"The most delightful surprise during my hotel stay was meeting Xiao Huang at the front desk! Her service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive! Check-in was quick, and she proactively reminded me of the location and opening hours of the hotel's laundry room. Knowing I was a tourist, she patiently recommended several popular local attractions, helping me avoid the usual tourist traps, and even planned a time-saving route for me. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking.
The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room."

"I had a great stay with Yezi apartment hotel. I had a great view of the sea and city. The apartment is close to old town where we often went for dessert and food. There are plethora of restaurants around. Honestly, you will not go hungry in this city. Great fresh seafood choices.
We were often in Silver and Gangqiao beach which is quite far with 20-30 minutes cab ride.
Otherwise, this hotel is convenient and clean."

The latest model of the season, the lobby has a very comfortable scent of aromatherapy, background music, the bedding is very good, and each of the 4 pillows is very comfortable. The mattress is also very comfortable. If you want to have a good sleep, it is recommended to find a place where you can have a good sleep when you go out. The sound insulation is very good.
Having washing powder is convenient for taking care of children or the elderly or people who don’t like to do laundry!

"During this trip, I felt that Ctrip's service was becoming more and more considerate. Not only could the points be used to pay for the room, but the service also automatically matched and recommended the best option based on our needs and allowed one-click payment. It also provided me with room upgrades, delayed check-out and other services, which made me feel the value of being a VIP. The handsome guy at the hotel front desk upgraded our family of four to a suite and connected it to a twin room, which was so convenient. There were three bathrooms, three TVs, a two-meter bed and two single beds for four people, so everyone could get what they needed. The family could gather in the living room for activities and rest without disturbing each other. They also gave us two portions of fruit. The breakfast was average. I'll tell you what I feel. I recommend this rare room type as the first choice for a family trip. There is a RT-Mart not far away. There is a highly rated seafood restaurant just across the road. There are parking lots on the ground and underground, which is very convenient. It proves that choosing Ctrip is still a good choice."

"The room was very clean, and the owner was very welcoming, showering my daughter with compliments and smiles the whole time—I was almost embarrassed! It's located in the old town, with plenty of food options and a lively atmosphere. Downstairs, there's a small shop selling pig's feet noodles and beef brisket noodles, run by an elderly couple. The pig's feet noodles are 15 yuan, with a huge piece of meat, and they taste great. Across from the guesthouse is a pedestrian street with tons of snacks. Next to the guesthouse is a seafood street; the owner recommended Xiao Liang Seafood, which was quite good."

GGuest UserI was very happy during my stay. The service provided by the girl in a sweatshirt at the front desk was super perfect. She helped us book a car to watch whales, and was very careful to help us with invoices and luggage. The guy at the front desk also taught us how to use the air conditioner and stereo. The facilities in the room were also very complete, but the toilet seat was leaking. There were no other problems. The service of the auntie who delivered the food was average. After cleaning the room, she did not replenish the toothpaste, toothbrush and other toiletries. She also kept knocking on the door when delivering the food. We responded and asked to wait a moment (she responded three times), but the auntie still kept knocking on the door, so this aspect was still a bit lacking. The breakfast food was very good! My boyfriend and I both like it very much and will recommend it to our friends in the future [grin]

YYigexihuanzhenshidianpingdeyonghuI didn't take any photos this time. First, let me talk about the facilities: I forgot to check for a bathtub, assuming there would be one. It's my own fault for not checking. The sink and shower were fine, no major problems.
Cleanliness: The walls upstairs in my room were black, but the grout lines were peeling off, making it difficult to place anything on them and leaving black residue. This wasn't a good experience.
Environment: The environment was okay, but it's located in an area full of guesthouses. I recommend renting an electric bike; riding one in the evening is incredibly relaxing.
Service: The service was impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating.
The downside: One bad thing was the swimming pool! We've taken our child to Sanya dozens of times and never had an ear infection from swimming, but here, one time we had to go home to see a doctor. The doctor said it was from swimming; something got in. Looking back, I don't know why the pool water in Beihai is salty—was it just seawater? Sanya's pools use disinfectant additives, which I suspect this one didn't.

There is a convenience store next to it, and there is a vegetable store that is very convenient for shopping. The boss is enthusiastic and will arrange a pick-up and drop-off from the pier. The seafood is also delicious. The hammock in the yard is very comfortable, the sea breeze is blowing, refreshing, and will recommend friends to live.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

The overall facilities of the room are very good, the whole room looks quite new and not old, and the overall style is very warm. It is quite surprising at this price. The only downside is that some mosquitoes, but perhaps the climate reasons can be understood and the boss is also very intimately equipped with a mosquito repellent. There is also a little yellow stain on a bath towel, I hope the boss will pay more attention to hygiene in the future.

GGuest UserThe boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.
