Daocheng Hotels with Bars

"I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection."

"The hotel might look old, BUT it has a grand view! The view from either my room or the rooftop is incredible! I visited in May 2026 and I can see BOTH the golden sunrise and the golden sunset from here. The hotel owner was also nice eventhough we did not talk much. Prepare your cold clothes, so you can enjoy the incredible view comfortably. PS: My room which was on the 3rd floor, was also clean eventhough they don't have elevator, so you have to use stairs if you stay here. But I would say it was an amazing stay for me."

"This hotel truly excels in all four aspects: location, amenities, views, and service. 1. **Location**: Situated at Yading Village Station 3, it's perfect for those planning a two-day trip. You won't have to endure the 40-minute one-way shuttle ride back and forth. The hotel is only a 12-minute drive from the shuttle bus terminal and is right at the entrance of Station 3. You don't need to walk an extra step. You can even wait for the shuttle while taking photos on a swing chair in the lobby or the small courtyard, as you can see the snow-capped mountains from anywhere in the hotel (see photo 1, taken this morning). 2. **Amenities**: They provide a Dyson hairdryer, 'Black Sister' toothpaste, a large jar of freshly cut kumquat and lemon fruit tea, and four separate fruit platters. Each room comes with a small wooden table, a vintage tea set, and two packets of tea. There's also a private balcony where you can step out. You can brew tea and take your wooden tray tea set out to take pictures. 3. **Oxygen Supply**: Oxygen is supplied 24 hours a day, unlike many hotels that only offer it from 7 PM to 7 AM. It's a diffused oxygen supply with 24% oxygen concentration. Hotels in Litang typically only reach 21%. If you have an oxygen bag, you can even refill it in your room as the interface is compatible. 4. **Service**: Around 8 PM, I felt cold and asked the front desk to check if the air conditioning was working correctly. Without a word, the front desk brought up a massive heater that could reach a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. You'll sleep soundly and won't get cold, and it's completely silent. 5. **Luggage Service**: If you're staying at the hotel with luggage and find it inconvenient to carry to the attractions the next day, you can store it at the front desk. You also won't have to worry about wasting time and queuing for another shuttle to pick up your luggage at the station on your return journey. A front desk staff member will wait for you at the station with your luggage after your return bus departs. You don't even need to get off; they'll load your luggage directly onto the shuttle bus. Nice! 6. **Convenience Store**: If you're short on food, there's a small supermarket about 50 meters from the hotel. A bowl of braised beef noodles costs only 7 yuan – grab it! This is inside a scenic area; at the visitor center, it would start at 20 yuan."

"This time we drove to Daocheng and stayed at the Boland Cloud Hotel for two consecutive nights. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it! We arrived late at night, and I was worried about a troublesome check-in. To my surprise, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout. They proactively guided us to parking and handled the check-in process efficiently and patiently. The fatigue from our long journey instantly melted away. The hotel's facilities are top-notch for Daocheng. The oxygen supply system is especially friendly for guests worried about altitude sickness. The bedding in the room was soft and clean, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath and face towels, meaning we didn't need to bring our own toiletries, which lightened our load significantly. The entire hotel environment was quiet, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of travel. In addition, a buffet breakfast, laundry room, and robot service were all available. The location is very close to Shangri-La Town, making it extremely convenient for getting around and sightseeing. As a newly opened hotel in 2025, the facilities are brand new and spotless, the service is meticulous and attentive, and the value for money is outstanding. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Daocheng Yading. I will choose Boland Cloud Hotel again on my next visit!"

"Wow, this is fantastic! The hotel has a large courtyard, and parking is free for those driving, so you don't need to worry about finding a spot. There are free oxygen concentrators in the lobby, and you can fill oxygen bags for free. The front desk staff are very welcoming and quick to check in. They even provided free travel guides for Yading and the surrounding area, and recommended nearby restaurants. They proactively helped with our luggage. The rooms were clean, spacious, and great value for money. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the town center. The rooms were well-equipped, and you can call the front desk anytime you need anything. There's also a free washing machine on the third floor. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel and highly recommended!"

"The hotel is currently very reasonably priced and conveniently located in the center of Shangri-La Town. You can get directly to the town from the airport by bus. Location: Very convenient, with everything nearby. Across the street is Ling Shi You Ming (a snack shop), and next door are ******* restaurants, Luckin Coffee, and cultural souvenir shops. Value for money: Excellent. Facilities: They even have free oxygen machines, which are very practical. Service: Very good. Environment: ******* style."

"A very good hotel. A set of limited edition Yading postcards from ”Jingbo ▪ Worry-Free Commemoration”: The most memorable gift of the trip, plus a CD with local folk songs. Two servings of Rhodiola Rosea drinks to combat altitude sickness: In addition to Rhodiola Rosea, there was also a bedtime milk, which was foamed. The complimentary desserts were also quite good. I would definitely stay here again next time I come."

"The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog! We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view. The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy. Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious. They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow."
