Mile Hotels with Bars

"This hotel had been on my 'favorites' list for a while, so my expectations were quite high. After my stay, I'm a bit disappointed. **Facilities:** The hotel has a gym, kids' room, and entertainment room. The kids' room is quite basic and unsupervised. The entertainment room, with billiards and table tennis, is decent. The gym was empty, and the equipment was new; the changing rooms were excellent. The cocktails at the lobby bar were pretty average, but the live singer was good. The breakfast buffet had limited variety and the taste was just okay. The Chinese restaurant offers group deals, and the food was acceptable, but nothing special. Honestly, there aren't many good dining options nearby, so you're mostly stuck with the hotel's. **Hygiene:** The room environment was fine and quite spacious. Be careful with mosquitoes – don't leave the door open easily. When they provided children's toiletries, there was no mouthwash cup. I hope they can include one in the future, as glass cups are quite dangerous for kids. **Environment:** Overall, the hotel's environment is very comfortable and great for photos. **Service:** The service isn't quite up to par. Staff members aren't very enthusiastic when they see guests. The shuttle bus driver was great and very nice. Generally, the staff members I encountered weren't very friendly. For a hotel in this price range, I feel the service awareness is a bit lacking. **Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets & Sightseeing Car Tickets:** This saved us some money, and the shuttle bus drops you right at the scenic spot entrance, which is very convenient. **5 Digitally Retouched Travel Photos (requires advance booking):** The photographer was very nice, and the photos were ready quickly. He also provided good 'emotional value' (meaning he was good at making us feel comfortable and happy during the shoot)."

"very good. After playing, I went downstairs to soak in the hot spring. There was a pool that was perfect for my daughter to play in. She had so much fun that she refused to leave even after 12:30 in the evening. The water is very clean and there are lifebuoys for the children🛟. You can rinse on the first floor, there is warm water, and the rest area is also very nice. The lady at the front desk was very gentle and attentive. She patiently told us where to eat, drink and have fun. When we left, we forgot our phone, watch and drinks, so the lady at the front desk chased us out to give them to us. 👍"

"Yuexinyuan is a great place to bring children. The staff are very welcoming, and the kids love them. Everyone greets guests with a smile, and the butler even gave the children water toys! These past few days in Mile, there weren't as many people, making the experience even better. The hotel has its own hot spring pool, so you don't have to go outside to soak. The breakfast is also plentiful, and you can even DIY your own coffee and waffles. There's also complimentary wine tasting in the lobby! In short, this trip to Mile was made even more wonderful by Yuexinyuan!"

"The hotel is centrally located in the old town of Mile, right by the old fountain street. Mile isn't very big, so it's convenient to get around from here. The room itself was decent and spacious, but some of the facilities weren't well-maintained. The TV in my room kept failing to turn on. On the first day, I had staff come fix it, and it worked fine that day, but then it inexplicably wouldn't turn on again the next day. Since I wasn't spending much time in the room anyway, I didn't even bother calling for repairs the second time. The hotel has three elevators, but they're not very smart; during peak hours, you often have to wait a long time to catch one."

"The owner of Heyuan Yaju Guesthouse personally picked us up from the high-speed rail station. The guesthouse is quite a distance from Dongfengyun, but the rooms were spacious and very clean. We went out to eat, and my friend and I had stomach problems that night, feeling weak the next day. The owner's wife knew this and came to our room in the morning, asking if we needed to go to the clinic. She was very caring. Since we hadn't visited any attractions, she considered our fatigue and offered to drive us to the entrance. In the afternoon, she cooked two bowls of hot noodles, which made us feel very warm. We stayed two nights and she even drove us to the high-speed rail station again. The owner's wife is young, capable, and attentive; this stay at Heyuan Yaju Guesthouse left us with wonderful memories."

"The most delightful hotel I stayed at during my trip. The package, including a ticket to Dongfengyun, cost just over 300 yuan. After the ticket, it was only about 100 yuan, and I got a brand new hotel of the same quality as a 400-500 yuan Atour or Ji Hotel. All the facilities were great. However, the breakfast was too healthy – all whole grains. Dongfengyun is definitely worth a visit; the scenery is idyllic. But beware of Ma's Braised Chicken Rice Noodles in the city center – it's a total disappointment! I've been feeling bloated for two days since eating there."

"The hotel is located within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, boasting stunning scenery. The hotel's style perfectly matches the area, making it a unique and comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming; they immediately came to pick us up when we went to the wrong place, helped us with our luggage, and even escorted us directly to our room, providing a complimentary room upgrade. We were a bit tired upon arrival, so they let us order food from our room. The chef prepared the food before calling us, so we didn't have to come downstairs to eat. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was inexpensive – such thoughtfulness! They even baked some flatbread and gave it to us. Breakfast was a set meal (it was so delicious I only remembered to take a picture halfway through the meal), very plentiful and delicious. Staying here also saved us the entrance fee. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely choose it again if I visit Mile again."

"Facilities: We booked a two-bedroom cabin with a private hot spring tub. It's right next to another unit, so privacy is a bit limited. We were given a three-bedroom cabin, and I'm not sure if that was a mistake. While it looks a bit dated, there aren't any major issues overall, just a few points for improvement: 1) Not enough power outlets. 2) To access the hot tub in the backyard, you have to go out the front door and walk around to the back. It would be much more convenient if there was direct access from the cabin. 3) For a resort and hot spring hotel, there's a lack of drying facilities for clothes. Cleanliness: No issues, it was well-maintained and clean. The hot tubs are also cleaned by staff, but the cleaning personnel wore their shoes directly into the tub, which wasn't a great sight. Environment: Located within a park, the environment is undeniably beautiful, and the air is fresh. There's a shuttle service to the park's stations. I recommend visiting Monet's Garden; you can directly rent electric scooters by the lake. Service: Excellent, with quick responses and a good attitude. Dining: The breakfast restaurant has a wonderful view right by the lake, and the rice noodles are tasty. Transportation isn't very convenient, as it's about half an hour from the city center, and there are no nearby dining options. However, if you're driving with kids, I highly recommend staying for two days to fully enjoy the experience."

"Fortunately to know Qing peach blossom noodles, since then the moor is warm spring. I was very lucky to book a room in Xiaoyan Art Environment during the Lantern Festival. "Stayed at Maitreya for 2 nights and it was relaxing. I don’t feel any inconvenience when traveling alone. It’s more efficient to take a taxi when going to scenic spots because the place is small. Because the bus takes at least 20 minutes to wait and there is no real-time updates, when you can’t see the bus, you will wonder whether it leaves from the starting station. The air here is fresh during the day and quiet at night. To walk to Banshan Hot Spring, you need to walk from the back door of the alley. After 4 minutes, you will see two large iron doors and push them in. Then push the wooden door and enter the lobby of Building E of the Hot Spring Hotel. On the right hand side of the lobby is the entrance to the hot spring spa. To go to Huquan Ecological Park, walk in the same direction as leaving the B&B and you will arrive at the entrance in about the same time. There is a big sign. I envy the locals for having such beautiful free green space for walking, cycling, walking the dog and dancing. The aunties have such loud voices, hahaha. The B&B raises its own chickens on the mountain and the homemade braised chicken can be shipped nationwide. Just add the owner's WeChat account to pay directly. Breakfast is this braised chicken rice noodles, hard-boiled eggs, green vegetables, and chili oil. Eating them together is fragrant and full of nutrients including carbohydrates, protein, fat and fiber. So I bought 2 chickens😄😄😄"
