"Almost missed this place because it was not in the ranking list. It is a hidden gem. To me what make this place stands out compared with the many highly rated lodging in the vicinity is its design (the unit I booked has a floor to ceiling window, raised platform w cushion seat and bean bag to chill and have tea, no silly bath tub at window). The view is to die for, exactly same as the photo displayed in trip.com (I thot the photo was enhanced but turned out it is exactly the same on site. Even the photo I took looks surreal. The rice terrace looks so near and the cascading stepped layers look so distinct) and the price is less and even half of the other listing. Definitely value for money. Only downside is the shower water pressure is a bit low and hot water needed a while and smart WC not calibrated well w zesty sensor at work. Additional plus point, sunrise scene from your room if the clouds is in your favour. Good local home cooked food and attentive service from owner and family. Very near and easy stroll to lookout 1 and but tough yet short trail to lookout 2."

"This hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a view of a small terraced field from the room. While it doesn't offer the breathtaking, expansive terrace views you'd get from a mountaintop, I think the location is quite good. It's not far from Observation Deck No. 1, just a 10-minute walk, so there's no need to worry about steep climbs if you're not a confident driver. The owner and their family are very welcoming; they called to guide us to free parking even before we arrived, and after we settled in, they took us to see the terraced field light show. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with two spacious tatami beds. We arrived late (after 7 PM), so we missed out on the rice paddy fishing. The kids only got to play briefly in the hotel's outdoor pool, which had very clean water but was a bit chilly at night, so they couldn't stay in long. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel!"

"The room condition was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We could take amazing photos right from our room. The owner was very thoughtful and paid great attention to detail. He's also a fantastic photographer; the pictures he took of our family of four were beautiful. All our meals were at the hotel. The breakfast rice noodle set was very flavorful, and the lunch and dinner dishes were delicious, offering both home-style and local flavors. Longji Terraces, we'll be back! "It rained quite a bit in May, and it was raining when we visited, but the misty Longsheng had its own unique charm. The hotel was incredibly photogenic 📷. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the little details were well thought out. We stayed in a family room with a smart toilet 🚽 and Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures. The water pressure and temperature were stable, and they even provided a children's step stool at the sink. The toiletries were also of great quality 👍. The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor with affordable prices and good food. I recommend dining at the hotel, as guests get a discount. Parking is convenient 🅿️; you can park right in front of the hotel, which makes it easy to unload luggage. The hotel also has an elevator 🛗, making it a comfortable and easy stay with kids, very suitable for family travel."

"We have lived in many light luxury homestays through thousands of mountains and rivers. This homestay can be said to be the best homestay in the core essence of Longji Terraces. Before leaving, the boss called to take care of how many coats we brought. The weather turned cold and a warm current poured into our hearts. Reasons to choose to stay: the only new homestay in the scenic area with elevators and their own parking lot. The room is very large to watch the terraces up close. The bathtub is beautiful. The core scenic spot of Dajinzhai is on the large platform of the sky in the lobby of the hotel. You can see the beautiful scenery and  sunrise 🌅. The corner of Monet Garden is one of the reasons to attract me to place an order. The afternoon tea is very warm and the dishes cooked by the professional chef are delicious, especially the steamed chicken that has been raised for 246 days is too fragrant and delicious. We cancelled the shooting of several other villages last year, and enjoyed it in the homestay. It was also very convenient to go downstairs to the rice fields to shoot. The travel shots in the store are great, Miss Sister is all-round! The service is quite good. The screen of the circle of friends recommended the praise! I want to shoot again in the spring irrigation season."

"We drove here by car and left the car in the Dazhai parking lot, and the boss came down to pick us up. The road up the mountain is not accessible to outsiders. The room is very comfortable, the dishes prepared by the boss are delicious and the portions are sufficient. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic. The free rice fields and fishing made the children very happy. Adults are relaxed. It is also very close to Fenghuanghuitou and Jinfoding Scenic Area. I just want to slow down and play slowly."

"I was absolutely blown away by this 'Sky Garden' B&B! The views are truly unbeatable, with terraced fields stretching out before you. In the mornings and evenings, the mist rolls in, making it feel like you're living in a fairy tale. The room gets great natural light, it's clean and tidy, and the facilities are brand new, making for a super comfortable stay. The food at the B&B is incredibly authentic; the local dishes are so flavorful and perfectly suited my taste, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The service was thoughtful and attentive; they arranged everything for our outings and activities, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Plus, there are plenty of Instagrammable spots for amazing photos. It offers fantastic value for money, perfect for either a relaxing getaway or a photography trip. Highly recommend!"

