"I love the location and cleaning of the place. This is my 1st time in Shangrila town. The Owner is very friendly and helpful. He guided me and walk with me to buy a bus ticket even he is cannot speak English but Google translate and wechat can help us a lot. So I ended up book 1 more night in Riwa Location : Great, 5 mins walk from Riwa Bus station (hotel is next to the bus station but it’s in the backside) Room : Big and Clean Water pressure : High but slightly take time to hot (it’s so cold in April) Hotel has Elevator ! You can find a taxi around a town Plenty of food and supermarket near by I recommend this hotel"

"The location is excellent in Ruwa Town, now known as Shangri-La Town. From the hotel, you'll be surrounded by many shops and restaurants, and most importantly, it's close to the bus station, which is very convenient. Oh, and the accommodation doesn't have an elevator, but I got a room on the second floor, so it's not a big deal. / To and from Yading Park, the fare is 10 yuan per person, which is a car pool."

"The hotel I booked is in the center of Shangri-La town, and it was pretty quiet at night. The altitude here is relatively low, only about 2900 meters. We drove from Xinduqiao, and the altitude along the way was a bit high. One of us experienced altitude sickness and felt very uncomfortable at night. We called the owner, and upon hearing about our altitude sickness, he drove us to the local clinic in the middle of the night. After getting oxygen at the hospital, we felt much better. We are incredibly grateful to the owner! The service was truly exceptional. I will definitely recommend your hotel to any friends visiting in the future."

"We just need to stay overnight to take the morning flight in Daocheng. We arrived around 8pm, so didn't get to see much of the town. Good points: + The hotel has elevator, which is helpful, even though a little old. + There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, so we could buy food for our next day breakfast as the rooms didn't come with breakfast. + The staff is very helpful in booking us a taxi the next morning to go to the airport. + The room we got has no cigarette smell Improvement point: - The hot shower was working, but the water pressure was low, so it's very hard to shower without getting cold."

"The courtyard of the B&B is very big. You can sit in the courtyard, drink tea, chat and watch the sunset. You can also watch the starry sky at night. The grass in the courtyard is also green and the small flowers of different colors are blooming, which is very beautiful. You can also wear ******* clothes for free and take photos, which is very photogenic. The boss Very welcoming and great service in helping us carry our luggage!"

"Absolutely wonderful homestay and hostess! I was travelling alone and suffered some altitude sickness and the hostess was so kind. She organised the oxygen machine so I could sleep and recover from the sickness. I stayed 2 nights originally and loved it so much i went back later and stayed another night.The rooms are extremely comfortable, great hot water pressure, excellent heating. The hostess speaks excellent English and also can organise carpooling with taxis to reach Yading. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Daocheng."

"After many days of car camping, I deliberately booked this hotel in advance after hiking the long trail at Yading Nature Reserve today. My considerations were: good decor, ample parking, clean facilities, a washing machine, a dryer, a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, non-disposable towels, a convenient location, a reasonable price, and high ratings... This place met all my requirements~ I arrived from the scenic area at 7 PM and finished dinner around 9 PM. The hotel has ample, secure private parking behind it, which is very friendly for female drivers. It would be even better if there were charging stations. The front desk staff had already turned on the underfloor heating and air conditioning for me. As it was cold, the room was wonderfully warm when I entered. The lighting was soft, the bedding comfortable, and there was a humidifier (filled with water and ran all night, very useful). For me, I prefer warm, cotton towels, and luckily, these weren't the disposable, non-absorbent, non-warming kind. For RV travelers, a washing machine and dryer are really important. This hotel has three washing machines (on the top floor, 5th floor) and one dryer (on the -1st floor). The machines were clean and odorless. Its location is quiet yet central, very close to the commercial street with many restaurants, milk tea shops, Youming snacks, pharmacies, and courier stations (if you shop online, ask sellers to use EMS or SF Express; deliveries here aren't door-to-door, they're pick-up at a station. Other stations are a bit far. Definitely avoid YTO and Yunda, they don't have stations here – don't ask me how I know 😭). For those driving, the hotel's location is also suitable for accessing the scenic area. The front desk staff were very kind and patiently helped me with my issues. Above is my stay experience. "Located within the park, you must purchase a ticket to enter by taking the park's shuttle. The hotel is located at the second bus stop. The lovely staff upgraded my room to a mountain view and helped carry my luggage up to the second floor. I was originally going to stay two nights, but on the final night, I had to leave very early in the morning to catch a bus back to Chengdu. The hotel managed to find a bus, but the price was very high. I had to change my plans and only stayed one night, but the staff immediately refunded me for the second night. Thank you very much!"

"The B&B's location is incredibly convenient, right next to Scenic Bus Stop #2. The host provided exceptionally thoughtful service; upon our afternoon arrival, they were already waiting at the scenic area entrance to help with our luggage and guide us on ticket purchases. After checking in, three things particularly impressed me: they offer free, 24/7 oxygen supply, there's a dedicated laundry room, and their in-house Sichuan chef cooked up fantastic dishes with authentic flavors that rivaled even renowned Sichuan restaurants in Chengdu. I will definitely recommend this B&B as a top choice to any friends visiting in the future!"
