"What we liked:
Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge.
The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp.
For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube).
Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with:
Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not.
The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight.
The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels."

"Hotel was fine, room was small but modern enough. My room wasn’t cleaned or serviced one day, which was disappointing. When I alerted reception they didn’t seem to consider it too big a deal. Some kind of acknowledgment would have been nice. Not great location if you wanted to head into the city, was a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. If I were back in Antwerp I’d likely look at alternatives but as a last resort it’s not that bad a hotel to stay in for business travel."

"The hotel is reasonably comfortable, the service friendly and helpful and the beds are quite good, really. However, there are just too many services that I would expect from a hotel in this price category which were missing, or come with an extra charge. Most importantly, the access to the spa is an extra fee, a bottle of water costs extra... That the bathroom wasn't very well cleaned (hair from previous occupants all over the place!) was probably a fluke, but still should not happen in a hotel in this price range. On the other hand, the proximity to the train station, a short walk to the old city and a lot of good restaurants nearby speak for the hotel (this also allows to give the rather overpriced breakfast a pass) speak for the place. All in all: a very mixed experience. I would probably still look for a different place net time I go to Antwerp."

"Overall, the stay was still smooth and the room had a comfortable feel, but there were a couple of things that stood out. The space itself was pleasant and easy to settle into, and most of the basics were in place. However, there was no power outlet by the bedside, which made charging devices a bit inconvenient. The bigger issue was the bed—not cleaned as it should have been, with the previous guest’s bedsheet still left on, which took away from the otherwise good experience. Everything else in the room worked fine, and the service was steady and polite, but those two points definitely left a mark on the stay."

"The stay went very well, the hotel is quite close to the Center, the rooms are comfortable, with everything necessary kettle, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, good soundproofing except when you have very very noisy neighbors unfortunately the hotel is not responsible for the incivility of the customers. Too bad that the reception staff does not speak French so no information is possible. The breakfast is very limited but correct."

"A beautifully presented hotel but the area felt a little dirty. Straight across from the train station with transport galore right outside (tram, metro, bikes, scotters and more!) Chinatown next door and the zoo as well however this area feels unloved and dirty. Walking down towards Meir and onwards to Grote Markt you see the real Antwerp with beautiful ornate buildings, markets and shops. Nighttime is when the whole place feels magical. The hotel room was clean and comfortable in size. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were fairly comfortable but the room was hot. The tv casting didn’t work and we could get any of the uk channels which was disappointing. The gym is ok - not massively well equipped and the pool is so cold. Sauna and steam good although not that hot in either. Recommend as a one night pit stop but wouldn’t want to be there for longer than a couple of days."

"Spotlessly clean and just a couple of steps from the station. Parking was a bit pricey, and the hotel's vague instructions led me to pay 51 Euros, which was triple the actual parking fee. Otherwise, everything was excellent. The breakfast spread was incredibly generous, and the room was very spacious by European standards. Both twin beds were also very large."

"We were traveling by car as a couple. The hotel has free parking. The rooms and beds are larger than those of similar hotels in Europe. The facilities are newer, with coffee machines, kettles and ironing boards, which are all what travelers need. It is a 15-minute drive to the old town attractions, and we visited for four hours. Parking cost 17 euros."

"This is a very old hotel with well-maintained facilities. The most important thing is that there is a Christmas market and an ice skating rink downstairs, which the children love very much. The taste and service of the restaurant in the market are very good. The Christmas atmosphere is very good. The hotel is next to the Carrefour supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing snacks and fruits. It is just that you need to take a detour to get a taxi to Antwerp Central Station. If you don't need to take a taxi with your children, there are actually buses and subways downstairs, which is very convenient. You must stay here again when you come to Antwerp"

GGuest UserOverall our expectations were exceeded, we have been traveling for almost 90 days and this has been the best hotel we have stayed. The room was clean and well appointed. The location is a short walk from the central train station through a safe neighborhood. The staff was friendly and quick to make any request happen. The staff appears to care for the hotel and customers as if they had a true interest in the outcome of everyone who passed through their doors. Thanks again for the excellent stay.

GGuest UserThe ventilation of the room is very POOL, made sleep difficult after travelling,there is a Construction site in front of the Hotel, they start Working early in the Morning 07:30, I killed 3 mosquitoes in the 2nd night because we need open the windows for fresh air, but if you open the Windows mosquitoes flies in . the hygiene of the toilet need to improve.

CChristianThe hotel is in an excellent location if you are working at the conference centre a Room with a Zoo, you have to walk one minute across the square.
I ate twice in the restaurant, both times the food was mediocre (too much tomato sauce on pizza, very strange and poorly made carbonara with pasta that was dry due to being put under the grill). The breakfast was also extremely basic for 20 euros a day, one day the baked beans were empty the whole time I was there, several days most of the cherry tomatoes were wrinkled. The juices were nice and the bread was fresh.
Overall, the staff seemed slightly poorly coordinated in ensuring someone was available at the bar and reception. The bar was frequently unmanned, and the reception was as well, it seemed like sometimes bar staff were spending time with friends.
In addition, the bathroom in my room smelt, from the day of arrival.
Overall the location is good and it seemed relatively clean, but the rooms are small, I would not eat here, but the bar is suitable for a drink.

CCindyTsangThe reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool.
However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning.
And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools.
We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day.
The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool.
It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them.
The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival.
Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later.
The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes later
There were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring.
I was not happy with my stay.

We had no high expectations for a two-star hotel. The room was clean and the location is good. But why is there a simple glass laundry table lacking? That detail is almost nothing, but says a lot.
Then that 'lottery' : almost everyone 'wins' a glass of water, which you must drink standing at the reception. While there is just a water tip. That feels not like a careful extra, but rather like a flawy marketing trick.
It's a pity, because just those small savings make you feel no real guest, a little more attention, and it would be much better.

I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same.
Central located, check-in procedure was easy.
Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :)
Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon.
Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud.
Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.

GGuest UserThe location was perfect for us. There were the train station, metro lines and buses just next to the hotel.
The room was spacious.
Beside that, our room was not really clean... We found paper on the floor when we entered the bedroom upstairs, the cups and mugs were dirty (there was dried toothpaste at the bottom of them) and the cap of the bottle of water, which was complementary, was apparently rust since the top of the glass bottle was all red/black.
It's convenient for 1 night or 2 but I wouldn't stay longer.
