Beihai Hotels with Bars

"Asaka is a newly popular hotel and community in Beihai, bearing a striking resemblance to Aranya in Qinhuangdao. The hotel's prices are very budget-friendly, offering great value for money in Beihai. We visited during the National Day holiday, when prices at popular hotels typically soar 2-3 times. While Asaka Hotel also had a significant premium, it remained quite competitive compared to the beachfront hotels at Silver Beach. We initially stayed two nights at Silver Beach, then explored the Asaka community, found it impressive, and decided to move to the Ferris Wheel Seaview Resort. **⛲️Environment:** Asaka Hotel currently primarily consists of the Ferris Wheel, Summit, and other sub-brand resorts. These are essentially hotel-style apartments designed and decorated within the community's high-rise residential buildings. They feature IKEA furniture and appliances, with a Nordic design aesthetic. The main differences lie in location, orientation, and floor level. This time, we stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Room in the annex building of the Ferris Wheel Resort. It offered expansive views of the southeast-facing beach and the adorable Ferris Wheel 🎡 nearby. The room was a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom setup, similar to a small suite. There was also a private small courtyard at the room entrance with a washing machine and exhaust fan, perfect for storing odds and ends or drying clothes. A sizable balcony allowed for enjoying the view, relaxing, and catching the sunrise if you woke up early. Both the hotel and the room were relatively new and very clean. The living room had a small refrigerator and a stove (though not used). Breakfast was served as a set meal in the staff canteen; it was simple but decent. Alternatively, you could dine at one of the restaurants within the park. The service was quite good, with quick responses to inquiries. Overall, it felt like a well-serviced hotel-style apartment, suitable for an extended staycation. **🎡Facilities:** Asaka Park boasts a large outdoor water park, a children's pool, an indoor children's playground, and a children's library, making it ideal for families with kids—this is its biggest selling point compared to other hotels! Unfortunately, we encountered Typhoon 🌀 Muifa, which led to the closure of both indoor and outdoor children's facilities for several days. There are also adult pools, a cinema, a bookstore, an art gallery, several specialty restaurants and bars, and charming plazas with art sculptures and installations perfect for relaxing and taking photos. Around the park, you'll find numerous art installations and landscaped gardens with a similar theme. To the south are the landmark Ferris Wheel and a larger water park, though they were not open during my visit. Overall, Asaka is a community with a strong sense of design and plenty of recreational opportunities, well worth exploring, photographing, or even staying for a short visit. **🌀Typhoon Days:** We happened to be there during a direct hit from a typhoon, which significantly impacted our experience. The water park and children's playground were closed, and park restaurants were overcrowded. Waking up in the middle of the night, I could hear the howling wind outside and the slight swaying of the ceiling lamp inside 🫨 After the typhoon passed, the outdoor areas were a mess… However, I was impressed to see many service staff standing firm at their posts, ensuring the normal operation of the hotel community. **🪏Finally, let's talk about the downsides:** The hotel rooms are all located in high-rise buildings, but each building only has 2-4 elevators. When you factor in delivery personnel, you can imagine how busy it gets during peak hours. Our luck was pretty good, but we still had to wait a long time for elevators a few times. I suggest strictly enforcing the rule that delivery personnel are not allowed into the hotel. Surprisingly, the in-room phone in the annex building couldn't dial the front desk. We had to use our mobile phones to call the hotel's main line, and some front desk staff weren't even aware of this issue. I recommend fixing the direct-dial phone problem or at least informing guests upon check-in and providing alternative contact methods."

"A family of four booked a parent-child room for five days and four nights. The boss took the initiative to upgrade me to a room with a terrace. He kept the room clean and tidy. The children also had a lot of fun in the swimming pool in the backyard. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. Liyin It's only a ten-minute walk from the beach. It's not far from Qiaogang Beach and mangroves to catch the sea. The breakfast is pretty good too."

"I highly recommend this homestay! The service is impeccable. Before checking in, the homestay thoughtfully created a group, and the 6 service staff were warm and thoughtful, and also sent a detailed guide to Beihai. The private hot spring swimming pool we booked was changed for each guest and cleaned spotlessly. The hotel has an elegant environment and is located in the Silver Beach Villa District. The breakfast is delicious. On the first night, we bought seafood and the chef helped to process it. The taste was amazing. The salt and pepper mantis shrimp and spicy fried crab were a must. The fish caught in the afternoon was also very delicious after the chef cooked it. Any service needs can be responded to in a timely manner, and the service attitude is cordial and friendly. In the end, we didn't have time to book a car, and the hotel also helped us load our luggage and take pictures. It was really reliable! When I come to Beihai in the future, I will definitely recommend this homestay to every friend!"

They have me to contact the bus company to claim refund for me as the bus trip from Beihai to Haikou is canceled because of Taiphon Yogi. The shower has excellent water pressure, and the temperature control is precise – no sudden hot or cold bursts. At night, the surroundings are quiet, with only the sound of wind rustling through the leaves. This place, offering both convenient dining and a peaceful night's sleep, is perfect for a family trip."

"The hotel is two minutes walk from the entrance of Beihai Yintan Scenic Area. There is no foreign car. They are all people who walk and ride. The scenery is very beautiful and convenient. This time I stayed in the 103 two-bedroom pool room. The temperature of the heated pool water can be adjusted. The room is very new. The design aesthetics are online. It is very convenient to have a drying washing and drying machine. You must give the hotel staff a compliment. You will greet them with smiles everywhere. You will take the initiative to say hello. You will also provide super warm service. There is a butler service. You have to trouble the staff to ask this and that. The staff are very enthusiastic. Do something immediately, like it! Breakfast is a set meal, seafood porridge and rice noodles are alternately produced, and you can definitely eat it for more than two days. They are all delicious. They are also equipped with fruit, yogurt, various steamed dumplings, eggs, soy milk coffee. The children have their own breakfast. The restaurant sisters and aunts take care of us very well. I have been feeding, for fear that we can't eat well, it is really warm. Check out the hotel butler helped us call the car to the high-speed rail station, and also sent sea duck eggs. The hotel takes a taxi or rides an electric car to go out very close to the pier and night market on Weizhou Island. It is also nearby for eating. It is very convenient. The beach white sand is very fine. The hotel provides sand digging tools and swimming pools. There is no need to bring your own. "Three people booked a large studio. The house is super big and very clean. We arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock in the morning, and the little girl at the front desk was still waiting for us to check in. The best thing is that we went to Weizhou Island to pick up and drop off, and she was on time. The service was super good. When we came back from the island, the little girl at the front desk helped collect takeaways and arranged for us to eat in the lounge area. It was a very pleasant trip.
