"Amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and they also offer good vegetarian options.
The location is peaceful and quiet – you can sleep with the windows open and hear nature all around. Sitting on the balcony with the view over the rice terraces is truly special.
I first stayed in a “90-degree view” room, which I wouldn’t really recommend, as it mostly faces another hotel. If possible, choose a room with a full terrace view – it’s absolutely worth it.
A big plus: the staff even made sure I got on the right bus – without their help, I probably would have ended up in the wrong place.
Overall, a fantastic place and great value for money. Highly recommended."

"The room's location is great, and if you're traveling with elderly or children, you can enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. The walk from the hotel entrance to Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak) is about 1.5 kilometers round trip, a short climb up the mountain.
During National Day, peak season, driving to the Dazhai parking lot is difficult. There's a shuttle bus to the bus stop midway, then a 20-minute walk along the pedestrian path to the Dazhai parking lot. The owner will then pick you up by car and take you into the village.
For meals, simply order from the hotel's first floor. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The complimentary pot of glutinous rice wine was very refreshing."

The place is very clean, the rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, the projector is a big plus, the toiletries are good, and the breakfast is delicious!
The only downside is the location; it's a bit far from the viewpoint, about a 7-8 minute drive. However, you can book a car with the owner, so it's a small saving.
Great place!
I spent the whole morning visiting the rice terraces and didn't get back until noon, but the landlady still cooked breakfast for me. I'm very grateful!
Oh, and their homemade rice wine is especially delicious!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners (husband and wife team) were genuinely interested to make sure all our needs were taken care of; and that all our questions were answered promptly and correctly. We felt more like part of their family instead of some foreign hotel guests. The wife is a wonderful chef! She can cook and how! We ate almost every meal at this hotel. We were sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel, it is situated mid way up the mountain, but if you stayed elsewhere high up, most days you will be enveloped completely with heavy fog and you wouldn’t see anything at all. Tell your DiDi driver to take you all the way to the bottom of the hotel and someone will come down to help you with the luggage."

"A perfect hotel in a unique location, with excellent facilities. The owners are a humble and wonderful family. They were very attentive and friendly. They picked us up and dropped us off at the entrance, gave us great recommendations, and cooked delicious and very tasty food, so much so that we ate there for the three days we stayed. There are hotels nearby that seem more modern, but we were looking for a more local and family-friendly experience, and we definitely got it! We went on the recommendation of my brother, who had been there with eight Spanish friends six months earlier and they loved it too. We are very grateful for the family's welcome and will definitely return."

The housekeeper is warm and attentive, providing transportation up and down the mountain, recommending sightseeing routes, and paying attention to every detail. The food was a pleasant surprise, with bamboo-tube chicken, stir-fried bamboo shoots with cured pork, and homemade rice wine—all authentic mountain delicacies.

Highly recommend Longji Terraces Jinkeng Dazhai Lianyujian B&B! The location is excellent, located in the middle of the No. 1 and No. 2 observation decks. Bring your own parking lot, you can drive directly to the downstairs of the hotel by car, and there is also an elevator. It is especially worry-free to carry your luggage up and down the stairs.
The homestay is newly renovated, the design is elegant and attentive, and the whole house is cleaned spotlessly. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows of the room can enjoy the beautiful view of the thousands of floors of the terraces while lying on the bed. The view is super wide, and you can quietly enjoy the sunrise of the terraces in the morning. The outdoor terrace is facing the whole terrace, and taking pictures, blowing hair, and daze are particularly healing.
The boss is super enthusiastic and real. The home-cooked dishes taste great. The yellow stewed chicken and Putian fish are super delicious. They also give a large pot of homemade rice wine, which tastes mellow. Before leaving, I also sent a warm heart gift. The food and accommodation experience was full. "we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

"The room was spacious and clean, with two 1.5-meter beds. In the morning, I could breathe in the fresh mountain air from the balcony. The owner was also very welcoming. The meals were generous, filling for three of us with two dishes and a soup. They were all local specialties, cooked and cooked to order. The next morning, they even made fried eggs for breakfast, which were perfectly cooked. The facilities were a little lacking. I thought there would be a charging station in the parking lot downstairs, so I could fully charge my car that night, but I didn't find one until I arrived. Fortunately, my car still had 70% battery. I hope the owner can address this issue."

My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care.
No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey.
This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat.
They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo.
The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage.
The room is clean, spacious and luxurious.
The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner.
We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

The host's service was exceptional; they helped with our luggage, and the meals they cooked were incredibly flavorful. Highly recommended! TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay, the view was spectacular and the staff were extremely hospitable. On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation!
The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients.
We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip.

GGiulia 何俊蜓Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

The hotel itself was spotless and very comfortable, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help us with tips and recommendations. They made us feel truly welcome from start to finish.

The room is very big, the logs are very stylish, the mattress and pillows are the most comfortable I have slept on during this trip, I like them very much. The boss is also very enthusiastic and will tell you how to get to the observation deck and how to play. The price is right, the cost performance is excellent, highly recommended, I will stay here again next time!

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights and had an incredible time. The view from our room was spectacular overlooking the rice terraces, with a bathtub just next to the window. The room is very clean and wooden giving it a nice rustic feeling. The location is not the easiest to get to but the hotel organised a transport for us from Guilin airport! They also helped us find our bus for our onward journey to Yangshuo. The staff was always very helpful and friendly, they were really great. The food was some of our favourite of our entire stay in china. Highly recommend the beef with potatoes and mixed veggies!

GGuest UserThe hot springs are truly amazing! There are more than a dozen pools, all quite large, and the front desk service was excellent. The room I booked this time was in the main building, which seems to have been renovated. It doesn't look old, but due to its proximity to the mountain, it still smells damp. When I checked in, the fifth floor hadn't been cleaned yet, so I was assigned the fourth. The lighting was average, and the duvet felt wet. If you want a newer room and proximity to the hot springs, you can definitely choose the spa. After checking in, I realized it's part of the same establishment and not much more expensive. However, the price on Ctrip for the same room wasn't great. The price on Douyin was under 300. I'll have to learn to compare prices. Honestly.
