She actively helped with all my requests and even gave the children fridge magnets and small toys, which they absolutely loved. All the staff were very diligent and responsible. "My last night in Chaozhou, sitting in the courtyard sipping Dancong tea, I found myself reluctant to go to sleep. I really wanted to write a good review for Youxiong – this place truly deserves it. What impressed me most was the service; it embodies 'consideration' in every detail. The cobbled streets of the ancient city are tricky to navigate, but a quick call brings a shuttle silently to your doorstep, and the driver carefully handles your luggage. The front desk is so responsive it's like they can read your mind. Asking for directions, borrowing something, or needing anything last minute, they always respond with a smile, like an old friend. That feeling of being cared for isn't just routine politeness; it's a gentle 'I understand what you need right now.' The amenities are also meticulously chosen. As the Bvlgari toiletries dissolved in the hot water, the day's fatigue washed away with the bubbles. The Dyson hairdryer, with its powerful airflow, dried my long hair in just a few minutes. The biggest surprise was being upgraded to a courtyard room – I almost gasped when I opened the door. The room was so spacious I could roll around on the wooden floor, and outside the window was the interplay of light and shadow in the old house's courtyard. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, I almost felt like the owner of the ancient city. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with Chaozhou-style kway teow and freshly ground coffee side-by-side, yet it didn't feel out of place at all. Eating warm shrimp dumplings and watching the sunlight slowly climb over the mottled old walls, I suddenly realized that 'luxury' isn't about expensive accumulation, but about making every moment as comfortable as being at home, yet with an added sense of ceremony and being truly valued. Looking back as I left, the grey tiles and white walls stood quietly in the morning mist. Thank you, Youxiong, for making my stay in Chaozhou feel like living inside an old poem. "Choosing Maixinge in Chaozhou was a truly hassle-free experience. It's just a 15-minute walk to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge, so you can head straight back to the hotel to escape the crowds after exploring. They even provide a complimentary fresh fruit plate upon check-in. If you're driving, there's free parking with charging stations, so no need to worry about finding a spot. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the smart room controls are convenient to use. The pork offal kway teow soup at breakfast was incredibly fresh and satisfying. The front desk staff even recommended some authentic local eateries nearby. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience."

"I booked the Imperial Hotel last minute, and as soon as I arrived, I was told my room had been upgraded for free! It was huge and spacious, with brand new facilities and luxurious decor. They even have a free swimming pool for guests – truly befitting an established five-star hotel. The location is also great, close to Zhujiang Road Food Street, which I actually think has better food than Longquan South Road Food Street. The hotel service was absolutely impeccable, especially our butler. She was incredibly thoughtful and patient, contacting us even before we arrived. Once we were there, she surprised us with local Shantou specialties and toys for the kids. Before we left, she proactively arranged our ride to the high-speed train station. The hotel driver was super fast, getting us from the hotel to the station in just five minutes. Our whole trip was made so much better by staying at the Imperial Hotel; I'll definitely be back here next time I visit Shantou!"

"Traveling with a friend, we stayed here. The front desk lady was so thoughtful, picking us up in an electric car right at the entrance of the ancient city. Upon arriving at Qiao Jia, we were offered refreshing drinks to quench our thirst and cool down. We checked in after 2 PM. The room was spotlessly clean, and we received complimentary fruit, biscuits, and snacks. They also provided us with a guide to explore the ancient city. After a tiring day of exploring and eating in the ancient city, we returned to our room for a rest. We were even given free tickets to an Yingge Dance performance and complimentary tea and snacks. The room was very photogenic, and the hotel's rooftop was a great spot for taking pictures. Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel's location is excellent, with Guangji Tower, Guangji Bridge, Zhenhai Tower, and West Lake all within walking distance."

"My friend and I had a better-than-expected stay this time. The hotel's location is very convenient for getting around. Upon entering the room, there was no strange odor, and the hygiene was excellent. The bedding was soft, making it very relaxing to lie down and rest. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the toiletries were provided. The front desk staff were kind and very thoughtful, arranging for us to be on the same floor. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they patiently answered all our questions. Overall, it was quiet and not noisy, so we rested very well. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!"

"Service: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. 👍 Environment: A stylish and trendy hotel, perfect for Instagram photos. 🏨 Hygiene: Spotlessly clean. Facilities: The smart home features were a bit finicky. At night, the toilet would often auto-flush and open its lid even when no one was around. The lights also had a sound sensor, turning on with any noise when I was trying to sleep. Furthermore, the shampoo and shower gel bottles were constantly knocked off by the shower hose and were difficult to dispense. These are areas that definitely need improvement. Facilities (positive aspects): On the positive side, the bathtub was excellent, complete with disposable bath liners and bath salts. Disposable toilet seat covers and other small amenities showed great attention to detail. Environment (positive aspects): It was also lovely to enjoy a drink and moonlight on the rooftop in the evening. Both the room and balcony were very spacious, as was the bathroom. The toilet was pristine, with no odd stains, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards. Environment (location): The hotel's location within a pedestrian street was perfect for shopping and sightseeing. However, parking outside the hotel proved to be a major inconvenience. Service (overall impression): I specifically chose this hotel because of the White Swan brand, and overall, I had a very positive experience. 👍"

"After visiting Nan'ao Island, we opted to stay in the city, which was very convenient. This guesthouse has a family room that can accommodate four people, and the bunk beds are large enough for adults. Breakfast was served at the full-season restaurant and was quite plentiful. The guesthouse also features a campsite and a restaurant. The restaurant offers high-quality seafood, and the chapel at the campsite is a wedding venue, perfect for taking photos."
