"Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we discovered the pipes were undergoing maintenance, and we hadn't been informed in advance. There were an excessive number of mosquitoes, something everyone should really watch out for. It felt like the room hadn't hosted guests in a while, as there was some dust. What was quite frustrating was the extremely weak water pressure; showering was practically impossible, so we just made do. The facilities seriously need an upgrade. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, and you can take the Wanfenglin sightseeing bus to various viewpoints. The hostess was very kind, and the breakfast was delicious, but the guesthouse's facilities really don't live up to the excellent service provided by the hostess."

"We stayed for two consecutive nights. The location of the guesthouse was excellent, right in front of the Bagua Field. Every day, we could see beautiful rapeseed flowers just by opening the curtains. The service from the housekeeper was even better; when we came back late at night, they even worked overtime to prepare a hearth tea ceremony for us. If we had more time, we would have liked to stay for two more days."

"The guesthouse is conveniently located in Nahui Village, at the foot of Wanfeng Forest, with a thousand-year-old banyan tree right outside. The owner was very friendly; because of traffic restrictions, our chartered car couldn't enter the scenic area, and he came out to pick us up after being stuck in traffic for over an hour. The Old Beijing hot pot was also delicious; it was a nice change of pace after so many days in Guizhou."

"This hotel's facilities are abysmal. It's old and run-down. I booked it for over 500 yuan after seeing a friend recommend it on Xiaohongshu. It happened I needed to book a four-night stay and they had it available, so I booked it. The result was that I regretted it the first night and couldn't book another one. I've been in Guizhou for ten days, and this is the worst hotel I've stayed in. It was so bad! The air conditioning didn't work on my first night, even at 10 degrees. The waiter finally found me a fan to make do for the night. Later, I stayed in this hotel. The facilities are abysmal. I booked it for over 500 yuan after seeing a friend recommend it on Xiaohongshu. It happened I needed to book a four-night stay and they had it available, so I booked it. The result was that I regretted it the first night and couldn't book another one. The staff finally found me a fan that worked for one night. The next day, I was given a different room. The shower wouldn't work. When the staff came, they brought out some kind of filthy water. The next day, we were moved to another room. After so many room changes, you'd think it would be better. None of the toilets would flush. The last time I went, I had to wait for half an hour for it to flush. The water pressure was low, and it only flushed a little at a time. Just imagine... Also, the breakfast was terrible. I traveled in Guizhou for ten days, and all the breakfasts were delicious, except for this one. In the end, my husband and I didn't eat, except for the kids who ate a little. My four-day stay was the worst nightmare of my trip. I'm not writing a review, I'm saving others from being fooled. The staff were fine, but the facilities were terrible. My whole family got sick after staying there."

"The service was really great! We arrived around 2 PM, and our booked room type wasn't ready yet, so they upgraded us to a clean room on the second floor. 👍 We dropped off our luggage and headed out. When we came back in the evening, we noticed a strange smell in the bathroom. My husband asked a staff member for some air freshener, and a little later, the staff member thoughtfully offered to switch us to the room next door! 👍 He even recommended some local food. Thumbs up! The guesthouse is very quiet; it was so pleasant lying in the courtyard soaking up the sun. We sunbathed until 4 PM, then went to Jinxiu Tianyuan in Wanfenglin to watch the sunset. It was beautiful!"

This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish.
The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture!
The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant!

Hygiene: I have stayed in many B&Bs, and Fengxi really can’t fault it. The items provided in the room are free and can be taken away, including minibar, milk and large bottles of mineral water.
Environment: There is a parking lot at the door. There are two delicious restaurants nearby. There is an electric car rental and a small supermarket next to it. It is also very close to Fried Rice Street. It costs five yuan to take a taxi. You can also walk directly to the sightseeing lane and take a sightseeing tour. When we were in the car, we told the driver that we could get off at Fengxi and walk back to the hotel. Especially convenient.
Scenery: I have to admire Fengxi’s location selection. Living on the third floor, looking out looks like a painting! There is also a public terrace on the third floor. Even if your room is below, you can take photos on the third floor public terrace. It is really photogenic!
Service: We have a lot of luggage. When we arrived at Fengxi, two lovely ladies helped us carry four large suitcases up. We asked for help, but the ladies said nothing and ran away with the suitcases, including the housekeeper. (I forgot to ask my name, and he was polite and polite with glasses). No matter what needs or questions we had, he would help answer them in detail. He recommended several photo spots in the scenic spots to me. They are all beautiful. Thank you very much. In short, the service is great. Really considerate!
Breakfast: Although there are not many varieties, it tastes good and is clean. The service staff of the B&B also ate with us.

GGuest UserCame to Wanfenglin with my family and chose this incredibly beautiful guesthouse. We picked a second-floor room with a balcony, and the views from the bed were stunning. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The warm lighting in the room was a thoughtful touch, not harsh on the eyes. The room was clean and odor-free, and outside the window, there were endless green mountains. Opening the window, I felt like I could breathe so much easier. In the afternoon, we went to their backyard area to enjoy the scenery and swim – every photo turned out amazing. During the day, we chatted in the room and admired the mountain views, and in the evening, we enjoyed the breeze on the balcony while talking with family. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helped us plan our travel routes perfectly. This will definitely be our first choice when we visit Wanfenglin again!

GGuest UserThis hotel is just amazing ! My room was very nice and cosy, the yard so enjoyable and beautiful with many plants and trees. The house is very well maintain and you can see that the personnel take great care of it. The localisation is perfect to visit Wanfenglin, the Canyon, Xingyi and all places of interest around. The owner, Tang Tang, her family and the girl working with her, Dawn, are amazing people who care so much about their guests. They speak English, especially Dawn who was an English teacher. They are so nice that they made me feel at home. They helped me with everything I needed and made my stay in Wanfenglin an unforgettable experience. I recommend this place so much, I can't imagine a better one !

From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected.

Came with my parents, aunt, and brothers. The room is large and cozy. There is a mountain view when you open the door. You can rent an electric car within a ten-minute walk.
