"This is a beautiful hotel nestled within the Mile Dongfengyun Scenic Area. Stepping into the lobby, the ingeniously designed echo wall immediately catches your eye. I had booked a twin room, and the hotel thoughtfully upgraded me to a room with a private hot spring courtyard, where the iconic Kaleidoscope Art Center stands directly across the way. The room was very comfortable, with all amenities readily available. After exploring the scenic area, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. While the scenery had already impressed me, the restaurant's offerings elevated the overall experience even further. The architecture blends seamlessly with nature, creating a wonderful ambiance. I've truly fallen in love with this small city of Mile and have already secretly planned to visit again."

"The facilities here are really great, completely exceeding my expectations! 👌 Both the equipment and the decor are very modern. Plus, the environment is excellent, perfect for hanging out with friends. Most importantly, their service is exceptional; it feels very thoughtful and comfortable. The air conditioning temperature was just right, the bedding was soft and cozy, and the toiletries were all individually packaged, making them convenient and reassuring to use."

"The room was clean and hygienic, with a comfortable and tidy environment. The soaking tub had a fast water flow. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, giving directions and resolving transportation issues. The breakfast was quite good. The separate toilet and shower area was convenient. The only slight drawback was the small size of the toilet stall, but it didn't significantly impact the overall stay experience!"

"This hotel stay was amazing! Initially, I was deliberating between this and other hotels inside the scenic area, but the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I had made the best decision. This is the kind of hotel I'd want to stay at for two nights. The lobby is exquisite, and the staff were incredibly warm and even helped me switch to the main building, which I preferred – a huge thank you! 🌹 The room was spacious, and the bedding was super comfortable. As someone with germophobia, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and hygiene of the room. The quiet environment and surrounding forest views were incredibly therapeutic; I could take deep breaths and enjoy a true forest bath. Plus, there are 16 different hot spring pools with various functions. Going for a soak both nights and being able to see the stars was truly delightful. Getting to the scenic area was also convenient with dedicated shuttle service. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, and there were even various classes offered daily, though unfortunately, I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely love to come back and stay again next time! ❤️"

"During the Chinese New Year, most hotels significantly inflate their prices, but this hotel's rates didn't seem to surge too drastically in comparison. The staff here are all quite enthusiastic. We booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready when we checked in (this might have been a slip-up due to the overwhelming number of guests during CNY). However, the manager personally came to apologize and explain the situation. A nice touch is that the hotel provides complimentary fruit and milk daily. The location is also very convenient; there's a delicious braised chicken rice noodle snack shop right downstairs. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"Traveling in Yunnan with my kids for a week, we stayed at three hotels: Wyndham Grand, Naga.S, and Atour. Atour was by far our favorite! 👍👍 During this peak travel season, at the other two hotels, I had to wake up every night in the early hours to do laundry, because that was the only time I could find an available washing machine. Then I'd have to time it perfectly to get to the dryer. I barely got any sleep. I honestly thought all hotels were like this, until I got to Atour and found out their laundry room has staff who do it for you! You just drop off your clothes with your room number, and they wash, dry, and fold them, then deliver them to your room. That's absolutely amazing! Plus, the hotel's environment, cleanliness, and breakfast were all excellent. The other two hotels should really take some notes!"

"We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place."

"The hotel is located in the Lake Spring Resort, which is full of coconut trees. Entering the hotel feels like living in a forest park, with lush greenery and very quiet. The rooms are all villa-type, suitable for a family trip, with a swimming pool and a private hot spring bathing pool, and very private. The service is even more satisfactory. We took the initiative to contact and arrange early check-in, and the housekeeper responded immediately to any needs. After soaking in the hot spring in the afternoon, we immediately cleaned the room and the hot spring pool while we went out for dinner. We also prepared candles and rose petals for the evening hot spring bath, and there were also evening desserts. It was really a great experience. You can lie down comfortably without leaving the hotel. It is the hotel with the best service and facilities so far."

"Facilities: The hotel is divided into ABCDE blocks. Block A is by the water, Block C has a breakfast restaurant, and Block E is close to the hot springs. My child loves feeding fish and swans, so we chose Block A, which has a very comfortable Southeast Asian style. We could take the hotel shuttle to other areas, and it was always readily available, which was very convenient. However, if you book Block A during the rainy season, I recommend getting a room facing the outer lake. Otherwise, you might end up like us, initially in a corner room facing the inner lake, where water flooded in due to the terrain. As you can see in the pictures, avoid the corner rooms on both sides (the photos with sunlight); the outer lake rooms are the best choice (the photos without sunlight), as you can feed both fish and swans from there. Environment: The hotel is located right in the Lake Spring Ecological Park, a very comfortable and free large park with great ecology and not many people. If it weren't for the heavy rain, I would have truly loved it here. Breakfast: The restaurant is spacious, and the food selection is extensive – absolutely wonderful. Outside the breakfast restaurant is another lake with koi fish, swans, and even squirrels in the trees, which the kids adored. We later tried the à la carte menu at another restaurant, Swan Lake, which was also good, though the staff seemed a bit aloof. Service: We encountered heavy rain and our room getting flooded, so we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff helped us with the room change, and many employees were tirelessly pumping water and wiping down the corridors – they worked very hard. We also received complimentary fruit and snacks in our room. Out of the four hotels we stayed at, this was our child's favorite. It's a shame we couldn't experience the hot springs due to the rain. On a side note, my child and I were trapped by a downpour at Qianwang Gate in the middle of the night and sought help from the hotel, but they said no car could come to assist us.
