Room service was prompt and thorough, and the room was spotlessly clean. Overall, the service was professional yet warm, making for a very comfortable experience. Highly recommended!

This is an older hotel, but a classic. We didn't want to travel far for Chinese New Year, so we decided to explore the city, and I'd always wanted to check out the Fragrant Hills Hotel. It was truly excellent! I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in spring, summer, and autumn. While the room facilities show their age, they are incredibly well-maintained, giving it a wonderfully retro feel. A big thank you to the front desk for arranging a south-facing room for my elderly parents; the view was fantastic, and they really enjoyed soaking up the sun. All the hotel staff were warm, welcoming, and responsible. The restaurant on the first floor served delicious food, and the coffee and desserts at the first-floor cafe were also very good. The hotel's location is, of course, a major plus – extremely convenient. Stepping out of the hotel, you have three directions (west, north, south) perfect for a stroll. When you get tired, you can just head back to your room to rest. It's truly ideal for a vacation. The only minor drawback was the parking fee, which cost me over 60 [currency].

Whether for a business trip or sightseeing, reaching your destination is quick and easy. The surrounding area is also well-developed, with convenience stores and various restaurants downstairs, making finding food and shopping very handy. The service experience was the biggest highlight. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was efficient and quick. They even proactively offered tea. Some guests shared stories of the front desk helping with complimentary room upgrades and actively assisting with luggage, small details that made a big difference. Room service was equally meticulous; the cleaning staff were diligent and responsible, keeping the room spotless every day. As for room facilities, Hanting maintained the consistent hygiene standards of a chain brand. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the zero-pressure mattress ensured a good night's sleep. Hot water flow was stable and abundant, with excellent water pressure. Many newer branches are also equipped with smart room control systems – just a voice command controls the lights and air conditioning, plus there are delivery robots, adding a great touch of technology. Other facilities are also comprehensive. The self-service laundry room is available 24 hours, which is very practical for travelers on longer trips. The hotel also offers thoughtful services like free WiFi and unlimited bottled water. Of course, as an economy chain hotel, the experience may vary between different Hanting branches, with some older ones having slightly dated facilities and smaller rooms. However, overall, Hanting offers excellent value for money in its price range, thanks to its consistent quality, clean environment, and enthusiastic service. Hanting will remain my top choice for my next trip.

New hotels are good, clean and sanitary. I like the dry and wet separation in the bathroom. It is very quiet with many residential areas around. The room is also very warm and has smart control. The restaurant is large, the breakfast is delicious, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

Taxis are very convenient and cost about 13 yuan one way. There is a lakeside park near the hotel, a great place for a walk! The restaurant on the third floor of the hotel has a variety of set meals to choose from. The set meal for two is 199 yuan, very satisfying. There are not many breakfast varieties but the quality is good and enough for guests to choose according to their needs. There are also other restaurants near the hotel, which is very convenient for dining. The room facilities and equipment are relatively new, neat and clean. Calling ”Xiao Ai” can turn off the lights, open the curtains, etc. 😉. Central air conditioning is quieter and easier to debug. The room service staff were polite and considerate, and took the initiative to ask if they needed a latex pillow. Beijing is relatively dry in winter, so there is a humidifier in the room. The hotel also thoughtfully provides guests with many disposable items, such as children's slippers, warm patches, masks, ginger tea, earplugs, dental floss, etc., a total of more than 20 kinds. There is a supermarket nearby, and takeaways are delivered to the door of the room by a robot, which is very timely. The hotel has a shared laundry room with laundry detergent, softener, disinfectant, collar cleaner and disinfectant alcohol, which is very convenient. The service staff will also help hang up the laundry. I didn’t take any photos specifically, just casual photos of the dinner. Personally, I think it is one of the hotels I have stayed in that has good service and value for money. If you don’t mind being far from the city, this is a good choice.
