"Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯"

"This Longji Terraces B&B completely conquered me! The building is embedded in the mountainside. The blue glass of the observation deck reflects the flowing sea of ​​clouds. The moment you lie down on the rattan lounge chair, you will be surrounded by the Longji Terraces all over the mountains - layers of green waves rush from under your feet to the skyline, and even your breath is filled with the fragrance of green grass! The B&B owner definitely understands the hearts of travelers! Each room is equipped with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The room facilities are complete and new. My wife repeatedly asked where she bought the soft quilts. What is even more surprising is that the design of the public area on the first floor can be called an aesthetic exhibition hall, with luxurious dining tables, lounge chairs, sofas, and the observation deck also has many exquisite tables and chairs. It is very convenient to bring a notebook to the dining table on the first floor to do work several times a day in the morning and evening. Every time (emphasized, every time) I sit down, the lady at the front desk will always bring a pot of Longji old tree black tea. This detail touched me very much. The breakfast was very good, with a good combination of steamed cake, corn, egg porridge and Guilin rice noodles. The bamboo tube rice for lunch was very delicious. My son couldn't finish the rice noodles for breakfast for two days because he was too hungry, so I finished them all. In addition, the photos taken for us by the beautiful lady at the front desk were of very good quality and her photography skills were great. The only drawback is that comparison can be harmful. When we arrived in Yangshuo yesterday, my wife and two kids were not satisfied with the hotel we stayed in. We regretted coming to Yangshuo and changed our train to leave Yangshuo early. My daughter and son still missed their home amidst the mountains and rivers. Next time if we go to Longji Rice Terraces again, we will choose this one again."

"We had an amazing stay, the view was spectacular and the staff were extremely hospitable. On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation! The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip."

"Pros: The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful views of the terraced fields right from our balcony. The owner was incredibly hospitable and even helped us with our luggage. Cons: However, there were a few issues. The balcony door lacked a lock, which made us feel quite uneasy and unable to sleep soundly. Hand soap was not provided, and some power outlets were faulty, causing plugs to fit loosely. Additionally, the frosted glass wall separating the bathroom/shower was quite transparent, making it easy to see through – definitely not ideal for families."

"The hot springs are truly amazing! There are more than a dozen pools, all quite large, and the front desk service was excellent. The room I booked this time was in the main building, which seems to have been renovated. It doesn't look old, but due to its proximity to the mountain, it still smells damp. When I checked in, the fifth floor hadn't been cleaned yet, so I was assigned the fourth. The lighting was average, and the duvet felt wet. If you want a newer room and proximity to the hot springs, you can definitely choose the spa. After checking in, I realized it's part of the same establishment and not much more expensive. However, the price on Ctrip for the same room wasn't great. The price on Douyin was under 300. I'll have to learn to compare prices. Honestly."

"A lovely place for staycation. It was so serene and the view, looking at the rice terraces, replenishes one’s soul and relaxes not just your eyes but your whole body. I love the position of the bath tub overlooking the rice terraces and the nearby osmanthus trees. Morning walk along the path and seeing the ready smile of the locals was sweet. The bed and pillow are comfy and clean. Had we stayed for more than 2 nights, I would have used the washing machine in our room 😉 We had our breakfast, not much options but filling, and dinner (not included in the booking fee and the food in the menu are freshly cooked once you order) at the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel staff are accommodating. They even helped us arrange a car to bring us to and from the hotel. Free use of traditional costume for pictorial."
