"Pros: The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful views of the terraced fields right from our balcony. The owner was incredibly hospitable and even helped us with our luggage. Cons: However, there were a few issues. The balcony door lacked a lock, which made us feel quite uneasy and unable to sleep soundly. Hand soap was not provided, and some power outlets were faulty, causing plugs to fit loosely. Additionally, the frosted glass wall separating the bathroom/shower was quite transparent, making it easy to see through – definitely not ideal for families."

"This is my most recommended hotel for a trip to Guangxi. 1. Location: Located just 900 meters from the entrance to Jinkeng Dazhai in Longji, it's easily accessible by car, making it incredibly convenient. You can walk to the Dazhai exit to take the cable car and visit popular restaurants like Yewang. P.S.: The importance of location is something I only realized after my stay. Don't blindly choose a high spot. There's not much to do in Longji, just visit the observation deck and spend some time at the hotel, so location is crucial. Either stay at the hotel the entire time, or hike the mountain trails to your heart's content. 2. View: Courtyard No. 2 is located just below the Longji Rice Terraces, facing Observation Deck No. 2. The public area features a terrace with lounge chairs and sofas, offering a panoramic view of the entire rice terraces. Downstairs is a vast expanse of rice fields, especially when dining in the morning facing the terraces – it instantly whets your appetite. If you choose a room with a view, you can enjoy the view from your room, making for some truly stunning photos. 3. Quality: The hotel's sanitation, amenities, and decor are truly remarkable, with meticulous attention to detail. The quality of the toiletries is significantly higher than the average B&B. The room facilities are clean, tidy, and advanced, and even the shampoo is replaced every time. Every detail reflects quality. 4. Service: The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off service to Dazhai and certain locations, free afternoon tea, photo-taking clothing, and departure gifts, including black tea and rice wine. I especially want to mention the warm and thoughtful receptionist and the friendly driver who helped us with many of our travel plans. 🤨 I'll definitely stay here again next time."

The lodge is situated right within the scenic area, and its substantial size in these mountains far exceeded my expectations. It features traditional stilt house architecture, showcasing a distinctive ethnic charm. All guest rooms are equipped with spacious balconies, offering guests breathtaking, immersive views of the terraced fields. Standing on the balcony, a gentle morning breeze brushes past as the green waves of the terraced fields shimmer under the sun, truly like stepping into a picturesque landscape. Notably, the hotel is also equipped with an elevator, providing immense convenience for guests. This makes navigating with luggage or assisting elderly guests and children significantly easier. "This is the hotel I was most satisfied with during my trip to Guilin. First of all, the hotel has a pleasant view, in the middle of the mountain, up and down the mountain is very convenient, the view location is excellent, booked 270 degree panoramic room, the view is too beautiful, the owner's house has a private large platform, can rest tea and eat, drive can drive near the hotel. Secondly, the service was so good that the boss and his family came down to help us carry our luggage. The boss's family is particularly good, the child has a stomachache at night (before in Beijing gastroenteritis) The boss's family helps find medicine at night, busy before and after, very moved. Third, the boss's house cooked rice dishes, absolutely, delicious and affordable, we ordered fried field snails, ribs, bamboo rice. The beef that the owner marinates at home is particularly delicious. The owner brewed her own rice wine so that we wouldn't get drunk. She even renewed the glass and gave us 2 bottles of fine wine before leaving. The tea is also the local red tea. Very delicious. Fourth, the boss's house has many ethnic costumes, you can match your own, very out of the film. "The guesthouse is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the Jinfoding Observation Deck. It's newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The view from the scenic rooms is absolutely breathtaking, and at night, you can even see the Milky Way! Gazing at the sky full of stars directly overhead was incredibly therapeutic and a delightful surprise. The owner provides fantastic service, offering complimentary round-trip transfers to Jinfoding, which saves you the cable car fee. During the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room for free, making the experience truly exceptional. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes made from ingredients grown and raised by the owner themselves – their own vegetables, chickens, and ducks. Highly recommended!"

"The terraced fields were right outside the window. I noticed people taking photos on the platform halfway up the mountain to the right. It wasn't until I walked to the terraced fields that I realized it was a central viewing platform overlooking the area in front of the hotel, so the hotel view was truly impressive. You need to contact the owner in advance to arrange a car; he's quite busy and often on the road, navigating winding paths, the journey takes about ten minutes each way. We had lunch at the hotel and strolled around the village in the evening. There was a convenience store in the guesthouse next door. The owner and the receptionist were very kind and welcoming. It rained after breakfast the next morning, and the village was shrouded in mist. Although the village is heavily commercialized, it has a unique charm. In the evening, I saw an old lady making bamboo rice at her doorstep, a large yellow dog dozing, and chickens roaming freely. Don't use navigation to get to the terraced fields from the hotel; instead, use a car route. There are signs halfway there, just follow them. The roads are always crowded. The walking route directly from the hotel is too dilapidated and deserted; I got bitten by mosquitoes several times."