"Amazing, amazing, amazing! If you're considering this hotel, just book it with your eyes closed. The service, facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and dining are all absolutely beyond 5-star quality. First, let's talk about the room facilities and cleanliness. The room was stunning and spotless. As soon as I walked in, I thought, 'The design here must have been guided by an expert.' I even sent photos to friends who said it looked like something out of Muji, haha. And the view from the window? Speechless... it's a direct, unobstructed view of the rice terraces, absolutely breathtaking. The service deserves huge praise too. Who is so good at selecting and training their staff? Can they do a training tour for all 5-star hotels nationwide? They're warm, hospitable, and a pleasure to be around. They anticipate your needs before you even think of them – they're just so proactive! It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call them personal butlers. I've never had such a comfortable hotel stay. It seems the hotel restaurant isn't listed on apps, but wow! The food was so good I wanted to hire the chef to cook for me at home. I stayed for three nights and pretty much tried all the specialty dishes. Not a single one was a miss, and it's far beyond typical farm-to-table quality. I really wanted to ask the chef which high-end hotel they trained at. 🥹 Oh, and there's an incredibly cute little dog! It's so well-behaved and clean, and it even 'waves' to ask for pets and cuddles. "Everything else about this guesthouse was great – the facilities were complete, and it was clean, not to mention the excellent service. But what I loved most was the view from this guesthouse. You don't have to specially go to a crowded viewing platform; you can just sit on your room's balcony and slowly enjoy the terraced fields. Watching the layers of terraces stretch endlessly, the scenery is truly spectacular. Anywhere you stand, the photos turn out great; you don't need to specifically search for the perfect angle."

What a find! This guesthouse is absolutely excellent. When staying at guesthouses, you always worry about things not living up to expectations, and while the online photos looked great, this place really nailed the details. From the bedsheets to the toiletries, from the tea to the food at their restaurant – I highly recommend their spicy chicken and rice paddy fish – everything shows the owner's dedication. It felt just like being at home, very reassuring. The staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly accommodating. I hope your business continues to thrive, and that you stay true to your original vision and maintain this level of service quality.

The B&B's location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views directly overlooking the terraced fields – truly picturesque! You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into it. You can drive quite close to the B&B, and they'll help you with your luggage up a short flight of steps. The B&B's car provides transfers to the cable car station (for viewing platform 3 and Jinfo Peak). Viewing platform 2 is just opposite; they'll drop you at the foot of the mountain, and it's a 15-25 minute climb to viewing platform 2 (the Thousand-Layer Heavenly Ladders). We had dinner on the first day and lunch on the second day at the B&B, and the food was delicious, especially the egg-fried rice, which had that wonderful 'wok hei' flavor. They served complimentary rice wine with every meal, which was sweet and had a very low alcohol content. The B&B also offers coffee and other beverages. They even gifted us two bottles of rice wine at the end! We booked two rooms; this particular room faced the terraced fields directly and had a balcony. You can also try catching fish in the rice paddies, which was a lot of fun.

Super friendly and helpful boss. The room is clean and has air conditioning, although there is no need to turn it on at night. It is quite cold at night when I was here in mid September. They serve a sumptuous breakfast and provide free laundry service. Beautiful view of the rice terraces especially at night when the lights are turned on. The price is not the cheapest in the village but definitely value for money. The hotel is up on the hill and can be a quite tiring climbing to it.

Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists.

What truly stood out was the balcony and the breathtaking views from it; you can see vast rice terraces right from your room. The guesthouse is tucked away deep inside the village, making it a wonderfully peaceful and quiet spot. The owner is very accommodating; if they're available, they'll drive down to pick you up from the foot of the mountain, and for the return journey, an uncle will give you a ride back down on his motorbike. Do be prepared for mosquitoes and insects, as they are common in the mountains and might even get into your room. The guesthouse is conveniently located between two main viewpoints: it's a 15-minute walk to 'Thousand-Layer Terraces' and 20 minutes to 'Xishan Shaole'. I went to 'Thousand-Layer Terraces' every day to enjoy the scenery. Getting to 'Jinfoding Peak', however, requires careful navigation. I believe I missed an unmarked shortcut, which resulted in a much longer trek. It took me about an hour and a half of combined uphill and downhill hiking to reach 'Jinfoding Peak'. Even if I had found the shortcut, I estimate it would still take over an hour. The locals at the guesthouse claimed it only takes 40 minutes, but I suspect that's because they're familiar with the shortcuts and are in excellent physical condition. For anyone who isn't very fit, my strong advice is to take the cable car directly from the Dazhai car park to 'Jinfoding Peak' on your first day, explore it thoroughly, and then head down to the guesthouse.

The guesthouse is located in Tiantouzhai, just a short walk from the viewing platform, which I personally feel is the best of the several viewing platforms, probably the second highest, but best for watching the sunrise and panoramic views. If you're lucky (good weather, and at the beginning or end of the ***** month), you can see a sky full of stars from the hotel's terrace at night, but you'll have to wait until later, after most of the surrounding lights have been turned off. The overall atmosphere is very soothing, perfect for relaxing after several days of travel. The service is excellent, and the owner's wife is a very good cook, quite rare, catering to a wide range of tastes. The guesthouse can book tickets back to Guilin, and the owner was very hospitable when we left, helping us get to the bus stop at the scenic area entrance.

The room was clean and tidy, the mattress and blankets were comfortable and warm, and the shower water was hot and plentiful. Standing on the balcony, you could see the entire rice terrace area, and they even provided a tripod for recording the sunrise – a rare find! The lovely landlady was warm and thoughtful, preparing ginger tea to warm everyone up, and serving local rice wine during the meal – fragrant and smooth. She also provided a basket of ethnic costumes, which we all enjoyed taking photos of. Furthermore, the hotel's public areas were exceptionally large; besides places to drink tea, read, or relax, there were even tables and ping-pong tables!

The inn is 100 meters next to the observation deck No. 1 of Jinkeng Dazhai Scenic Area. The room is large and well equipped. Standing on the balcony, you can see the terraces, which is very beautiful. The boss is very enthusiastic, free breakfast, delicious rice noodles. I really like this hotel and will choose to stay in the future.
