"**š”Ambiance:** Rooms in popular tourist destinations typically experience high occupancy, leading to more wear and tear. While not brand new, the hotel's predominantly white design is surprisingly well-maintained, which is quite commendable. The bedding was fresh and clean, free from any strange odors, and didn't cause any skin irritation.
**šÆāļøService:** The staff demonstrated excellent service awareness. It's clear the manager is deeply committed to running the hotel and fostering positive guest relationships, always striving to resolve any issues. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly diligent; I often observed them meticulously cleaning and tidying up when passing by.
**šLocation:** The hotel is situated right inside the scenic area, making it very family-friendly, especially with children. In the mornings, the kids were taken out for a stroll while we enjoyed some extra sleep at the hotel. Shared electric scooters and tricycles are readily available right outside the entrance, offering very convenient transportation.
**šParking:** There are only two 'first-come, first-served' parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. However, the hotel does provide a dedicated parking lot about a ten-minute walk away. When we needed to retrieve our car, the lovely manager kindly lent us an electric bike to ride to the parking lot. I'd suggest the hotel consider offering a shuttle service to and from the remote parking lot. This would be incredibly convenient, as guests typically rely on tricycles or shared e-scooters for getting around the area, meaning there's often no need to drive once parked. With light rail construction ongoing nearby, driving can also be very congested. We didn't use our car at all after parking it for the duration of our stay. A parking shuttle service from the hotel would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience.

"My stay at the Manxin hotel was outstanding. The welcoming lobby, friendly staff, and impeccable cleanliness made a great first impression. I loved the thoughtful touches - complimentary tea, biscuits, candies and sunblock in the lobby.
The cosy room featured a comfortable bed, auto-flushed toilet, and spacious shower, with extras like vitamin C drinks and pineapple beer.
The tuxedo-clad concierge robot added a charming, futuristic touch. Truly one of the best hotels I've stayed in.
Manxin is hidden behind the busy road, made it a tranquil hidden gem within the busy city."

Environment: The hotel lobby is large, with a small bar. I heard there's a swimming pool, but I didn't have time to check it out.
Location: Very close to Chaozhou Old Town, a 13-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride for 10 yuan, very convenient.
The hotel staff were very nice and the service was excellent. Since there were three of us in our family, they upgraded us to a family room and even gave us breakfast. It was a generous breakfast with everything you could need. Unfortunately, I forgot to take more photos. The family room was large and comfortable. The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, and I slept very well. The selection of amenities was also good, including the toothpaste, hairdryer, complimentary drinks, and other brand-name items. It was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family when I visit Chaozhou again."

"Still craving Shantou cuisine since last summer, this was my second stay at the Golden Gulf Hotel. Its location is superb, being close to the city center and just a 10-minute walk from Longyan South Road Snack Street, which is bustling with eateries. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. Check-in was efficient and smooth.
The rooms are spacious, elegantly and comfortably decorated. The bed was soft, the room was neat and clean, and came with all the necessary amenities. The hotel's fitness facilities are well-equipped, and there's also a heated swimming pool ā perfect for working off all the delicious food after a culinary tour!
I was delighted to meet 'Tuhao Ge' again; he was incredibly enthusiastic, recommending excellent dining spots and travel itineraries for the Chaoshan region. I'm truly thankful for the encounter! This time, I also had the opportunity to try the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. Every dish was freshly prepared by hand, making them healthy, fresh, and delicious.
Overall, the Shantou Golden Gulf Hotel excels in its facilities, service quality, and location, making it an ideal choice for business or leisure travelers to Shantou. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"Highly recommend! After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel and struggling to find a suitable place on any travel app, my friend and I decided to book this hotel on the spot. We thought a five-star hotel couldn't be too bad, but the relatively cheap price made us a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it turned out to be a huge pleasant discovery!
Firstly, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable ā the carpets were spotless, and every detail was well-maintained. Secondly, the service was excellent; they even offered us a complimentary local snack (Guozhi) and provided a shuttle service to/from Shantou Station. I must say, hotels with Hong Kong investment truly deliver professional service.
For less than 400 RMB, you wouldn't expect much, but the Emperor Hotel made us feel like we deserved the best! The hotel is relatively old, so there aren't many power sockets, which meant we couldn't easily charge our phones by the bed while using them. But that's a minor detail and really a matter of personal preference. Overall, we're extremely satisfied and would definitely return!"

"This is one of the few hotels I'd actively bother to review! It's right next to a Marriott that's currently undergoing renovations, but honestly, next time I probably still won't choose Marriott; I'll definitely stick with this one! Superb value for money!
Here are five things I loved:
1. **Location:** Fantastic location with incredibly convenient access to dining and shopping.
2. **Decor:** The interior design is superb! The owner clearly invested a lot, as it feels more like a high-quality home renovation. The layout is well-thought-out, simple yet very stylish.
3. **Cleanliness:** Outstanding! It's hands down the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in within this price range. The fresh air system is fantastic, and there were absolutely no unpleasant odors.
4. **Service:** Top-notch! I called ahead to ask about check-in and parking, and the staff proactively asked for my estimated arrival time. To my surprise, they even pre-checked me in! When I arrived, after a super-quick ID verification, I had my room key in hand within three seconds. What an incredible experience! It's rare for a hotel to be so accommodating for an individual guest.
5. **Management:** The owner's management is truly exceptional, and they are incredibly proactive and helpful! For instance, when I asked for recommendations for local food and attractions, they immediately provided a detailed list, including restaurant names, locations, and contact information. I tried two of their suggestions ā a beef restaurant and a place for Teochew-style cured seafood ā and noticed both were packed with locals! Unlike many hotels, especially those in touristy areas like Chongqing, that often recommend places offering kickbacks, this hotel genuinely pointed me to authentic local favorites. That truly won my heart, and I can confirm, there were no tourist traps!"

