"This stay was great! The front desk staff was so enthusiastic, efficient at checking in, smiling throughout the whole process, and actively shared tips for playing. They also carefully wrote down the needs of the elderly who were traveling with them, which was very heartwarming. The sanitation of the guest rooms was in place, and the overall cleanliness was very comfortable. The room equipment was easy to use, and the humidifier was very considerate, which solved the problem of dryness. The transportation was very convenient, and the hotel parking lot was safe and convenient. When we went to the scenic spot, the hotel arranged a special person to take us to the visitor center, and picked us up on time in the evening. "Staying at Qishan Yue in Daocheng at the end of December was a fantastic experience overall, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Yading Village. Here's a detailed breakdown:
**Accommodation:** The guesthouse is centrally located in Yading Village, with rooms directly facing the snow-capped mountains. You can wake up to stunning, unobstructed mountain views just by opening your curtains. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with all necessary amenities, plus an oxygen concentrator and humidifier to help mitigate discomfort from the high altitude. In winter, there's even a cozy fireplace in the lobby downstairs, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere!
**Service Quality:** The staff were excellent, proactively informing us about important park regulations and providing detailed route and time recommendations. They were also very helpful with luggage and patiently answered all our questions. If you wanted to go to the village supermarket, there was even a special 'dog navigator' to guide the way, so no fear of getting lost.
**Dining:** You can simply scan a QR code to order meals right in the guesthouse lobby, saving time and energy looking for restaurants outside (especially crucial during the off-season when many village eateries are closed). They offer a diverse menu, from local hotpot specialties to homestyle stir-fries. A complimentary breakfast set is also provided, ensuring a balanced and nutritious start to your day.
**Convenient Transportation:** The guesthouse is conveniently located right at the third bus stop within the scenic area; you literally step off the bus and you're at the entrance. To go further into the park, you can simply wait for the shuttle right outside the guesthouse entrance – it's incredibly convenient (just let the staff know in advance, and they'll help flag down the bus and remind you of boarding times).

We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.

"I'm a tourist from Malaysia. I don't have high expectations for accommodation; as long as the room is clean and smoke-free, I'm happy. There's a supermarket and many restaurants right outside the hotel. This hotel has a 30-space parking lot and 36 rooms, so those driving during the off-season won't have trouble finding parking. During peak season, it's best to fly, otherwise, the whole town of Daocheng gets very congested, making driving difficult. Before going to Daocheng Yading, be sure to prepare for altitude sickness, and whatever you do, don't shower before heading to the scenic area, or you'll likely experience very uncomfortable altitude sickness. Don't hesitate to buy oxygen tanks, as breathing can truly be difficult at such high altitudes."

"I drove from Kangding all the way. Daocheng Aden Station Zhuyu Courtyard is the most comfortable homestay for 2 days. It is clean and hygienic. The service is very good. I called the pre-arrival phone before I arrived at the store. As soon as I arrived at the store, the waiter picked us up and helped with the luggage enthusiastically.
The altitude is low and comfortable, there is no lack of oxygen, plus the bedding and facilities in the room are really good, floor heating + humidifier, to ensure that the temperature is not dry, after climbing the Aden scenic spot, the afternoon tea coffee is very good, and they are still burning in their hall. The fire, the proprietress burned the fire of the fireplace very hot, It’s so comfortable to chat with friends and drink milk tea.

The hotel environment was also fantastic; we were in such a hurry to visit the attractions in the morning that we didn't get a chance to take photos. In the afternoon, we were delayed checking out because we were returning from an attraction, but they didn't charge us any extra fees. I actually booked this hotel after reading many reviews and comparing several options. If I get the chance to visit with friends again, I'd definitely choose this hotel."

"Located within the park, you must purchase a ticket to enter by taking the park's shuttle. The hotel is located at the second bus stop. The lovely staff upgraded my room to a mountain view and helped carry my luggage up to the second floor. I was originally going to stay two nights, but on the final night, I had to leave very early in the morning to catch a bus back to Chengdu. The hotel managed to find a bus, but the price was very high. I had to change my plans and only stayed one night, but the staff immediately refunded me for the second night. Thank you very much!"

You can make an appointment for the hotel's pick-up vehicle, and receive the hotel directly from the entrance of the visitor center. You don't have to queue up to take the bus. The driver's master is lively and cheerful. He also introduced a scenic guide who is good at taking pictures. The price is fair. The next day the scenic tour experience is very good. I was particularly touched to learn that the day of my stay was my birthday. The hotel specially prepared a longevity noodles birthday cake and a small gift to the room. The room facilities are very comprehensive, the window is Xian Nairi, you have to especially praise the speed of hot water supply, hot water in seconds, dare not take a bath on the plateau, hot application is very comfortable. The oxygen supply is very sufficient, and I sleep well at an altitude of 3,700. There is a small road behind the hotel that was developed by the hotel itself, and the angle of seeing Xiannai is better. Lunch and dinner can also be ordered directly with the housekeeper. The amount of dishes is very large, the taste can also be selected, there are Sichuan dishes and there are not spicy. GGuest UserWhen I first booked, I wasn't aware of the scenic area's rule requiring visitors to enter by shuttle bus before 4:30 PM on the day of arrival. Fortunately, the hotel was very accommodating and allowed me to postpone my booking by a day.
For dinner, I had the tender stewed chicken and Mapo Tofu. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat much due to severe altitude sickness. However, as a self-proclaimed foodie, I'd rate the chicken soup 90 out of 100 – the chicken itself was a good choice, though the knife work could be refined. The Mapo Tofu, while not made with traditional Sichuan tofu and thus having a slightly less authentic texture, was still perfectly acceptable.
My altitude sickness worsened that night. Even with the diffused oxygen system in the room, I remained sleepless throughout. This was a profound irony for someone like me, who has cycled across China and entered Tibet via the G219 highway multiple times.
The male owner spoke good foreign languages, and the female owner was gracefully elegant. Highly recommended.

Despite being at an altitude of 4000 meters, the room had excellent oxygen supply, so we didn't experience any altitude sickness. The bedding was super comfortable, and the heating worked perfectly. Sipping ******* tea while gazing at the majestic peaks was incredibly therapeutic!
✨ The interior design was also a wonderful surprise! It perfectly blended traditional ******* style with modern aesthetics. From the intricate Thangka decorations to the beautiful wooden furniture, every detail was carefully considered. The warm lighting made the room feel exceptionally cozy, and it was so photogenic, it felt like every picture came with a built-in filter!
🍴 The food was absolutely amazing! The yak hot pot was both wonderfully warming and incredibly tender. Even the simple stir-fried dishes had that authentic 'wok hei' flavor – I honestly didn't expect such delicious food from a hotel in a scenic area!
💁 The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, proactively carrying our luggage and patiently explaining precautions for high-altitude environments, which put us completely at ease. I also loved the beautiful flowers the hotel cultivates; set against the blue skies and white clouds of the plateau, they were absolutely stunning. GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

The location was not good. It only took two minutes to reach the visitor center. Parking is convenient for you. The room facilities are complete and the hygiene is very good.
