn't my first time here, and it won't be my last. By the way, the hostel owner told me about the Time YHA Hostel in Yongyuan Alley next to the Presidential Palace in Nanjing. That's where my stays at China International Youth Hostels began, the place where a beautiful dream started... "I just opened last year and there were orange fruits at the front desk. This time I didn’t come. The front desk said that it was a reward for the opening. The boss himself went to Guangxi to pick the sugar orange for free to provide guests. Now it is not the season. "Family, you absolutely must stay at this mountain hotel when you come to Luoping! I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered the room. It was incredibly spacious, unlike the cramped feeling of other hotels. The room was spotless, the bed was tidy, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The building's unique design, with its irregular shape blending perfectly with nature, and many clever design elements, like a clothes rack made of tree branches and a washbasin made of stone, were particularly creative. I was also very reassured by the cleanliness of the food. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking methods were healthy, making every bite a satisfying and reassuring experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help from check-in to check-out. There's a large parking lot right outside the hotel, making parking super convenient, especially if you're driving. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Luoping!"