While the staff may not be numerous, every single person is wonderful. Unlike the impersonal service often found in chain hotels, this place truly feels like home. Vast and Linda, in particular, are incredibly engaging and helpful ā such genuinely lovely people! Even the room service attendant and the cleaning staff always greeted us with warm, friendly smiles.
The cleanliness is also impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dirt anywhere. You could even run barefoot on the outdoor stone paths.
Breakfast is another highlight. Having stayed in several hotels in Chaoshan over the past few days, this was the only one that truly offered authentic Teochew-inspired breakfast options, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious.
An 'auntie' staff member saw us with our children and kindly offered them some German-made candies with good ingredients. Both the mini-bar selections and the bathroom amenities were also of excellent quality.
The hotel also has a resident cat, Xiongda, who is incredibly adorable with his short legs. When the front desk staff noticed I wanted to pet him, they even offered me a cat treat stick. The next day, I wanted to give Xiongda another treat, but the front desk attendant kindly informed me that he had already had two for the day and couldn't have more. It's clear they genuinely care for the cat and prioritize his well-being.
I'll definitely be visiting other hotels in the 'You Xiong' series in the future. What particularly impressed me was noticing, while walking around, that the hotel is equipped with an AED. This suggests the owner is truly thoughtful and responsible ā very impressive!
However, one minor point for improvement is that the room felt a little too much like a display suite, making it perhaps a bit too business-oriented for a relaxing holiday.

Our group of people came from all over the country - some by high-speed rail, some by plane through the clouds, and some by car without fear of driving far away. Due to the different arrival times, the intimate butler contacted us after booking to tailor the reception plan for everyone.
At noon, they made a special trip to the airport to pick up friends from Xi'an, and sent them directly to the restaurant, and met with friends who had already arrived smoothly. The warmth began to spread from the first moment. I arrived slowly in the afternoon. According to the positioning sent by the housekeeper in advance, the car parked smoothly into the exclusive parking space of the hotel. It is worth mentioning that no matter what time we arrive and how much luggage we have, the housekeeper always silently picks up the suitcase and sends it to the room one by one. This meticulousness is moving.
In the afternoon, we gathered in the tea room of the hotel to enjoy tea and chat, and time seemed to slow down. The boss heard that we all love tea, and generously asked the housekeeper to send two packs of private tea. In that mouthful of tea, not only has the charm of good tea, but also the richness of human touch.
The small courtyard is located in the deep alley in the center of the ancient city, avoiding the hustle and bustle and enjoying a tranquility. The space design is full of beauty, both traditional and modern comfort. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the facilities are perfect and intimate, and every detail can be seen with care. The next morning, we booked the casserole pork soup powder for breakfast, a hot bowl, the soup is delicious, warm stomach and warm heart.
When we parted, the housekeeper's little brother was still enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us transport the luggage to the parking lot one by one. A journey became particularly soft and unforgettable due to this courtyard and this group of people. āWithout it courtyardā is not only a residence, but also an old friend who knows you, waiting in the ancient city, gentle to undertake every paragraph of the friendship that comes.

GGuest UserThat afternoon, we made a last-minute decision to cancel our original hotel booking, thinking it would be more convenient to stay on Paifang Street given the rainy weather. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Firstly, its prime location right on Paifang Street makes it incredibly convenient to walk to several major attractions. Secondly, the design is full of thoughtful details, and the hotel feels very new as it hasn't been open long. Every staff member, from the butler to the front desk and restaurant staff, was incredibly friendly! Initially, after reading some reviews, I was a bit concerned about potential street noise. However, we were assigned a room on the 6th floor, and based on my family's experience, aside from a brief minute or two of noticeable noise from the street below around 9 AM, we didn't hear any other street noise at all during our stay. P.S. A minor suggestion for improvement: perhaps because we are a family of four, the waste bins in both the bathroom and the room were a bit on the small side for our needs.

XXiaojiaCAPTAINI booked the Yongji Bridge view room this time, and the view truly lived up to expectations. It offered an expansive, unobstructed panorama, making it truly delightful to take in the scenery. The room was a comfortable size, providing ample space for daily activities without feeling cramped.
The front desk staff were excellent, and the entire service team was quite friendly. Communication and handling of requests were smooth. Additionally, the hotel's facilities appeared quite new and didn't feel outdated when in use, contributing to a pleasant experience.
However, there was one minor drawback: I found some hair in the room upon check-in. While other aspects of cleanliness were satisfactory afterwards, the hotel still needs to pay more attention to detail during the cleaning process.

It is very convenient to park the car at the door or in two large parking lots dozens of meters away to pick up luggage. The B&B is small, beautiful, and pet-friendly. Of course, you have to be a quality guest yourself. The customer service will contact WeChat in advance to explain the details and provide travel strategies, which is also very thoughtful. The two tea rooms on the first floor are very nice. A group of friends can stay here to have more places to gather and chat. GGuest UserI didn't expect much when I came to Chaozhou, but because of this youth nursing home, I fell in love with this city. The boss is very enthusiastic, personally driving with food, drink and fun, there are various activities in the evening, met many friends in different places, and shared a lot of interesting stories. Although Chaozhou traffic is not very convenient, it may be the charm of this small town, let life slow down, and feel the humanities and food here. The most moving thing is that the people here are world-class, the enthusiasm of the surrounding neighbors, and the warmth is felt everywhere. I have lived for many days in a row. I really don't want to leave.
