I had an amazing time staying at Warsa’s Garden! The location is just perfect, close to everything you need: supermarkets, local markets, the Art Market, and of course, the Monkey Forest. Having the monkeys visit almost every day was such a magical touch. Just a tip: keep your things close and don’t scare or threaten them, they’re not harmful, and if you respect their space, you’ll really enjoy their presence. The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely. Anytime I needed something, they were super helpful and kind. The place is clean and well kept yes, there are ants, lizards, and monkeys around, but hey, that’s Bali nature for you! It was never an issue for me. Breakfast was good, not a huge variety, but definitely enough to start the day. Just remember, this is a 3-star hotel, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from one, comfortable, chill, and perfect for resting after a long day exploring. More than enough for a great stay in Ubud!

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the jungle while still enjoying modern comforts, Askari Resort is an excellent choice. The resort seamlessly blends into the natural jungle terrain, creating a serene and immersive experience. Our private pool villa with a riverside view was absolutely stunning, waking up to the sights and sounds of the flowing river and lush greenery was unforgettable. The panoramic view from the reception level was breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the resort. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service from our personal assistant, Ms. Ayu Diah. She was incredibly attentive, hospitable, and always responsive, even beyond working hours, ensuring that all our needs were met. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, leaving us spoilt for choice. Additionally, for those looking to explore beyond the resort, there are beautiful rice fields nearby where you can experience the local agrarian culture. The resort is conveniently located within a short distance of rice terraces, waterfalls, temples, local restaurants, and charming villages, making it a perfect base for exploration. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly immersive and luxurious jungle retreat!

The location is fantastic, all easy to walk, but therefore it is also on a noisy road with daily traffic jams. However in the room it doesn't matter. The restaurant and swimming pool on the rooftop are the best. Great breakfast buffet and an unbeatable vista 360° including romantic sunsets. Be aware: they have special discounts for the coming months, because next door is a heavy construction going on.

We decided to stay at Kenran for 1 night after reading a mix of negative and positive reviews about this hotel. Our rooms are very spacious and nice with a lovely jungle view. Our a la carte breakfast was good. The staff are very nice and friendly. Surrounding views were amazing and truly authentic to Ubud nature. For our stay purpose and the price we paid, it's value for money. The hotel should have been rated a 5-star review for our stay if the following did not happen. First, in one of our parents' rooms, one body pillow was very smelly, which indicates it has not been washed or changed from previous guests. This unhygiene is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Second, on check-out date, we must walk up the 45 degree hill from our room to reception due to all 3 buggy cars running out of battery at 10am !?. Luckily, our old parents were able to use the last battery juice to get to the reception, while half of us weren't. This situation was truly embarrassing for such a hotel to let their guests, especially if they were children and the elderly to walk in an unsafe, wet, slippery, and high slope driveway. Staff was apologetic for the incident, but the situation could have been avoided if they had made sure all buggy cars were fully charged during the night before. We would like to stay at this place if the situations above were addressed properly.

The hotel location is good, quiet area, and if you want to calm your mind, this is one of the options. The staff was helpful and provide good service. Somehow, the restaurant need more staff, I feel bad when I only saw 2 people working to serve many guest, and many of the task are being delayed. The room is big, clean (but this hotel is in the middle of jungle, so don’t expect to have a free bugs room) this is normal. They have many swimming pool, but the infinity pool seems like dirty, cannot see the bottom part, so no courage to use it. Need more attention to the Infinity pool area including pool, chair, shower, etc. other pool was fine. Food was okay but not many options. Overall the hotel was good with that price.

Wow, I like the resort so much! Very far from hustle and bustle of Ubud, in jungles! The territory of the hotel is huge and includes tracking routes, small farm with animals, fruit garden, archery, pool and even mountain river! Breakfast was good enough, big choice of food. However not so much meat is available (even no meat, only sausages and ham…) The infinity pool is gorgeous, big and clean. The water temperature is also very comfortable

Amazing hotel. Excellent value for money. The room matched the description exactly. Outstanding service — the staff is always one step ahead of your needs. The hotel is old, and many buildings are currently undergoing renovation, but it doesn’t interfere with the guests' stay. The hotel is located near the monkey forest, so monkeys are frequent visitors. If you're afraid of monkeys, this place might not be for you.

Me and my husband stayed here for one week, and the overall experience was super positive and enjoyable. The room was clean, staff cleaned it every day, in the room there is a comfortable bed with white and comfortable bedding, and the bathroom included amenities like cotton tips, tooth brushes. There is a electric kettle with two mugs and tea/coffee for afternoon tea ritual. Breakfast was included in the price we paid, and it was definitely worth it. The food was restaurant quality breakfast. They also gave us multiple options to choose from, including juice and tea/coffee. There is a swimming pool but we didn’t use it. The garden was very nice and gave the area a relaxing feel, we saw cocks and dogs in the neighborhood which was super nice.  There are cafes, motorcycles rent shops and convenience store nearby. If you like places far from busy and crowded areas this hotel is the best option. Highly recommend!

During our stay, my child fell ill (digestive issue) and I was deeply grateful for the exceptional assistance provided by the receptionist and Service Express staff, particularly Safitri. She consistently followed up on my child's well-being, showing genuine care and attentiveness (from doctor recommendation, daily follow up, to complimentary plain porridge suited to my child's needs). I was truly impressed by their outstanding service and hospitality. Of course, the hotel's amenities were in line with the high standards expected of a five-star establishment.

I really like this place and would come back any time. The pool area and garden are so beautiful and peaceful, like a little paradise, the kitchen is big, common area comfortably, the beds as well, super mattresses, beds with curtains for privacy, own plug and light, locker provided, key card for the door, so it's super safe, staff very nice. Recommended 👍🏼
